When they killed Han in the force awakens that’s what my mind immediately went to. How in the world did they not have 1 scene with those three. It’s so stupid.

Every plot point has setup and payoff and it was so freaking brilliant. This is officially canon in my head for sure.. its crazy when your actually a fan of something and you care what can actually be done.. I’m so pissed of that Disney with all that money could have rules the world off of Star Wars but they chose the dark side.. you were my brother Annakin!!!
This is amazing! Having Rey as a Sith from the start is sooo good. I love how you can see Rey turning to the light side after feeling abandoned by Snoke while Ben turns to the dark side out of a desire for revenge, resenting Luke for showing mercy to Rey.
I would also be livid if Luke let my father die, just to go after some random dark Jedi. Ben handled the situation very well. I wonder if Luke will continues making more mistakes that push Ben towards the dark side.
We’re basically living in the WORST timeline when it comes to our favorite franchises. Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Terminator, Dr. Who, etc… Just a bunch of schlocky, moronic trash written by WoKe talentless hacks who couldn’t care less about respecting the source material. A travesty.
I watch episode vii in theaters, I think it was ok. Mediocre but OK. Then it's down hill from there. Not even Jedis can walk up that steep of a trench. But agree that this is league's better, and we maybe has a chance, they are remaking the Sequel Trilogy, right? I think it's a 1000 times better Idea then tweaking the originals to accommodate with the sequel... which are their first idea. It's just they didn't want to admit the Sequel needed to be thrown out. Now Kennedy is out with the idea of "tweaking" the original Trilogy out with the the rest of the pile.
Really gotta disagree. (Everyone's opinions are valid of course, I just disagree.) To me, this reads like the prequels... super boring, way too much focus on the politico-economic forces and factors-which should matter for depth of backstory, but shouldn't be the focus of the script. Also, the AI images are just awful. And... "anyways"?
This proves that our issue was never with characters or actors, it was with the narrative. You can tell an exciting new story with new characters, just don’t crap all over legacy characters to prop them up.
Rey as a powerful Sith would be my absolute Dream. Sith a naturally more powerful than Jedi. So having Rey be overpowered would be well within the Lore for a Sith lord.
@@ReveredDead If they really wanted Rey to be the big hero, then that is fine as long as they flesh out and develop her charecter along the way. She became a key member of the story without us getting hooked on her, we were all hooked on Fin instead. Rey being a powerful Sith does sound better though, however, I do not think they wanted that at all.
I can’t even emotionally express how much this gave me goosebumps. This IS the sequel trilogy. It has its own look and a different pattern than the previous two trilogies to keep it fresh
I got goosebumps too! It was like seeing Star Wars for the first time! TFA was ok. Just okay. No goosebumps. Nothing like this. I had a real emotional reaction to this narrative. Didn't realize how much I'd missed that feeling during the sequel trilogy until now.

I genuinely feel the same way. This honors the admirable people we saw these characters develop into. This generation of writers have a massive resentment at people who achieved competency and meaning through suffering. Their only accomplishment is in tearing down something beautiful for many of us. You really honored Han Solo in the opening sequence, I'm only 2:38 in and I already shed a tear for how you showed him to be an old hero dealing with his own insecurities and quest for a final purpose. Beautiful.
I have watched and read so much star wars material and man ..this ..this was something special ...the changes ..the story ..the visuals ..amazing ..the stakes ..I mean people who matter actually die at the earned moments ...thanks
Jay! Your words mean the world to me. I spent a lot of time considering how this story would play out if I was at the helm, and I really tried to do it in a way that respects the characters and the audience, so that character moments felt earned and authentic. Thank you for supporting the channel, consider sharing and subscribing Episode VIII is already being outlined.
I don't know what you do for a living, but it just floors me how someone randomly on youtube can create an infinitely better story than Disney who has endless resources. As a lifelong Star Wars fan from the 80s, I would have been so satisfied with this.
