Hey Micha, once you get your new shafts you will be shocked. I went thru my whole bag at TXG in Toronto last season(anyone in Dallas who goes to Stripeshow will not regret it). No lesson, Handicap dropped from a 3 to a scratch. As you know it is not how good your good shots are, it is how good your bad shots are. My GIR went up by 2 after the proper fitting of shafts to me. Again really looking forward to seeing your play when this is done. Keep up the videos and hit em straight. The putting fit on their Quintec blew my mind and I was an above average putter before the fitting, buckle up man you are about to go low !!
I'd like to see more of this. I'm a numbers nerd, even though I'm not that good. This shows how good a ball striker you are, and how a professional fitting can help you get better.
Let this be a lesson for all you watching, those Golf Tech "fittings" were totally abnormal. This is what a real fitting should look like. This dude really knows his stuff, very impressed.
@@golfr_vlogs6255 I haven't heard this before, but I haven't done research on graphite shaft use in irons, can you explain? Also nobodies perfect. But I stand by that this fitting was wayy better than the ones at GolfTech.
@@golfr_vlogs6255 hmmmm... I would think in general terms as he is speaking would be true. However, tip stiffness, torque, weight, balance point, etc. can be changed much more readily with graphite to fit each player's needs.

hey man, really cool seeing you get fit. would enjoy watching the putter version. also, i recommend getting an outdoor fitting with premium balls, especially for someone with your swing speed and your ambitions. hitting off of mats messes with things like spin and launch angle, so your numbers are not going to be 100% dialed in. and indoor launch monitors obviously have limitations since they don't capture total ball flight. this is coming from someone with similar swing speed who's blessed to have access to indoor trackman. :)

Tig I recently did a putter fitting ... a bit like Jake mentioned in video ... it’s astounding how much I have improved ... the data showed I needed a toe hang putter. Of the 6 toe hang’s I tried it came back showing that the Taylor Made Spider was the best for me... my putting has gone to a new level! It’s the one club we use the most and I wish I had been fitted properly earlier in my golfing life... don’t hesitate go for it, you won’t regret it!
Great informative video! I just regripped my clubs and was going to shorten them by 1/2 inch. Didn't realize I would have changed the lie angle. Cannot wait to see your rounds out on the course.
I use to fit golf clubs for 10 years at 2 different big box retailers and at a big 4 golf brand on the fitting van. I actually got laid off last year due to covid bcs they froze the traveling fitting program. Here is the way i would fit my own golf clubs for lie angle. I would take each club and individually check lie angle with lie tape on a lie board. I would simultaneously hit golfballs with a vertical line drawn on golfball to cross reference results and check ball patterns on face. (Sometimes lie board doesn't tell full story). I would hit 2-3 balls, go to the bending machine, make the adjustment, and then repeat the process. Sometimes i would make a 2nd bend and repeat. I would do this until when i hit the ball in the center, my sole mark would be dead center on the bottom, i would hit the ball on the center of the face, and the sharpie line on the ball would create a perfectly perpendicular line in the club face from the grooves. I would then do this process for every single club. Then I would go hit range and look at divots, which pretty much everytime they would be rectangular and even through hell to toe. If you do this, u will be amazed at how many golfballs you can consistently start on your target line without even thinking about it. The entire 2d upright (whatever lie angle) for your whole set thing makes no sense bcs every club has a different lie angle between brands and sets, quality control, and the fact that u might change ur swing/stance for short irons or long irons. Idk my lie angle, but I know i am 62.5 degrees on my 7i when it is at 37.25" in length. I am around 1d upright on my ping blueprints and cobra king forged mb's, but 2.5 upright on my Miura tournament blades due to what they consider std lie angles. Also, I tend to crowd the ball more with wedges, so i am about .5d more upright from std then I would be on a 7i. If you are a decent ball striker (single digit handicap) i recommend doing it this way
Quintic system is the best there is! I just got fit for a putter using that system yesterday. It's data that you can't get from something like the SAM putt lab. Good video and glad to see you get fit, however fitting lie angle using lie board is now regarded as bad method. A lie board can “lie”. The best method would be the line ball test, drawing a line on the ball with a sharpie, then seeing on the face any angle you may have.
Micha, think about what Kyle is trying to hit with his driver. He is trying to hit a pull fade every time he plays golf. Why? because it is predictable and makes his targeting easier. Think about that distribution you had with the one shaft of 8ft L/R and 10 ft/B/F. That is serious good for targeting. It looked like a push/baby fade. With your distance that is a killer shot. I think a lot of your viewers may have missed when the owner said(if I remember correctly) that is your hook! and it was dead straight. When you eliminate one side for a miss your confidence will sky rocket and you will just swing freely which is what we all chase I have a 19 degree hybrid I can't hit left, I mean I can't hit it left. When I step on it hard it is a bullet straight or a one dimple fade THANK YOU fitting and technology You are going to giggle but also be mad at yourself for not doing this earlier once you get out and play with you new toys

I'm not surprised the Modus performed well in your hands, though I would expected the X100 to fare a bit better. Did you try the X7 by any chance?
Keep up the good work and God bless!
Thank you for the feedback and for the support!!
I play those very same modus shafts 120x they are super good and stable shafts!
For sure do the putting fit man!
When you eliminate one side for a miss your confidence will sky rocket and you will just swing freely which is what we all chase
I have a 19 degree hybrid I can't hit left, I mean I can't hit it left. When I step on it hard it is a bullet straight or a one dimple fade THANK YOU fitting and technology
You are going to giggle but also be mad at yourself for not doing this earlier once you get out and play with you new toys
You always want to improve putting, so anything you can get to help will improve your overall scoring. So definitely want to get that putting looked at. Fitting your irons will also improve your overall scoring. Happy to see you dialing in your equipment, better scores are ahead to be sure.
Micah you’re the man bro
Interesting numbers, definitely going to help improve your game!
Been waiting on this Tig, thanks for dropping
Micah that was a great video. You should get fitted for the driver next. I’m curious to know how much they charge. I got my whole bag fitted by club champion in Plano, Tx. Getting fitted truly does make a huge difference. You don’t want buy anything off the rack once you have been fitted correctly. Enjoy the new shafts!
Swing weighting and the right shafts can do wonders.
