Topic: over 60 but not too bad off, just a few accumulated injury/changes routine work out with a general encouragement timeline, set to a reasonable pace, ie a demonstration 20 minutes or a bit less someone can put on to watch and hear whilst mirroring the sets. Target loosening hammys, calves, feet & ankles with stretch bands & ankle board, neat and tidy routine that can be done x 2 a day. Will put to the top of my playlist 🤩

Less is for the most part the best solution! Having said that: the "edit-skill" is waaaay off. Therefor, the Video is toooooo busy & overcrowded/over-packed w/ a lot of images. The massage itself though is good & informative!

@@Laura-hk4th check out Jason Fung for a well rounded info pack source for healing the whole body. In brief, he helps people train into intermittent fasting then total fasting. Why this? A great deal of pain and tissue injury is caused by eating several times a day for weeks on end. We are designed to have good food with only two or thee intakes a day, maximum and surprise surprise, by not eating for 2 or 3 days at a time (I'm still working up to this) our body internally scrubs off all the excess and damaged tissues. As healthy eating resumes (natural veg, moderate meats, natural fats zero sugar zero flour, processed carbs etc skipping milk except a bit or enjoy some cheese, you get the idea) 2 to 3 meals - stop around evening, just water or black coffee, tea etc til after noon so more than 12 hours a day no food.... this stimulates growth hormone - new tissues replace the bad, healing is another word and it's FREE

I fractured my right ankle back in September of 2019. I use to walk all the time and I really didn't do much to help it other than stay off it and found a job to help stay off it. I just started working for the post office and my feet were doing good until I decided to wear an ankle brace that was too tight just in case to protect it. That brought top of the foot pain to both feet. This video is helping me get through this pain and making me realize how much more I need to strech EVERYDAY!!! Thank you.

Thank you for this video! I’ve broke my big toe surfing, it went straight into the sand and I thought it was a jam break, and of course when it got x-rayed the doctor said everything looks fine LOL gave me some bad medicine and sent me on my Way, seven years later it still hurts. I am a former pro surfer and I really liked the back half of this video for learning how to stretch the surrounding muscles and the old injury itself. Thank you I’m grateful.🤙🏼

I have severe pain on the top of my foot which started a few years ago when I decided to try running again for the first time in many years. I didn’t ease into it, I just started running. :/
After about 3 weeks, my (top of) foot pain started and I had to stop. It took a few months to heal. Since then, it comes back when I work long hours (I stand all day for work, minimum 10hour day).

Thank you so much for helping lay people understand a)That which sometimes neurologists don’t even understand or can’t explain and b) using visual aids to further demonstrate what could be going on in the bodies of people suffering from peripheral neuropathy or other neuropathies. It’s also great that you’ve added some valuable exercises as well as given your insights on when or when not to add medication to the treatment process and when and when not to add supplements to the treatment process. I realize that you are not giving definitive answers about that but just a general overview on what studies suggest. Thank you for your interest in educating the public in more about how anatomy works and what remedies best support people with this or similar diagnosis.

3:35 - this may have been my case yesterday when playing basketball on soft bottomed shoes w/o orthotic support, plus first time added a front foot pad of soft gel of a few mm thick. With my somewhat flat foot plus these factors, I had a number of jumps first time after a long time. Hours later I felt pains in the cuboid or/and cuneiform joint area. The jamming between these bones and the corresponding metatarsals as a result of all these factors combined, exactly like that said here, may be the cause of the pain. But not sure yet. To be updated...
Thanks Dr. for posting this valuable comprehensive top foot pain video.

How did I injure the top of my Left Foot? Right Ankle Replacement. I had a knee scooter for the right. But all my hopping was on the left foot. It's never recovered. But my right ankle and foot are pain free. You have convinced me to go to the--grumble--foot doctor.

im in my college's marching band and we do this technique called "roll stepping", which like you said involves the bottom of the foot stretching and the top of it compressing. It's meant to reduce upper body movement like the horn bouncing up and down with each step you take, however i am 99% sure that ive got that "mid foot spur" from the 8 years of marching ive done from highschool to college.

Excellent information, thank you! I stressed out my arch , the top of my right foot by doing a longer than usual walk with shoes that do not offer proper support. I was worried about this pain as I was not familiar with it. I began with the basics yesterday, icing and simple stretching and it's much better today. I will be doing more massaging , that is a practice that I've actually stopped but now I understand better its importance.

I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis for a bit now, and not responsibly. I haven't been doing stretches, wearing inserts, or proper shoes. It has gotten to the point where now it simply hurts to walk at all. I've bookmarked this video so I can make these stretches part of my daily routine. Thanks for your ideas and helping me understand what is going on with my feet! Going to get fitted for those shoe inserts today!

Hi , I've had top of foot pain for three years. My last year of work (floor nurse) retired ,I wore shoes with no support but knew retirement was soon so I wasn't concerned. Two and a half years later and the top of both feet , (right being worse) are red , have developed a hump and can't walk well due to severe pain. I did go to a foot specialist she said my feet were flat. She also had no idea what might be causing the pain.
I will watch your video again to learn the stretches and try ice in a bottle to roll for stretching.
I also had two knee replacements five years ago.
I feel orthotics will help and bought drugstore ones.
But if you have a video talking about orthotics and the best ones to buy. That would help.
Should I have them made. If not , what kind.
I will check your videos to see if there's more info on orthotics.
    Thank you.

Thanks! I've been getting gout every once in awhile for about 10 years. When I had my gall bladder removed, it lasted for nine months. I lead a squeaky clean lifestyle. I tried everything - colchine, allopurinol...Tart cherry and celery seed extract (nutritionist here said you'd have to drink too much juice - too much sugar), tons of water, gymnema, apple cider vinegar, baking soda, on and on. Nothing seems to help. I'm freaking out!

It is really wonderful in raising a topic that is widespread among people. I suffer from inflammation with x-rays. It turned out that a bump appeared, and the treatments did not work for me. I had symptoms of nerves. I went to the doctors, and they did not respond to me.
I suffer from severe sweating, muscle twitching, pain extending to the hand, burning, inability to control urine, and tremors above the lips.