I took a screenwriting class back when I was in college and one of the things I learned was that conflict is drama, so the more the conflict the better the drama, and with this rendition of the force awakens you can sense that. The fact that you have this whole dynamic between Luke, Ben and Han as well as Poe in this father-son triangle conflict is compelling. Well done, hope you do the next two episodes.
I want to see StarwarsTheory’s reaction to this. I feel like he would freaking love this entire plot. Kudos to you. I wishhhhh this was actually episode 7. This is the story the fans deserved.
Dude you and me both. We're still SO SMALL. I have no idea how to get to him, other than blowing up his twitter lol. if you got any hints I am all ears.
Every script that wasn't touched by K. Kennedy, including JJ Abrams, was a really good work with a lot of thought put into it. JJ wanted to go with the G.Lucas script at first but was open to new ideas and came up with two really good stories. The first one never got completed and the tlj script, which was written to improve on the lack of story the first had, were both completely scrapped. Tlj was the last straw for JJ, cus he wrote a really good story and worked his ass off doing it, then KK comes along and even tried to destroy every copy of it. Sorry coffee lady, didn't anyone teach you nothing stays buried. Doomcock got his hands on an unpolished version but it's basically the same. Lukes green lightsaber crystal comes into it. But what the hell 🤷🏻♂️ who needs great and competent writing when you can come up with randomly overpowered girls and contradicting scenes with no explanation.
@@Freezetyle Nope, it doesn't. Midjourney generates images, not stories. Elevenlabs is text to speech and voice cloning, not text generation. While it may be possible they used something like ChatGPT to generate (parts of) the storyline, there is no indication that they did so, hence no reason to claim they did. Unless you happen to have inside information we're not privy to.
While still being a great inversion of the previous films, like they attempted with the Sequel Trilogy. Keeping things like Han's death, but giving it weight in the story. This feels almost like a heavy-handed (but necessary) edit of the ST rather than just a whole new attempt. I really appreciate that there is still some DNA of the ST.
I don't know why you don't have a billions views... this is amazing. The move to make Rey evil or at least on evil's side from the start is an incredibly smart decision. We've never seen someone on the darkside change...except for one final moment with Vader. Rey is perfect for this role, a dark/lost chosen one having a choice to change is new, and very very relevant right now. This... this is how you upset a status quo. Now there is no 'Mary Sue' complaint. Her abilities and legacy make her competency perfectly logical and still mysterious at her introduction. And to top it off... we get the female darksider/Sith we have never seen in a film before... glorious! Finn's treatment is also serious and not a joke. His character matters to the plot and isn't just a token ignored and forgotten as he is for half of the new trilogy. And then the resentment from Ben to his father is much more compelling, adding Poe as the son he wanted as opposed to the Ben the son who he never understood is just... chefs kiss.
DUDE this is such high praise. I am so happy you resonated with the material. I care so much about this project and hoped it would resonate in this way. I wanted to make the new characters feel necessary and position the legacy characters in a way that was respectful of their struggle while still leaving room for them to pass on the torch. Starting to break story on Episode 8 this weekend so please hang tight. I got a lot of work ahead of me.
@@prismstories You did incredibly well with your Midjourney images! I'm surprised you were able to get such consistent results without training a DM locally. It actually gives me more hope for my own Midjourney creations until I can make the switch to a local diffusion model with my own training data.
This was fucking FANTASTIC. I felt more emotional depth in Han’s death just from these AI generated images and your reading voice than I did with the entirety of TFA. You also essentially kept all of the major plot elements of the ST while giving them more meaning and reason. 10/10, leagues beyond what we actually got.
This was truly amazing. I was on the edge of my seat! This "What If?" is incredible and I hope you redo Last Jedi. One of my favorite parts was 23:52 . This is the Luke Skywalker we know. Even though he has just lost his best friend and is facing Han's killer in his eyes, He lowers his weapon and does not kill her. "This is not the jedi way" I am so thankful you made this, these 25 minutes were better than the entire sequel trilogy and I can't wait to see what you do next!
