Nate Rider from Ontario, just bought a 2005 procharged with full pypes long tubes, catted x pipe and the pype bomb mid mufflers and I love how she sounds
@@sagoatgaming8017 the catback goes from the catalytic converter all the way back. the axleaback goes from the axle and everything behind it. It basically just replaced the muffler. However for the same exhaust system, youre paying a lot more for a catback than axleback. for example a flowmaster outlaw catback is like $200 more than a flowmaster outlaw axleback
I did enjoy the sound of my H pipe but I just got the x pipe behind my long tubes and on the dyno I did get a little more power and a little more rev. I have to say I'm very satisfied with the pypes X pipe

Hey Nate, I ran this setup, just whacked the mufflers and ran straight pipe back from the catz. It's state legal and passes emission, you will have a bit of a drone, but with the right stereo you won't notice it much. I went with 3.5 inch pipes on both sides, this was for my 05 GT, this thing grumbles nice at first startup, and sounds great at WOT and cruise. Love the down shift as well.
I really wanted to work with straight pipes not too long ago actually. It sounds amazing even with that as well, so i know what you are talking about lol thanks for the feedback! I may do it just for the hell of it soon
And horse power I did the same but went back to mufflers I am running Carven R series they are pretty loud an I just have stock H pipe hoping to get BBK headers an an aftermarket H pipe an it should be alot louder an sound really good
Corsa Extremes has the best tone for that car and can be the easiest one to manipulate in rpms to keep it quiet. That RSC feature for zero drone is the best in the industry.
Gonna say even hi-flow cat x-pipe is loud as fuck. I had Bassani's and yes I loved the sound paired with their stright through mufflers but I threw cat codes and swapped for Magnaflow's H-pipe. Still sounds hella nice and actually I think it sounds better :) I'd rather have a slower car that sounds good than a fast car that sounds like ass :)
My stingers have been fantastic! Not stupid loud, very low tone and some burbles on deceleration (stock everything else). I learnt a long time ago that generally, h pipes sound better with chambered style mufflers (Flowmaster, Mac etc) and xpipes sound better with straight thru style mufflers (borla, magnaflow etc) nice vid

I'm running an SLP Loudmouth 1. Old school V8 sound, it does drone a bit around 2000rpm, but it doesn't bother me. I get compliments wherever I go about how good it sounds.

Nate Rider thanks my wife knows when have it first gear she better hold on,the headers and other will make sound and run better,the hellion turbo kits is tuneable to 850 hp, add the other mods it should be at or over 1000 hp,I'm getting blacked out and new all matt black paint job soon,it I call the car little reaper
Awesome overview of the S197 exhaust anatomy and various axle backs. I have a 2008 Bullitt with the stock Bullitt exhaust which is unique to the Bullitts. Low and grumbly. Idle sounds amazing and obviously sounds amazing when you get on it. I’ve thought about changing it but to be honest it sounds so good that I don’t have any reason to swap.
I got an 07 Shelby gt which came with its own exhaust wonder if it’s the same , it’s a nice sounding setup but wish it was a little more louder tbh so not sure what I wanna do with it yet
BBK Longubes with BBK offroad X-pipe and Roush Extremes axel backs... after I installed my comp cams my neighbor said my cold start shook her coffee off her table :D

I have BBK shorty headers, magnaflow high flow cats, a turbonetics 60mm turbo kit (lots of extra tubing) then back with Brola stingers. The only thing that could make it sound better is a hot rod cam. love it
Nate Rider I got the shorties because cracked a manifold going through a car wash. I don't have a dyno of before so I don't know if there was a power increase, but they change up the whole harmonic of the exhaust, like you hear a lot more inside the car from the engine area, and I sware it got louder. I love them.
There is zero performance gain difference between the x and h pipe. Good vid. Catbacks are more expensive but my buddies 11 gt has the Borla S type 3 inch. It has to be the best sounding mustang ive heard.

Yes. I got it from AM and stuck it on myself so did not cost me much. But, the Pypes did have slight fit issues and slight drone, but nothing that bad. Haha. Take care.

