I have used this on my .22LR and it works brilliantly. I have the new muzzle break and barrel tuner on test and so far it’s amazing. I am blown away how good these work .
Very good review. I have a couple of springers (HW97K and HW98) with FX barrel tuners on them. Once I found the pellet, head size, and skirt size that the gun shoots the best I then mount the barrel tuner. In both guns the tuner reduces the shot groups by about 1/3rd. When fine tuning I found that the shot groups will get larger and smaller over about 10 tick marks. To get the final setting I could see the difference over a 3 tick mark adjustment. I use 10 shot groups for each test because sometimes you will get 2 or 3 flyers out of 10 and after adjusting the tuner they disappear. You won't always see flyers when shooting 3 and 5 shot groups. Because my guns are FAC rated it makes for a great workout. I think that tuners are great on springers because once you find the pellet your gun prefers nothing changes. For PCP guns if you change any setting on your gun you will need to retune. Have fun with your testing.
Hi Peter! Thanks for this tip. I have now order this part and wait to test it. Sorry for late.. but A Very Mary Christmas and a Happy New year! Best wishes /Rolf
Hi Rolf That sounds great. Please tell me more about your experiences when you have tested it properly. Best wishes and a Merry Christmas and a happy newyear to you and your family 🙂

Hey Peter - great video again ! Do you have a sense of whether the muzzle brake or the harmonic tuner is more effective for improving consistency & accuracy? Or does the colder weather conditions in this video somewhat invalidate a comparison ? Very informative & enjoyable videos.
Hey man 🙂 I think that the cold weather does effect the accuracy and remembering that I have only used both the barrel tuner and the muzzle brake for a very short time I believe that I have not experienced the true potential of them both. Having shot the M3 for a long time now and having fine tuned it so much its difficult to compare to an item that I just started using. But with the results of them both I really believe that there is an improvement to achieve using them both. Or let me say it like this - if I was to go into a competition (wich will never happen 😂) I would go much more into both to explore the true potential 🤓
@@nonickname6154 Taking into consideration that the Panthera is clamped at the end of the plenum is has very little free floating barrel. And the fact that so much is going on around the barrel from breach to the muzzle, I imagine that it has some quite "interesting" vibrations, so trying to control them with a barrel tuner might be a bit of a challenge. But the muzzle brake will defenately do a fine job👍👍 I have seen quite a few people shooting the Panthera without the shroud. This would be interesting with the muzzle brake 😎
Hi Peter - I think I will test one on my Impact. Right now the Huma harmonic tuner plus the FX “moderator” that comes with the Impact, together measure 18.5cm in length. The new EV combined Harmonic Tuner + Muzzle Brake + Air stripper measures “only” 9 cm - so that’s a significant length reduction from 18.5 to 9cm, thereby making the rifle more agile. That’s my reasoning anyway 😊 Regards Nick
@@nonickname6154 If our laws around moderators were different I would go for the same one from Eagle Vision. It really makes sense! Might go through the whole show and apply for an import permit at some point 😃
A good review or demonstration would have been to shoot groups without the tuner and then compare the results to see if the tuner is worth the headache. Thanks for the review though I like the videos
Thanks Antony 🙂 It would have given a different perspective to compare like that🙂 I try to explain in the video that the groups are roughly the same with/without the barrel tuner, but given that I basically just mounted it and started shooting, I think it did a pretty good job. And with a determined effort over an extended period Im sure that it would perform even better😎 So with a gun that is always set up the same way shooting the same ammo it makes very good sense 😎
Its so funny - Im just working on a video: M3 vs Panthera 😀 SO many has been asking the question wich one is the best or what to choose. You will like it 😉
Thanks for the video Peter. It will be interesting to see if the settings change as temperature rises, all other variables kept the same. atb Neil.

Distance?
It is well explained in the video - 58 m...
I dont understand why for instance Huma dont have something like that build in on the first stage on their moderators, seem simple to me.