Thank you Space Walker, the response to this video has truly been overwhelming. I’m starting to break story on 8. It’s going to be a tough one but hope I can do it justice
We need the next episode! This was so good. A.I. is getting to a point to where we are going to get a full trilogy with cinematic realness. If Disney wont fix what they have destroyed, the fans will!!!
I am really liking the rework on Rey’s character. I actually really like her as a Sith, and you managed to make her competent, mysterious, conflicted, sexy, and feminine all in one. Bravo!
I'm a 46 year old lifelong SW fan and I must say this is brilliant. I really hope you make parts 8 and 9 and will be checking back with excitement and anticipation that I haven't felt since leading ul to the first thing Disney released.
Literally amazing, PURE STARWARS! Political tension, rise of authoritarianism and showing of bureaucratic regimes, always classic epic battles and amazing characters 10/10!!!
I’ve got to admit, I actually got goosebumps at the end there. Can you imagine how insane with anticipation the fandom would have become if Ep. 7 really ended like that? Truly an excellent job all around. Cannot wait for 8 & 9 to come out. I’ll play all 3 together on my TV and pretend the real 7,8,9 never existed. I especially need a TLJ remake to get that abomination out of my memory. You got one more subscriber here!
Oh... my...Han's death actually gave me chills and had me tearing up. That was SO MUCH BETTER. And I LOVE that you made Rey the Sith. It's perfect. This was amazing. I'm subbing for the rest.
Thanks man! I love that moment too. it's heart breaking, and gives our characters a personal grudge match against the antagonist as opposed to just a mysterious threat. I thought it would be more impactful for his friends and family to actually be upset by his death rather than two characters who knew him for less than a few days lol.
I hope this blows up. This was really well done. This fixes all the shortcomings of EPVII while not throwing everything out the window. Switching Ben and Rey vastly improves the story and wasn't even something I knew I wanted until now.
This is literally a 1000 times better than what we got. Heart. Soul. Everything. Bless you. I love this. Even teared up a little after Kylo's defeat and arm loss and Luke came to rescue/comfort him. NEVER STOP WRITING. You are better than Hollywood.
I’ve seen multiple Stars Wars fans post videos like this online with their versions of the sequels. And they have all been 100% better than the garbage Disney gave us. How is it a multi billion dollar company can’t get Star Wars right. Yet someone online can. It baffles me how incompetent Disney is and how Disney handled the sequels.
Really it boils down to a business mandate. Disney acquires a property and immediately starts developing a slate and release dates without a ton of planning for the substance of those release dates instead of doing it the way artists approach material which is develop an entire story first and then work towards production and release.
Its simple. The people of Disney are not fans. They dont know the characters, they dont know the story. All they want is to put their ideology into already established IPs (because they cant make anything new worth watching based on their beliefs).
Only 9 minutes in and I love it. Which means there's nothing wrong with Ben, Finn, Poe or Rey, just disastrous storytelling and marketing. Good job man!
This was just brilliant. You have captured the identity and essence of Star Wars. I am so angry this is not the story we got. The scale, heart and pure character depth that is being demonstrated is so inspiring.
I, too, felt almost a primal rage against the fools who ruined our heroes by writing nihilistic drivel fueled by no belief in the power of the true masculine and what really makes the feminine strong. THIS is what I would absolutely add after watching Star Wars in the Machete Order. Terrific stuff.
You people drool over every sh_t you find on youtube, don't you? To read this comment section is just idiotic, so much dumb praise. Because you know what? Jarjar Abrams and Rian Johnson got a lot of praise which was equally dumb, too. It makes mediocre artists go megalomaniac. His story might be better than what Disney made, but still needs a lot of work before it could be considered good. Raise your standards a bit, ffs.
