10 times in video games where the Villain wants to stop their villainous ways but the heros actions simply wouldn't let them.
Excellent and original idea for a video
*Reluctant villains
@@Bman32x I can think of one character that would be on that list that would be too much of a cheat... Mr. Freeze
This would make a great video!
Great idea! You could do this woth Bioshock Infinity, Far cry 4, FF X
How about a list of NPCs that help the player, but who realistically could have just solved the game's main issue themselves far more easily than the player?
the right wording would be Sooner then the Player
@@devinomatsu2444it doesn’t need to be sooner, just more easily.
Like the non-dlc Fallout 3. It would be easier for Fawkes to activate the purifier, but that wouldn’t necessarily be sooner.
@@TheAmishEngineer I was thinking more on the Power side of things Players are OP) to the Point for how Long the Purifier would Take. for the ocean to clean the Water it would be Sooner for the Player doing it then Fawkes
Or city guards in MMOs so strong it take a mob of players to take them down. Leave me alone, send the city guards to fight the boss.
Fawkes from fallout 3 lol
Something else that made No Nuke ending for MGSV impossible was the fact that some players figured out how to place their own nukes in inaccessible areas of their FOBs so invaders simply couldn't reach them to disarm them.
Until an invader who knew that trick showed up anyway lol
I don’t know if it was a bug or what but I got the disarmament ending on ps4 in 2019 I was living in north Florida at the time I didn’t know it was a rare thing until later
How about the most interesting story plots you only find by reading in-game scrolls/books/terminals? In other words, big plot details you would totally miss if you weren't reading all the little things you find along the way.
There’s a series of letters you find in Ghost of Tsushima that immediately come to mind. No NPCs to interact with, just the fate of an entire family told through a handful of letters and storytelling that eclipses many whole ass games.
THIS!
I see lots of Borderlands in the future of this suggestion. Seriously. They've got a crap-ton of lore on those echo communicators everyone leaves just laying around.
MR Eggdaddy how about a List of games with unfinished stories or ended on a cliffhangar
That should be easy, I've seen several lists like that. (Lots of games that were hopeful about a sequel which didn't come to be.)
How about 10 times the fans created a better plot than the developers?
Ah yes, the Indoctrination Theory
If you do a part 2, would you kindly include the secret boat level from Blood Omen? One of the devs said that you can access it legitimately by flipping a few hidden switches.
For some reason I feel compelled to make that video. Don't know what it is maybe its just the wording.
I’m 90% sure the impossible Easter egg in BO3 is to upgrade the map’s wonder weapon, the Apothican Servant. The weapon does not have an upgrade in Shadows of Evil, but does in other BO3 maps. And through an exploit where you tricked the game into thinking you had a different weapon equipped, you *could* actually upgrade the gun on Shadows of Evil. It was definitely something cut from the map.
Loved San Andreas' multiplayer mode. Me and my brother would grab a dirt bike and wreak havoc.
I know it has been talked about to death, but my favorite is from Batman: Arkham Asylum. The secret in Sharps office about Arkham City. How were we ever supposed to find that?
Right? Not that these weren't good picks, but that was the immediate one that came to mind.
You just made me check my ps2 copy of San Andreas. When I saw it said 1-2 Players on the back, I actively said WOAH! If you'd have never told me, I'd have never known...
Reference to the movie Looper? - "Today, time travel hasn't been invented. But in 30 years, it will be." --> Jules: "The one that's in Call of Duty Black Ops 3 hasn't actually yet been solved. But in a few months, it will be."
8 games where allies become enemies that you fight.
I like how the Creation Club player homes have a shelf to display my jars, except for the Saints & Seducers jars.
San Andreas' multi-player was really good, great chaotic fun
Can we get a list for tve 10 most uncomfortable moments for npcs
Now I'm curious. What was the easter egg? I'm not looking it up.
Surprised the secret room in Batman Arkham Asylum wasn't on this list. Not that anybody would figure out that you need to bomb a totally unmarked wall multiple times for it to collapse and reveal a sequel teaser.
Inspired by @darkstoryedits: 10 times in video games where the heroes defeated the villains but it turned out that the villain actually was the hero.
You are awesome - sauce!
