The reason why bm turns light colored and light like that has to do with the amount of bile going through. I’ve had the exact same thing too. Take good care of you!💞

I have a childhood best friend confronting cirrhosis, she won't stop drinking at this time. I work on the donor side of organ donation... I see curses and blessings and miracles... but I'm here because of my friend. Thank you for your willingness to share. Many a TH-camr podcaster will describe the intense pressure to keep putting out content for the algorithm... my fear for you is that you are trading one addiction for another whereas I see the content you are already sharing as really valuable. Just some feed back for you. I will support you, whatever you do - because I believe in miracles. Hugs.

Hey! I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. Have you by any chance shown her a y of these videos? Thank you for the feedback and tge concern. I can get where u are coming from. The reason I create videos daily is for everyone out there who might be struggling with drinking. Or they are laying in a bed like I was, hopeless and depressed. I want there to be something to bring hope to those in need of it. It can be taxing and hard sometimes. But, I have never been the type of person to just hang around the house and just watch TV. I am currently not working right now and this really helps me keep my sanity. It gives me something to do and look forward to every day and it keeps my mind working. I really need to stimulate my mind, a lot. And to your point, I might be doing a little of that trading off, but it's a positive trade and I am not drinking. Thank you so much for this. God bless

Can't wait for your cooking video. Take your time friend. We re all in this together. Can i ask..have you tried fasting? Its fantastic for healing. They say i have jaundice in my liver? But said its not too bad? Not sure how to take that. This scares me..bcos ill be honest..i think its just another pass to drink more? Ive been so blessed by God? An alcoholic for 20 years and no lasting damage. I have enlarged veins( i think you spoke of that)and minimal jaundice? It scares me bcos our beautiful creator keeps giving me chances..and i keep taking the piss? I cant believe i dont have more damage..even the docs say that? I used to fit years back? Much love.xxx

My cousin dealt with the extreme fatigue. He struggled to get up the 3 steps to his front door every day. He lost a lot of weight too, and was malnourished when he was hospitalized.
His body was absolutely ravaged at the time of his passing, and I know he was so tired, mentally and physically. I've learned so much about this awful disease over the last few months, and I'm truly in awe of people who survive it and live a functional life.

I came 100% clean with my doc re my adhd meds. I had kicked a pain med addiction long ago. Vyvanse 60 & if I didn’t tell on myself I’d be dead. I can tell u it’s so hard to b honest w your doc & working for one they do want to help. I noticed my “need” for my adhd meds were the same as my pain meds. I told my doc & he helped me kick those too. It’s scary & tbh your doc knows. We aren’t fooling anyone. I was on my add med for 10yrs. I live without it now. Annoying af but I’m clean. You can do this!!! Have a heart to heart with your doc. She will help you promise & she isn’t going to shame u. That’s your addiction talking. I am upfront to a fault because I’ve learned “my way” gets me into nothing but trouble.
I’m here if u need anybody to talk to. Yeah u get tired coming off but it’s so nice not having to count pills anymore.

The light colored stools are caused by a lack of bile, which is made by the liver. It's a common symptom of cirrhosis. Bile is made from red blood cells and is needed to digest fat. Bilirubin has to leave via the kidneys when the normal metabolic pathways through the liver aren't functioning. Jaundice and light stools go hand in hand. The color that should be in your stool ends up in your skin eyes.

@@liverdisease-qb6rk That's my layman's understanding from being a home health aide years ago as well as having a few friends who developed cirrhosis. Thank God I never liked it that much. I used to drink moderately and occasionally, with a couple exceptions early in my drinking career, but I've quit entirely and it feels MUCH better. On no occasion in my life have I ever regretted NOT drinking. On the other hand, as I got older it would raise my blood pressure and ruin my sleep, so I've regretted having just one beer after going to sleep and waking up after two hours with rebound insomnia, unable to sleep for the rest of the night.

Did you have muscle and joint soreness? I did/do. I honestly felt like an 80 year old man, which I am not. I dreaded having to get out of the car because of the pain and stiffness involved. It made me want to be inactive. But being inactive made it worse. My range of motion was so bad getting dressed was a challenge. So I started exercising, forcing myself to. And that has slowly helped. I've still got some soreness but not nearly as bad as earlier. I'm probably about 80% where I was pre diagnosis and it's taken me nearly a year to get here.