I swear to God! You had me standing in ovation. That was AMAZING!! OMG!! Why couldn't this have been the story? Please finish the trilogy. Brilliant work! You have put Disney to shame. Literally, a million times better than the crap JJ spewed out. Thank you! For those 30 mins you restored my childhood, if only momentarily. Thank you!
Thanks Inspector. I felt like it only makes sense for the new characters to be involved with the lives of the legacy characters. Makes the passing of the torch feel more natural
Wow! Ben was exactly like Anakin in his younger days...always jumping into action. Luke is exactly how he should've been. Story clearly explains how a new power came, overthrew the new Republic & put the galaxy into a state of chaos & fear. Thank you for giving us the episode 7 we deserve. Pls make the sequels too ❤
Actually getting to know Ben Solo in his prime is great. I like that he is written a bit different than Anakin too. While Anakin had been manipulated and seduced to the dark side by Sheev Palpatine since he was a child and by his wanting power to save his wife, Ben turns more because he wants revenge on the Sith for what they did to his father and slowly letting that blind him. Same circumstances, different reasons and that way, Ben mirrors his grandfather and yet is not a copy of him.
@@ivy3041 As a treatment, a story outline, it good. But's it not a script and there are plenty or rough edges. That said, it knocks seven shades of shite out of the Disney film.
11:17 Actually a really good line, as it harkens back to what Anakins mother said to him when he left Tatooine. He now passes on such advice to his own child.
I feel a deep relief wash over me. This heals a wound that has been there since the trilogy completed, an empty void where the mythology of my childhood was fumbled and cheapened. You f’n nailed this. This will forever exist in my inner multiverse of Star Wars. As a lover of the books when I was a kid, I hold all kinds of possible outcomes that never became cannon. So, this is just as much true as any of the other contributions to my inner universe from Star Wars lovers over the years. This was easily one of my favorites. I absolutely loved this. Please keep doing what you’re doing!
Han's death actually made me more emotional in this video than in TFA. Brilliant story and only the beginning of a revolution! AI will change the potential of fanfiction forever in a way that Hollywood will become obsolete.
This story and this series, are 100% better across the board than what we received from Disney. This is an amazing story!! Engaging all the way through! BRAVO! BRAVO!! BRAVO!!!
This was spectacular. So much more character depth, and Han’s death actually means something!!!! His reply to Ben totally got to me. The OT characters slowly handing off the story in a natural way to the new ones 👌 And I’m so intrigued by Rey’s journey and continued arc now. Really well done, thank you for giving us such a great story!

The "what does your heart tell you" comment gave me a pang in all the feels. Throwback to Shmi saying it to Anakin, and now Anakin says it to Luke. Damn! This was fantastic, thank you for sharing your vision 🤝
Wow! Just wow! This is the best what if I’ve seen! Luke is the badass we all know and love. Han is mourned properly and Leia is as competent as ever! Well done!
I would have killed for a "There is much of you in him." to Anakin about Ben, for once complimenting Anakin for his connection to things and not Vader's.
I was instantly engaged and loved every second of this. Beautifully written and true to Star Wars. How the flip flap we didn’t get anything close to this level of quality is embarrassing for Disney. Subbed and looking forward to the next parts if you choose to.
I just got to the moment when Ben asks Fin what it was like to grow up in an imperial camp and he showed him his scares....SO GOOD! The motivation from this is visceral! Ive seen a couple interviews about Star Wars being rebooted/re-imagined....this makes it feel very exciting. So well done, in my opinion.
rebooted?, as from the beggining again? with the right people in charge they could completely fix the errors of the prequels and replace the sequels with something worth watching (heir to the empire would be amazing)
I LOVE this. Bringing Luke, Han, and Leia back together was one of the biggest missed opportunities that we’ll never be able to correct now… I really like your Filoni-esque approach to using the best of the old EU canon, while modifying it with the new elements presented in the The Force Awakens, instead of literally scrapping everything and creating a confusing unexplained new reality with little to no lore to back things up. Beautiful, man! Great job. Looking forward to your next installments with great anticipation.
