Major kudos to Zach and yourself for the frame around the television 🙌🏻 I love this series so much. Our tastes change and evolve as we get older so I totally get making over rooms. I’m in the same process myself and it’s like falling in love all over again with your home 🤍
Honestly if you guys ever want to do a diy TH-cam channel I’d fully support it cause with your editing and talking through it and nice shots I feel like I can learn more this way than a lot of diy channels. Great work Loeppkys ❤
Your patience and eye for perfection, definitely shines through with your renovations. It's amazing the transformation with your lounge room is stunning. Actually everything you have done is amazing. I loved the house as it was when you bought it.The floor plan was a real surprised. When I came across your channel, it was up to date with you waiting for the arrival of your 4th child. From those videos I honestly thought your home was a period home. I think your maternity cloths also helped me come too that conclusion. I like the way you are so methodical and didn't rush into anything. I honestly think we need to settle into a recently purchased older house, simple to get the fell of the house. It has certainly paid off with all the efforts you both have put into your Dream Home. It's wonderful that you have the workshop space in which to work, so it doesn't appear to be in a constant renovation state 24/7. Boy was I ever wrong. I am having a great time looking through your videos. Your family a a pure joy, one which you and Zack should be enormously proud of. You probably know this already but in case you don't. I am fairly certain the gloss, golden to yellow look of you lounge room coffee table was from Shellac. If you don't know shellac comes in flakes. You mix the shellac flakes in denatured alcohol and allow it to sit overnight. My father turned to woodwork in his retirement and he found a shellac finished worked well and was relatively inexpensive. He made me a rolltop desk and bedside tables and used a shellac finish. It is referred too shellacking.
Thank you for protecting the children’s hearing when the power tools were running 👍🏼. As someone who developed tinnitus as a child, I get so frustrated when I see people not doing this.
Husband and I will probably never be able to purchase a home of our own, so we just live vicariously through the Loeppkys! Thanks for taking us all along on this beautiful reno! 💖
For us it would be hard to happen as well, but with God all things are possible 🥺 may Jesus be the centre and bless you with a home someday God willing ❤️☺️
Megan Hart is amazing!! I have followed her for years and just over the last year or so she changed course with her platform and I can tell it has really paid off!! Her talent is incredible!!
This house has lot of potential in itself. Maybe one of my fave on yt. We have been looking for a better renting for our family for two years and It s starting to get a cross. Please pray we can find a home
I love this series so much. Your editing, your style, the way Zach helps you bring your vision to life. It’s all so inspirational and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
I love the new living room!!! I love your interior design, we are renters and have just bought our first house, we are moving in January. Your makeover series have really inspired me to finally make our space our own!!! Thank you for all of your wonderful content!!
Love this! I never thought mid century modern was your vibe so I was surprised by it. We have six penny couches too and LOVE them. And your camera work and editing for these videos continue to be excellent.
@@carolinechavez9203 You can buy a kit at the hardware store to make this look nice, but it's essentially a hole in the sheetrock behind the TV and another near the plug. The cord runs in and behind the wall, then out to plug it in.
I actually liked It Better before, but It looks beautiful also in the new version, I Guess this depends so much on personal taste. I Just renovated my whole house as well, it's so difficult to find your own style...
These are my favourite episodes! That FRAME 😍😍 and the lamp!! I said it on your Instagram, but I’ll say it here; I love that you both aren’t afraid failing at new diys, it’s kept me from starting anything new. I get caught up in the analysis paralysis and need to know all the steps before starting something. Truly inspiring!
I’ve been looking for the perfect rug for my living room and just bought the same one thanks to you! I love the way your living room turned out. So classy and comfortable. I’ve been wanting to do a board & batten wall and am going to rope my sister into helping me after Christmas 😊
i loved the living room before but man this is so much more cozy and homey!! love it so so much. i’m struggling with my design too i’m not sure what i like, i like so many different styles when it comes to home decor lol
Your living room before was one of my favorites and I couldn’t really imagine how it could be better (maybe also because of the shape/ size?) it looks AMAZING!! So designer and intentional but also lived in. I want to cuddle up on those couches!!
