I am a designer at a tile shop. And we are a Schluter distributor. And boy do I love seeing all that orange waterproofing and heating. You guys are going to have such a beautiful long life with that bathroom! I haven't even seen the final result yet and that just made me so excited!! Congrats on the new space guys!! ❤️❤️

-i LOVE LOVE LOVE that you can clean ALL the spaces under and around that tub- it's such a nasty space in most bathrooms and this is SO much more hygienic I'm obsessed

My dad was a tile setter for 35 years. I use to go to his job sites as a kid and watched him work. Needless to say, this video was very satisfying to watch and made me nostalgic ❤️

Love this, I want a similar style bathroom, I just bought a 1890’s home and this style is my dream, to match a more similar time period than the linoleum and insert tub we currently are left with. It’ll be a long time from now, we spent all our money on making the home safe, but someday this is the dream.
I loved that mirror symphony smashing scene, and as soon as you said you were removing all the drywall to install something “special” I instantly said: “she’s doing shiplap!” I love the way the bathroom has turned out, it is beautiful and timeless. I also adore those little pleated lamp shades on the sconces above the vanity.

I'm just in shock by how different and easy remodeling in Canada/United States is compared to Europe. Wood subfloor and drywall in a bathroom?! Cutting out a window and nailgunning a new one in?! The bathroom looks amazing.

Yes, most interior wall are brick or stone, unless it is a stud wall that has been added since. In these cases we can’t move walls around as they are foundational :(

It's beautiful! We are planning our bathroom remodel and I am loving your floor. How about a nice decorative trim on your roman blinds in a matching color to add the length you want? There are some beautiful trims available.
Penny tile, Brass, and farmhouse style vanity's ARE very classic, but they're also INCREDIBLY trendy right now. For a reason! Because they're timeless and gorgeous. Well done 😁😁
You can add a pretty lace trim to the bottom of the curtains to make up the length. It’ll look amazing! Love the bathroom so much! Well done!!

Beautiful bathroom! I have made a similar mistake in making my own window treatments. You could cut off the bottom of the shade and add a nice thick contrasting trim in another color from the room to make up the extra length! It will look just like you meant to do that way all along lol

It looks beautiful. If you wanted to it would be simple to add an extra strip onto your blinds at either the top or bottom (or both). If you did contrast stitching you could make it look like part of the design. Alternatively you could add a contrast strip all around like a border.
I groaned out loud when I saw the Schluter board in the shower.. we’re so close to being done our bathroom and all we have left this weekend is to do the tile in our shower! Pray for us that we can get it done before we have our baby girl on Tuesday. Thankful for the thanksgiving long weekend for the extra day to get it done 😂😅🙈🤍

I absolutely diiiiieeeeddd over that vanity. Especially once you put the top on. 😍😍😍 I’ve wanted to find a piece vary similar and do a soapstone countertop for years.
I’ll also add that I think you’re backup for the shower walls ended up being a blessing! We have smaller tiles in our shower and it’s a pain! The less grout in the shower the better. Especially when you have rusty water like we do. We could never go with that beautiful of a light bathroom. So I’m a tad jealous seeing how beautiful yours is. 😂😂😂
Our tile is brown, yellow tan, and orangish tan. But the rusty water makes it straight up orange. 😩