DUDE, this was PHENOMENAL. I've read, heard from others and even imagined for myself how the sequels could have been soo much better, but THIS takes the cake, easily. Fantastic work, compelling story/suspense and believable character development. I hope you can complete the rest of the trilogy!

You did a tremendous job of unifying the Prequel and OT aesthetic, incorporating the Sequel characters, and making all of the relationships much more meaningful with just a few slight re-calibrations. And, I get heavy EU/Dark Horse vibes from this, realizing how cinematic so many of those Legends stories were and how I long to see them on screen. Hat's off to you, would love to see Eps. 8 & 9.
And thank you Jeff for your support and Fandom. we're all here because we love this universe and crave stories that feel meaningful, regardless of what the franchise managers plans are.

God. Damn. I don't think I have enough words to describe how enraptured I was listening to this remade version of The Force Awakens. Everything about it felt so genuine to what made Star Wars: *Star Wars*. I want to rant about how much I love every detail of this new story but i'll settle for saying that this 25 minute video gave me more enjoyment than the last near decade of Disney Star Wars. Please keep up the good work!
I loved this. I was actually super interested in the direction this was going and I loved the setting so much. The successful Jedi Order, the promising young Ben, the Fallen Rey, and Luke trying to do the most good he can. I wish this was the story we got

Keep going mate, this will bring us fans, and you, joy to our hearts and to our inner child that has been with Star Wars since ever... A hug in the force, my friend... MTFBWY... Always...
Some interesting ideas here. I definitely prefer the main crew being together and Rey starting as an enemy and Ben starting as a good guy. And I like the idea of it starting with a tenuous peace.
This is now my head canon. Thank you for making this. We deserved so much better than what we got, and this is as close as we'll ever see to what could have been. Thank you again.
Wow, the trio together, a great plot, great ai artwork, and throwing in the Starforge at the end from KotoR was unexpected. Absolutely marvelously done.
Seriously on the verge of tears from the emotions this brings, for both the moving story, the connected plot points and of course the fact that this story was not made. I suppose the upside to AI movies in the next couple of years, we'll be able to enjoy this as a full 110m movie! Thank you so much for this. Here's hoping you bring us 8 & 9. The redemption story arc of Rey would make me care for her!!!
Watching this gave me mixed feelings, joy and deep sadness. How a fan can make something a million times better than professionals at the biggest entertainment enterprise in the world is beyond me. Thank you for the sequels we truly deserved!❤
Anything would be better than the garbage we were fed, but this is exceptional. Keep pushing this, man, you never know when your break is going to happen. This is truly a New Hope.
ok this is pretty good. Waaaaaaaay better than what we got. Rey, Ben, Finn and Poe are very interesting. Luke, Leia and Han are still awesome, but you can gradually see the story shifting to the newer characters. The Disney Sequels team (especially the producer) could really learn a thing or two. I would have like to have seen Corellia as Hans Burial place. Maybe it would have been made a better planet as a place that rallied around Hans transformation from rouge thug to War Hero. But this whole thing was really good.
I love how gritty and focused the art direction is for this. So balanced and honest on how real a power vacuum would actually look like when the Imperial structure of resources and technology is eliminated. Everything would have to face a sort of "black mirror" of the aftermath. Crime, medieval culture and religious intuition would return. And the Skywalkers would once again place themselves to face the fate of not only the universe but the power and mystery of the force itself. Damn you Kathleen, you failed us all. Blinded by your own ego and fear. We all watched you fall. And now we fans of GEORGE LUCAS STAR WARS have the high ground!
@@ZachBroom I'm agreeing with the OP, who used the phrase "actual writers". You get it! Part 2 in the works.
I would also be livid if Luke let my father die, just to go after some random dark Jedi.