If you don’t care about the ses light being on then cut off converters and put headers on it. No h pipe or x pipe just straight pipe from header to rear. It will be the meanest sounding v6 ever.
I have a v6 with a dual magnaflow exhaust with a jlt cai and an sct tune a few more things done to it pushing close to 300 hp but at idle it is easily mistaken for a v8 because it has a nice rumble but it has a v6 scream when i take off my favorite sounding other than an Audi r8 is my car
Nate Rider I wanted a v8 because I had the 5.0 foxbody which was all stock and I couldn't do anything to it because my dad said it had too many miles but the v6 was cheaper and I would say it gets better gas mileage but it read about 15 mpg
Nice video!!!! I wish I had this video a long time ago! I have BBK shorty headers, BBK 2.75" off-road x-pipe, 3" MBRP catback and MBRP race axleback. Sounds great at WOT. But it has a drone around 2k RPM that's hard on the ears. They don't make too many 3" axlebacks for the 3v, but I might be changing mine out to avoid losing my hearing.
No idea! I had boom tubes before, but these were 2.5 in. They didn't have any drone. Maybe you can do a video showing how to remove drone. I could always go back to the 2.5 in catback I suppose.
I have the stock exhaust on my GT. I still don’t know what the difference between H pipe and off road H/X pipe. I don’t plan to buy anything. So what if I just cut the mufflers or midpipe and put some metal pipes?
I had the Catback but moved away because it basically just straightpiped the car it comes with muffler deletes instead of the roush axlebacks which is a bummer
I have no catilic converters with a a off road x pype I switched from the h pype and yeah the h pype has that muscle deep tone to it and with the muffler delete x pype bombs you could honestly hear me from the entrance of the town from the end of town

previous owner did what i think is a muffler delete ive looked under and cant see anything but cant believe its a muffler delete because my v6 muffler delete was much louder and there is no drone at all on my gt

We have the same setup! I used to have the X-pipe and i liked it a lot but it sounds better with the H-pipe tbh.
H pipe is the way to go for these mustangs to be honest. Its so much lower and meaner. Thats how I like mustangs to be

My favorite is the off road x pipe with the pype bombs and the last one the x pipe with the borla ataks. My favorite exhaust hands down.

cruz I had the violators also lol. They sound better at idle with cams, but revs & driving I didn't like the way they sound compared to the outlaws.

yeah of course! Get a Y pipe installed and a mean axle back and your car will be sounding close to a v8 sound

My mustang is a v6 2000 new edge and I have short tube headers, x pipe, and dual exhaust. It sounds pretty close to a v8

Love my offroad h pipe with borla atak .my neighbors hate it. But I sure love it.
I have a v6 with a dual magnaflow exhaust with a jlt cai and an sct tune a few more things done to it pushing close to 300 hp but at idle it is easily mistaken for a v8 because it has a nice rumble but it has a v6 scream when i take off my favorite sounding other than an Audi r8 is my car
aye representing the V6 I love it! and that setup sounds amazing. it sure is one of the best for v6 mustangs. Keep up the great build
Nate Rider I wanted a v8 because I had the 5.0 foxbody which was all stock and I couldn't do anything to it because my dad said it had too many miles but the v6 was cheaper and I would say it gets better gas mileage but it read about 15 mpg

I have a 45th anniversary mustang (2009) and I have dual borla Ataks with H pipe and my cars a 5 speed. She's loud enough that I have no friends 😂

Nice video!!!! I wish I had this video a long time ago! I have BBK shorty headers, BBK 2.75" off-road x-pipe, 3" MBRP catback and MBRP race axleback. Sounds great at WOT. But it has a drone around 2k RPM that's hard on the ears. They don't make too many 3" axlebacks for the 3v, but I might be changing mine out to avoid losing my hearing.
Yeah I never knew there were 3" but thats super cool. I always like learning new things. What would you switch to if you had a choice?
No idea! I had boom tubes before, but these were 2.5 in. They didn't have any drone. Maybe you can do a video showing how to remove drone. I could always go back to the 2.5 in catback I suppose.
I have the stock exhaust on my GT. I still don’t know what the difference between H pipe and off road H/X pipe. I don’t plan to buy anything. So what if I just cut the mufflers or midpipe and put some metal pipes?
I got the roush extreme cat back and love it plus the cat back you loose the bulky mufflers in the rear

I had the Catback but moved away because it basically just straightpiped the car it comes with muffler deletes instead of the roush axlebacks which is a bummer

I have no catilic converters with a a off road x pype I switched from the h pype and yeah the h pype has that muscle deep tone to it and with the muffler delete x pype bombs you could honestly hear me from the entrance of the town from the end of town
hahaha I think I can hear you all the way from San Diego when you start up your car lol jk. I know that system is ridiculously loud, but it sounds great nonetheless

already commented my exhaust set for my 07GT in one of your past videos lol.....but why not....my set up is Pypes off road x-pipe and Pypes pipe bomb axle back exhaust with an 89 bama performance tune.....PS getting a Race Air Raid CAI next week...... PSS getting Ford performance Hot Rod camshafts next yr ;)

previous owner did what i think is a muffler delete ive looked under and cant see anything but cant believe its a muffler delete because my v6 muffler delete was much louder and there is no drone at all on my gt