I have a lot of the same symptoms you have so thank you for making me feel not so alone. I've been having a hard time lately with depression and I also go through times when I will be just crying for like a day or two. The thing that is so hard is it's an invisible disease. When someone looks at you they don't see anything wrong with you and yet we are sick non stop and have so many things going wrong inside. Until people educate themselves with the disease and the life expectancy etc. you suffer in silence. I would tell people things and they say ya ya and don't realize how serious it is. I didn''t think this would happen to me either so thanks again for sharing!

I’ve been sober over a year and am only NOW noticing symptoms. Even after repeated blood tests showing my bilirubin is/was relatively normal, Doctor telling me I’m doing well, now I’m getting these symptoms of Cirrhosis… idk what to think at this point. My appointment isn’t for another few weeks, so I’m nervous and worried (as symptoms persist) and of course STRESS only makes this disease worse 😐 idk what to think.
My current symptoms for the last few days:
    •Nausea
    •Dizziness/Vertigo
    •Fatigue
    •Insomnia
•Minor stomach pain, including strange discomfort and a throbbing sensation in the liver area
    •Itchy skin
•Amber colored urine (I’ve mentioned the urine before, as I’ve had this issue for longer than a few days, but am constantly told it’s nothing to worry about)
I’m concerned… hoping my doctor isn’t just missing something that could be potentially life threatening

My husband died of Alcoholic Cirrhosis 4.5 years ago. I found out last June that I have NASH Cirrhosis. Hearing you speak about your path with this is helpful, makes it not as lonely. Thank you for putting yourself out there.
"I'm so tired of being sick and tired." That's a fact!

Depression is resentment (anger, bitterness, hatred, self hatred, etc) towards people, places and things that doesn't have anywhere to go and it comes back on you. The key to dealing with it is to recognizie your shortcomings without resenting or being upset with it. Hating Conscience is tantamount to hating God.

    • @liverdisease-qb6rk
      @liverdisease-qb6rk  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

Hmmm.... never heard this before. I agree with you to a certain extent. I was very depressed about the fact that I was stuck in the bed and very very ill. I couldn't get up on my own for a month. I was home by myself all day long, stuck in the bed with no one to help me at all. I was scared that my family would come home to find me not alive in my bed and I didn't want that to happen. It was the hardest thing I have ever ever had to deal with I my life. I was told that I wouldn't be here for the holidays that just passed. I then had a surgery that I thought would save my life, that was not successful and caused me a great deal of pain. I laid in bed while my spleen died while still inside of me and I can't begin to explain the amount of pain that caused. I wasn't angry, bitter, or had any hatred in my heart at all. I was upset and depressed because of how sick I was, I was lost and scared. I didn't resent anyone, or anything. I just don't feel like it can be summed up that easily. There are so many other factors that come into play. Thank you for sharing your opinion and I hope that I haven't upset you with sharing my opinions. God bless

You could. If you are having pain in your liver, I would go see a Dr about it. You could potentially catch something early enough to address it. Thank you for the question. God bless

Hi mate, I've experienced all that. I've lost two stone as I was 14 stone but it was all on my abdomen. That was about six weeks ago. However I'm left with this swelling on my pecks. The doctor says it's as a result of my drinking but they put me on spiralactone and we all know tha some people use this medication for.....that. How long did it take for them to go down? I'm stuck in a hard place as my doctor says I need this medication but I swear it's causing this swelling. Thanks for everything you are doing.

i will try to remember what i said. first off, i had my stent procedure dont monday, in my right leg, and all went well, and after 1 night in hospital for observation, i was released yesterday. my over-bearing, narcissist sister is here, to help me out, but from an emotional standpoint, it is hard to recover. physically, she takes my dog out. she does not like me, and is extremely judegemental, on even a tiny thing. she has already come into my home, and quietly flipped the way the toilet paper rolls off the holder. she will ask me a question, i will answer, and a minute later, she will ask me the same question. and if i say i already answered it, she will give me 'the face'. she is only interested in hearing her own voice, and only voices that agree with her. she is a 1%'er. i am not. she has no empathy, no awareness. not sure how many days sober now, but dec 11 was day 1. i also put in my comment that many of us do not FB< IG< X, etc, so maybe you could set up a generic email like liverdiseaseYT@somethingDOTcom, so we can reach out to you. i would love to do an interview with you, but i can not find a way to contact you privately to set up an interview. also, as for you wanting to start up another channel, just as this new one is starting to explode, if it were me, i would not dilute my channel or energy to try to develop something else, until this one is rock solid. i would worry that people would drift away from this one, or both. i would focus on this one only, for now. peace1@@liverdisease-qb6rk
