What If Star Wars: The Force Awakens Was Awesome?

  • This is a hypothetical rewrite of the 2015 film, Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens. We incorporated the use of generative A.I technology such as MidJourney and ElevenLabs.
35 years after the fall of the empire, the galaxy has entered an age of unparalleled peace and prosperity. Leia Organa has worked tirelessly for years brokering peace treaties and trade agreements for old systems to re-form the galactic republic. A job she has been superb at for decades. But there is one last system that wants to reestablish trade. THE IMPERIAL REMNANT. A campaign Leia is staunchly in opposition of and threatens everything her husband Han Solo, and brother, Luke Skywalker worked so hard to build.
Before the Emperor's death, he created a contingency trust to furnish his most loyal supporters and military leaders with significant financial resources, as well as a small cluster of some of the most resource-rich planets in the galaxy so that his legacy could endure. Resources that would substantially aid in the new republic's humanitarian efforts as they attempt to root out the last remnants of crime and piracy syndicates in the galaxy. And rebuild worlds that were ravaged by the empire.

But agree that this is league's better, and we maybe has a chance, they are remaking the Sequel Trilogy, right? I think it's a 1000 times better Idea then tweaking the originals to accommodate with the sequel... which are their first idea. It's just they didn't want to admit the Sequel needed to be thrown out. Now Kennedy is out with the idea of "tweaking" the original Trilogy out with the the rest of the pile.

Every script that wasn't touched by K. Kennedy, including JJ Abrams, was a really good work with a lot of thought put into it. JJ wanted to go with the G.Lucas script at first but was open to new ideas and came up with two really good stories. The first one never got completed and the tlj script, which was written to improve on the lack of story the first had, were both completely scrapped. Tlj was the last straw for JJ, cus he wrote a really good story and worked his ass off doing it, then KK comes along and even tried to destroy every copy of it. Sorry coffee lady, didn't anyone teach you nothing stays buried.
Doomcock got his hands on an unpolished version but it's basically the same. Lukes green lightsaber crystal comes into it.

I don't know why you don't have a billions views... this is amazing. The move to make Rey evil or at least on evil's side from the start is an incredibly smart decision. We've never seen someone on the darkside change...except for one final moment with Vader. Rey is perfect for this role, a dark/lost chosen one having a choice to change is new, and very very relevant right now.
This... this is how you upset a status quo. Now there is no 'Mary Sue' complaint. Her abilities and legacy make her competency perfectly logical and still mysterious at her introduction. And to top it off... we get the female darksider/Sith we have never seen in a film before... glorious!
Finn's treatment is also serious and not a joke. His character matters to the plot and isn't just a token ignored and forgotten as he is for half of the new trilogy.
And then the resentment from Ben to his father is much more compelling, adding Poe as the son he wanted as opposed to the Ben the son who he never understood is just... chefs kiss.

ok this is pretty good. Waaaaaaaay better than what we got. Rey, Ben, Finn and Poe are very interesting. Luke, Leia and Han are still awesome, but you can gradually see the story shifting to the newer characters. The Disney Sequels team (especially the producer) could really learn a thing or two. I would have like to have seen Corellia as Hans Burial place. Maybe it would have been made a better planet as a place that rallied around Hans transformation from rouge thug to War Hero. But this whole thing was really good.

I love how gritty and focused the art direction is for this. So balanced and honest on how real a power vacuum would actually look like when the Imperial structure of resources and technology is eliminated. Everything would have to face a sort of "black mirror" of the aftermath.
Crime, medieval culture and religious intuition would return. And the Skywalkers would once again place themselves to face the fate of not only the universe but the power and mystery of the force itself.

I am not a huge Star Wars fan and I was dragged to watch the Last Jedi by a friend who loves the franchise back when it came out in 2017. I rented The Force Awakens the day before in order to get ready for the 2nd episode of the new trilogy and thought it was a serviceable popcorn flick. Nothing crazy good, very predictable, but overall entertaining. When we left the theater after seeing TLJ, my friend was DISTRAUGHT. The way that movie affected her was heartwrenching. She pointed out to me all the inconsistencies, how the characters were not acting like themselves, how incredibly stupid the story was. As a someone who didn't grow up with the original movies, I obviously wasn't much affected by it, but I sympathized with her so much, because I could only imagine how I would've felt if the same treatmend had been reserved to a franchise that was near and dear to my heart.
My friend deserved better. The Star Wars fans all over the world deserved better. Heck, even I, a casual viewer, deserved fucking better.
For what it's worth, you have my deepest simpathies and it's great to see fans creating their own content and come together in the name of the things they love.

Wow! I don't have the words. This is exactly what a Star Wars movie should be. Can't wait to hear the rest of it. Disney, are you paying attention!?

This is excellent! If only we could have had this type of quality story, characters, and emotions! Please more of this quality content. This is the story we were waiting for all of these years since Episode IV set us on this journey so long ago.

I was absolutely enthralled by this storytelling. And then you said the Star Forge and I nearly died on the spot. Disney needs to take notes.

For real it's like the perfect evolution of the Empire building ridiculously large weapons without it being yet another Death Star.

Absolutely amazing! This video made me so much more emotional than anything in the sequel trilogy. This is what we should’ve got for the force awakens. Will you do videos for the last Jedi and the rise of skywalker?

H O L Y S H I T. I thought this is just gonna be another fanfic (well, it sorta is) but the amount of plot thinking, the emotional play, the canonity is superb. I've watched many episode vii fanfics, but this one takes it.

I just finished watching your video and I have to say this is a master piece. The ending gave me chills. And this version of ep 7 is 1000 times better than disney's version. Han solo's death in this is 100 times more better and emotional than in disney's version. And I like how Luke's jedi order wasn't wasted and most importantly, I like how Luke, Han, and leia were treated in this version. Poe was better in this than in disney's version. It is funny how you made rey a sith lord and I really liked Ben Solo in this. This video deserves 10 M views and if you are planning to do a ep 8, I can't wait for it.

Absolutely Brilliant this was the story i wish we had that took us back to the galaxy far far away. The level story details, call backs, family, tragedy and heroics that made feel like a kid again well done in every way i cannot wait for the next episode 🙌👏

This is 100,000x better than the crock of crap Disney put out. How I wish the original Lucas storyline was followed, even if loosely.

Agreed. I don't know how I feel about an elderly Maul returning would have worked but I am sure it could have been pretty sweet.
