Great video, thank you for making it! I took a long break from Star Wars and got back into it on May 4th this year.
After watching the original 3, including last Jedi in theater, I watched the prequel trilogy, and I was ok with watching the new trilogy, having never seen rise of skywalker
By the end I was felt so burned out and betrayed I couldn’t even start Andor, which I heard was good & was excited about. Thanks again for this video and listing all the great stories that these corporate punks have stolen and plundered for quick cash. I’m subscribed now ✅ have a good one!
You are not alone! Your experience is common! I’ve actually still not seen Rise of Skywalker. And hey if you want videos that REALLY put the hammer down on these corporate punks, then you’ve gotta check out a channel called Nerdrotic. That guy is great. That said, I’m super glad to have you here. Most of my videos will be discussing movies I enjoy. His videos are constantly turning up the heat on the corporations that sold our franchises down the river.
When I watch SW 7, I'm not feeling anything but a bit of combination of meh and annoyance. I just rewatch the OG week before. Seeing the Force Awakens really make me felt like I waste my time in theater. When I talk with my friends who watched it together, they liked the movie. When I went to internet, they liked the movie. Just keep it to myself until TLJ released. Watch TLJ and it's the first time I just feel bored and want to go home in the middle of the movie.

@@BigShotCritic I actually really hope Finn to be impactful, but I juat don't understand, he supposed to be trained since child to be stormtrooper, he wanted to quit being one after seeing death of both the people the empire attack and his teammate. But he went from stormtrooper -> happy go lucky + too attracted to rey so fast, and happy to kill other stormtroopers?!. Can't help to think how if finn is portrayed as conflicted confused cols ex-stormtrooper who's looking for his purpose, maybe he just learned what emotion is, he doesn't know why he quit being stormtrooper but he wanted to and build upon that, it will be interesting and not samey in my opinion. I also think the ep 7, not managed to build rey's characters, story, background and simply it's too easy for her, for the main character.