Like, the villain is the hero from an alternate timeline or from the future, or the real bad guy was you all along?
@@cooltrainervaultboy-39 Like, the heroes thought they were the heroes, but they actually defeated the real hero. I don't even know if that many games with such a plot exist.
How about: Times when our companion/sidekick (or villain minions) defeated the main antagonist?
Examples? The closest thing that comes to my mind is when Ada Wong provides you with the rocket launcher at the end of Resident Evil 2 - but even there you have to pull the trigger yourself.
The Bigfoot mystery from San Andreas came from Bigfoot being credited in the manual... except if you paid attention to a certain vehicle, the Monster, it was painfully obvious it was the Bigfoot monster truck.
Ever since Jess left the channel Jules is the only one I tune in for
Wait, Jess left??? 😢
@@brobafett21 A quick Google shows she's still uploading tweets on the official channel so unless this has been stated somewhere else I think our man jumped the gun.
How about 10 most overlooked RTS games. RTS games are my favourite genre, but you pretty much never talk about them and there are so few of them nowadays.
Maybe you want to check out a FOSS RTS: 0 A.D.
It started out as an AOE2 mod; it still says alpha but I consider that more of a running joke from the devs.
I really miss Command & Conquer.
Z, KKND, that one Small Soldiers RTS...
If you want really obscure spinoff games, Heroes of Mana and Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings.
10 characters that made franchises iconic
8 games unfairly criticized for not being other games.
Watch the BO3 easter egg literally just be a way to end the cycle of the Shadows of Evil map like Mob of the Dead had in BO2
You better do an update video when BO3 impossible easter egg is revealed
5:45 If Master Chief’s services number is 117, why did they have to stand still for 111 seconds and not 117 seconds???
I bought Homefront 2 exclusively for Timesplitters!
There's a mod that deletes all of Homefronts files and creates a shortcut that starts directly into Timesplitters. LOVE IT!!!
Love your videos Jules, and always a positive message at the end, thank you.
Top 10 games that GOAT with sauce
I still want to see a list of side characters who did all the work
I’m pretty sure the megladon Easter egg in battlefield 4 on paracel storm was had help from the developers to discover
Top 10 iconic/creative game over(death) screens.
Skyrim has 2 much stuff to do in it that you may not even come across everything that’s in the game especially when enemies get tougher to deal with every time you level up
While I agree that there's a lot of stuff and you probably won't come across everything, I disagree that enemies become harder to handle as you level up. You should advance, have synergies... I tend to up the difficulty in later phases because it's no fun if groups of enemies basically drop dead when they see you. But maybe that's just me with my level grinding.
@@tubensalat1453 Skyrim later on is as easy or hard as you want it to be. Like there is literally a build where you can 1 spell cast nuke every enemy in entire dungeons standing at the entrance, or you can just not focus anything and run around with all of the most basic gear and the game's enemies on the default difficulty will still kill you a bunch.
@@morgantaylor84 What's the nuke build? I always thought magic sucked compared to conventional weapons.
Top 10 best cinematic shots or starting screens
There of course is the Batman Arkham asylum Easter egg for Arkham city in warden sharpe’s office when rocksteady got tired of us not finding it.
@YungAtz not a bad idea either. Apparently it’s what Ryan Reynolds did with the animated Deadpool test footage during ComiCon
Arkham City teaser in Arkham Assylum
The Cyberpunk Puzzle that still hasn't been fully solved
You left off
Fez: the black stone
Zelda a link to the past (SNES): the secrete coin room dedicated to the player who won some challenge.
Did someone named Chris Houlihan step forward sand say the room was for them?
video games that where extremely hard but you keep going back for more
9:33 MGS V came out on pc the same day as every other console though?!
How about a list of awesome boots from video games?
Going back to the original version of this topic, there's another that may qualify for this list. I don't know if the devs are the ones who revealed it, but it sure as hell was so convoluted I'd call BS on anyone who claims to have solved this on their own.
Obtaining the Archon class from Remnant 2. You have to have such a specific equipment load-out that it even includes specific classes/ class skills. How is anyone supposed to figure out you need these two guns, this melee weapon, this 4 piece armor set, these four rings, this amulet, these two classes, and these two skills on their own just to get the final class, a ring, and a fourth wall breaking amulet?
