    Can we use normal urad dal, without its cover

      Thank you for your question! Traditionally, Chainsoo is prepared with whole black urad dal, including the skin, which gives it its distinct earthy flavour and rich texture. Using skinned urad dal won't achieve the same depth of flavour or texture, as the outer layer is crucial to the dish. For the authentic experience, we recommend sticking to whole urad dal.