Holy crap, that was a million times better than what we actually got. I wish we could rewind time and have this guy write episode 7.
On behalf of the Temporal Excellence Agency, we did better. We sent Timothy Zahn back there to write Heir To The Empire.
Disney didn't listen.
We’re basically living in the WORST timeline when it comes to our favorite franchises. Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Terminator, Dr. Who, etc…
Just a bunch of schlocky, moronic trash written by WoKe talentless hacks who couldn’t care less about respecting the source material.
And... "anyways"?
This is what happens when a lifelong Star Wars fan and not feminist sjws write a Star Wars story

If they really wanted Rey to be the big hero, then that is fine as long as they flesh out and develop her charecter along the way. She became a key member of the story without us getting hooked on her, we were all hooked on Fin instead.

I can feel the love for the characters in this. It's wonderful.
Blows my mind man. Disney hires people based on politics, they don’t look for the best in the industry anymore.
kinda true
Its simple. The people of Disney are not fans. They dont know the characters, they dont know the story. All they want is to put their ideology into already established IPs (because they cant make anything new worth watching based on their beliefs).

I like the fact that Ray is actually trained and it makes more sense than her just being born a super hero
Absolutely LOVE this!! It makes so much more sense this way
This is now my head canon. Thank you for making this. We deserved so much better than what we got, and this is as close as we'll ever see to what could have been. Thank you again.
I hope Disney just runs with this, holy cow would that be easy and great
@@manfredhamI hope Disney goes bankrupt
Wow, the trio together, a great plot, great ai artwork, and throwing in the Starforge at the end from KotoR was unexpected. Absolutely marvelously done.
Thanks man!!!
Sorry, But glad you enjoyed
The writing in this is 100% better than the slop we were given.
This is EXACTLY how 7 should have gone. So dang good!!! Very well done. You should definitely do 8 and 9. Please?!
Anything would be better than the garbage we were fed, but this is exceptional. Keep pushing this, man, you never know when your break is going to happen. This is truly a New Hope.
This is the closure I needed. Thank you
ok this is pretty good.
This is the single greatest video I have ever watched… how could a bunch of actual writers not even come close to this
Wow. What a complement! Thanks
Because Wokism is a disease
Don't confuse vocational writing with good storytelling.
@@helmanfrow what do you mean?
@@ZachBroom I'm agreeing with the OP, who used the phrase "actual writers". I'm taking a cynical stance and suggesting that these days a talented writer is more likely to be found on TH-cam than in a major studio.
What makes a writer "actual"? PRISM is an "actual" writer. The people who wrote the studio movies are actually terrible writers.
I'm feeling more emotion for Han's death here than I ever did in the actual movie. What could have been 😞
Now this is the kinda use of AI tech that I can get behind. Great artwork & a truly well crafted Star Wars story, possibly the best ep7 fan fic I’ve watched/read, and I must’ve watched/read most if not all of them over the last 7 years.
I hope you’re pouring the same amount of love & care into continuing & concluding your story as you obviously did in creating it. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you’ve got instore for your versions of these beloved characters.
Truly well done & Thanks for sharing with us 🙏🏻
oh man Hobbzee you're going to get me emotional. I've been working towards writing professionally for the better part of 5 years and haven't been able to catch a break. with Covid and now the writers strike its been supper tough, but you and the other folks who have enjoyed this stuff has meant the world in an otherwise challenging time in my personal life. Thank you for being here.
@@prismstories Keep your chin up man! Choosing a career in the arts can often be challenging & not always as instantly gratifying as we'd like it to be, but you've obviously got a keen eye for storytelling & more importantly pacing, which for me is often the difference between a good story & a great story. Just keep at it. Write whatever you can, whenever you can as when paired with hard work, true talent rarely goes unrewarded 👍
P.s. even more excited for your next episode since you announced the runtime clocks in @ over 40 mins 😲👏👏