10 best villains to have as your boss.
Great Vid loved it
10 video game decisions which are bad no matter which one you picked
8 real life actors that make games way better like Giancarlo Esposito in FarCry6
big up to ya chief. much love
I genuinely Miss co-op on Grand Theft Auto. Me and my brother would play all the time good memories.
Wish devs would explain FF:06:B5 mystery in Cyberpunk 2077
Games you knew were broken but you had to finish anyway (Homefront, Cyperpunk 2077 for console, X-Com 2 on Playstation)
117 seconds not 111. Chiefs number is 117.
10 side quests better than the main story
we looked so hard
I thought me and my brother were the only ones who liked the multi-player for GTA:SA on PS2 after i found by accident. 😅
Would that secret room in Arkham Asylum not count?
Top Ten Fan Theories that became cannon please Jules please
Theories aren't cannons, though. You can't explode your enemies with theories.
10 best videos games that has a movie adaption.
1 game from each console off the last 3 gens that may need a remake
"8 Horribly implemented secrets and features developers left in the game" There I fixed your title
There are mods for Home front that removes the entire home front game leaving only Time splitters 2
games that need a villain pov campaign
Suggestion: Video games with no happy ending and i dont mean the massaga place happy ending.
I got that disarmament ending on PS4 in 2019 I don’t know how or if it was a bug I didn’t even it was a rare thing until I saw a video talking about it months later..I was living in NW Fl at the time
10 most badass bald guys in gaming
In respect to DDR, maybe because the song was called Memories, so they released it later, to make you go back and relive . . . . . Memories. 😂
"x franchises forsaken by the devs that definitely need to be continued/rebooted/remade"
list of Videogame world's with whole entire other worlds inside them.
111 seconds. I see you made that mistake on purpose. Got people to message. good on you my dude.
Video games where you are questing for an ultimate weapon/ mcguffin … Only to get to use it in the final boss fight / dungeon or worse… One time!
10 games where the protagonist is a moving disaster
Is that Mortarion hiding back there?
And the impossible easter egg is...!!
There was no easter egg, haha! Got you!
It's just a prank bro!!
How’s about video games we loved for a completely different reason that we thought.
Jules, you and your neck vein Jeremy know the drill: please create a list of Great RPGs for Working Adults.
You know what would be a really funny way to troll players, if the impossible easter egg in the last one was an actual easter egg, like literally 😆
That reminds me of the Easter Egg in the Futurama game. 😆 That's quite the Easter Egg story, too.
The most pyscadellic or fit inducing lvls in game
How about top ten “It was all a dream” games? Link’s Awakening, Ys VIII, games like that?
The bugs in a jar is so dumb. No point in collecting them.
1:59 you misspoke
8 items that only became important after hours of gameplay.
Hello Danny Boy miss seeing you in the edits
FOR A MOMENT THERE AT THE START I THOUGHT THAT WAS FACEBONES ON THE SHIRT
TimeSplitters 2...."One of the greatest FPS games OF ALL TIME!!!!!!" Why is it then, that you put other games, i.e. "Goldeneye" "F.E.A.R." above this franchise, and rarely mention it, if ever??? (You only mentioned it today in relation to another game!!)
Game modes we only played to get the achievements
How about the times video games caused you so much rage that you contemplated throwing your console out the window
List of games that have adorable animals but, deprived the player of being able to pet them :(
Times video game characters couldn't make obvious connections. Example: Zelda didn't make any connection between Ganondorf and The Calamity Ganon, despite the name and essence of his power.
Video games that got their developers in legal trouble
Protagonists who are actually villains!
That would be 117 seconds would it not?
Top 10 villains that were really just selfish instead of villainous.
7 video games whose level designs have aged badly
And then you only play Timesplitters 2 so you can play Anaconda
Is that a knight and a mortarion in the background
How about games you owned on entirely too many consoles? I’ve owned resident evil 4 on literally everything except elf the GameCube…
The easter will be that there was no easter egg
8 Atari/Coleco age games that deserve a remake
Videogame IP’s that improved/benefited after a studio/developer change.
10 npcs who most gamers know ..pleaseeeeeee
