Just to let you all know, the Good Day that the GTA trophy refers to is from Ice Cube's song "It Was a Good Day" and someone actually figured out that there was ONE DAY in history that fulfilled all the references in the lyrics. That day was January 20, 1992.
I got an Xbox achievement on High On Life for sitting through the countdown show, I also got the "Florida man" achievement on the third Borderlands game because i accidentally blew myself up with a grenade, put me closer to my Microsoft rewards goal
To this day the most ridiculous thing I did to pop an achievement / trophy is in borderlands. I'm one of the very few people who owns the my brother is an Italian plumber achievement which requires the player to jump on an enemy's head and kill them. It takes a long time to do because the jump damage isn't much and the game is asking the player to do something that isn't used for killing enemies. But that's all just a part of the classic borderlands humor that I love very much.

The craziest task I've seen in a videogame is the "my Kung Fu is stronger" trophy in mortal kombat 9. You need to spend 24 hours with each character and do 100 fatalities.
I didn't have an issue with the "Today Was a Good Day" achievement. I got it to pop while playing video poker in the Four Dragons casino. Video poker is one of the easiest ways to earn a lot of money quickly in San Andreas.
Actually, getting a friend who also plays that game and get them to go online at the same time is a tall order. It's easier with a game where they merely have to wield another controller but you still have to somehow convince them to come over to your house.

Oh, I have fun inclusion to this type of list. In the Japanese exclusive game Another Century's Episode R (a mecha crossover action game by From Software and Bandai Namco), there is a trophy called Last Chase, which requires playing the stage "The Two Songstresses" with every unit in the game. There are 55 playable units, the stage takes 15 minutes, and, fun trivia, that's almost entirely unskippable cutscenes with a minute or so of gameplay that you can't fail no matter how hard you try. That means you spend about 14 hours (including menu time) where you start the stage, go do something for 15 minutes, then replay the stage with the next unit on the list. Also you have to keep track of which units you use because the game has no built in indicator for which units have completed the stage. Also you have to have finished the full game 11 times to unlock all of the bonus units because they are required as well, and if like me you forgot which units you finished the stage with in those playthroughs, get ready to sit through all those repeat units when going for the trophy. Also ACE R is generally considered the worst game in the series and basically killed the series off, with the Gundam Unicorn game on PS3 actually taking mechanical inspiration from the PS2 ACE games instead of the PS3 one.
Quake 4. Theres an achievement for getting #1 on the leaderboard. The leaderboards are so high now the only possible way to obtain this is to perform a glitch that requires 8 people boosting in a CTF match where all but 2 people have to commit suicide 100 times and the person getting the leaderboard points needs to win the game with a spoecific amount of points
Here's a suggestion for a video, close to impossible tasks in games if not done or an updated video. For example; unlocking a border for your account for beating a game developer on an online match. I believe Injustice 2 has that task.
I fully expected "I Did This for a Cheavo" from Fable to be #1. It legit asks you to do some something bizarre (perform a headshot with a crossbow while dressed as a woman wearing a beard and a red wig)......or maybe this isn't a bizarre trophy. For all I know that's how Jules spends his Wednesdays.

This is unlocked by killing the adamantine golum without using the forge hammer. I immediately felt like an idiot after realizing that I could've killed the golum with significantly less effort 😅
In Conan Exiles you can aquire unlimited carry weight at the cost if being squishy, and low dps. But you can assassinate other players buy jumping on their head, and then take their stuff.
I'm surprised the pervert-based achievements aren't on here: Nier Automata- [ ] Look up 2B's skirt with the camera for this Lollipop Chainsaw - [ ] More Skirt shenanigans with camera Yakuza(I forget which game) - [ ] Watching an AV for a specific amount of time(I think?) Also: Nier Automata has one pop for eating a fish, and South Park The Fractured but Whole has one pop for farting in a nazi zombie baby's face(IIRC?)
2:05 final fantasy 9. It's only hard because square enix didn't fix it for modern TVs and wireless controllers. There's a certain amount of input lag on both and they didn't account for that. Play the original on a crt and it's a lot easier to do.
I'm sure they've added a bunch of new trophies in the years since I last played, but Tower of the Elephant was the one thing that kept me from achieving 100% completion in that game!
I have a few games that HAD ridiculously difficult achievements to unlock, and me being stupid put in all that time and effort and a gazilion reloads/restarts to get that one lucky run you need to get 1 part of the achievement done, only to have the developers come to their senses a year later, and make those same achievements easier (sometimes lots easier). Or have a ton of DLC paid for, only to see ALL that dlc suddenly be free in some anniversary release... at half price of the original price. Oh, gaming can be so much fun.... and extremely annoying! lol

For example like just tring to reassure your daughter in witcher 3 instead of starting inapropiete snowball fight whitch can led to game bed ending, or giving away a screw driver in Dark picture anthology ro other person just to watch one of our character crushed to death.

FFIX not only had Hail to the King, it also wanted you to kill 10k enemies. Most people, at end of game, wouldn't have even killed 1k