This space looks beautiful! I've been following Megan for a little while and was excited when I saw she was working with you on this room! Love how the frame turned out 👌🏻
This space looks so good! I feel like our styles are very similar with all the neutrals, cosy textures, and vintage home pieces. You are very talented❤️
hey guys! love watching your renos! I'm not an expert or anything but I was wondering that maybe it would've been worth it to run a lead test on that green paint on the coffee table? hope there's nothing to worry about!
This came the perfect time bc I just bought a house and have a very similar style- you gave me an idea of the base boards bc I’m doing a board and batten in my study and hated the idea of having flat base boards to blend. Love the way it turned out
IMPRESSED BEYOND WORDS👍 but i will try😅 This is the perfect video for this time of the year😍 last night we had the first snow, a warm cup of tea, a slow saturday morning and you two and your gorgeous new livingroom! great work from zack, perfect teamwork in the process and extraordinary editing of you delilah! greatings from germany
Haha I love this because I went through the same process with decorating my fiancée and I's new house. I thought Mid Century was what I wanted but decided I wanted more ornate and more character. 🤷🏻♀️ it's all a process
I LOVE this renovation series! Your style is inspiring but personally this one didn't match my taste too much, and I was soooo sad to see the lovely grey couch being replaced 😭. But it's OK, because that is not my house and I loved to see the process and happy you found your perfect style for your family! But I would volunteer to adopt the old couch if I wasn't miles away across the ocean😉😄
I thought the original living room was very nice but it is really spectacular now and truly seems to reflect your tastes! Kudos to you and Zach for such a great job! 🥇
Woooow looks amazing! I am blown away by the tv frame and the idea to use 4 instead of 2 curtains! Great inspo for when we buy our own home (soon... Hopefully)
Love the redo! So pretty. But part of me wonders if that space would be better served as the dining room with a beautiful rectangular table and then make the kids playroom the living room? Just a thought 💭 but overall, great job and its so unique and fun
A part of me liked the orange-wood trim because it added warmth and looked good with the antique furniture. Although I do like the new colour in general, and with curtains it looks good. Will you be doing anything to those wooden columns in the play room? Kinda feels like you'll have to paint everything that colour for it to match and look cohesive.
@@MatStarv yeah the windows stood out! They painted the door trim which I forgot about but I wonder what they'll do with the wood columns/surface and the playroom window trim. Once you paint it one colour, feels like you have to do the rest!
We plan to sand those down and stain them either a medium honey brown or white wash them to match the floors! We love the wood but the trims needed to be painted to protect them from further water damage.
It seems less like your style is changing and more like you're following current trends--from boho to mid-century to cottage. Which is fine! Change is fun.
Have to agree, it looks like Joanna Gaines was here 😂 But they did a beautiful job and it feels cozy and relaxing and truly designer-worthy! Amazing DIY ❤
Love it! I was refreshing all morning waiting for this video haha. We want a frame TV and will definitely be using your DIY frame idea- thanks for the inspo!
I love it! It's so beautiful and cozy. Your house is just perfect! I want my house to be like this when I'm older!🤎 Well done on EVERYTHING! And the editing is👌
Your living room looks lovely. One thing catches my eye and it's my problem not yours. Lol. I would have hung the curtain rod just above the trim so it didn't cut across the half circle window and take the rod a little wider.
May I suggest you test the underside of your new coffee table for lead paint and some of your antique furniture with 3m lead check swabs. It's important if you have little kids.
wow! i didn't think i could like your livingroom more but i love how it turned out!!! also obsessed with the chunky sweater you're wearing throughout the video... where is it from?
You are my style inspiration! 😊 but girl you’re editing… is on a different level. You are very talented!

Another thing you could do to the lamp to add that “stone” texture is add baking soda to your paint! Helps add the grit to it!! ❤️❤️

It’s been so fun watching your style develop and change.
Way to go Delilah! Love all the personal touches that were done in this space. So cozy and inviting 💛
