I turned 70 this year cannot travel more than 3 hours by plane so will probably never see Canada or America so it was a great joy for me to share that journey with you the light was incredible you are such amiable hosts how do you keep so cheerful? 😀 thanks Stuart & Christine
This Regent series is fantastic. I was lucky to cruise with Regent once on Navigator from Madiera to Monte Carlo in 2009. It was only one week, but it was probably the best week of my life. I loved it. Now, I can live vicariously through you wonderful people.
So pleased the rains had been left behind and the fall splendor could be shown to you two. Peggy’s Cove was not windy and the sun and sea co-operated to enhance the day. Boston was equally accommodating for you with the fall colors. Newport was a delight. Christina, your “ wearing of the green” was stunning and added so much to the elegance of your Regent experience. Rum raisin for Stuart; a favorite of mine as well. Excellent segment! ☘️🙏
Fabulous video Stuart and Christina, we are heading off on the RSS Splendour in May we both can’t wait, I love your content and look forward to seeing your next adventure. Keep the great work coming ❤🚢
Your videos have been such an added gift! We are booked on the Grandeur in April as a gift to ourselves to celebrate our 30th anniversary. You two are delightful. Hope to run into you on a Regent trip one day. I’m afraid we will be spoiled forever and choose nothing but Regent!
We did the same cruise the other way around on Silversea’s and it was amazing, Regents always has a special place in our hearts, we have cruised with them several times and have always had a wonderful time
Loved your 3rd installment video on the Regent Grandeur! Fabulous as always… You guys are the best in the business on cruise reviews and information. We were on the Grandeur in Feb this year and it truly is beautiful. We have done the Explorer, Splendor and Grandeur and will return in May 2025 on the Explorer for 2 weeks in Alaska! Thank you for all your reviews, and Christina, you are truly “Lady Grandeur” of the Seas!!!
Incredible. We're going to have to try this cruise line. Thank you once again for highlighting all what we consider to be the most important aspects ( alright then. , mostly the food 😄 ) , it does look the most beautiful ship and certainly a different feel to the Silversea fleet. However our Silver Nova trip is very much in our daily thoughts but this video is a most welcome distraction. As always it's a most entertaining watch and over all too soon. Cheers for now Stuart and Christina. 😍⛴️🍻🥂
Thanks so much for your lovely comments ❤️ Yes the food does come out top for us too! 😂 Must try Silversea soon.. we have a soft spot for Regent, it’s amazing..
Been following you for ages and how exciting to see you visit my hometown of Saint John and my current home of Halifax. You drove right by my house! Hope you enjoyed your time in Canada. Love your content.
Christina and Stuart, we just LOVE your delightful videos! Question- if memory serves, on one of your videos you teased doing one comparing Regent to Seabourn. That would be really interesting to see. Keep up the good work, and happy traveling!
Really enjoyed again thank you guys, me & husband are going to Boston on the 27th Dec for 6 nights so glad you enjoyed it as getting me excited for it ❤ can't wait for your next vlog 😊
I believe the Swiss horn may be a nod to Swissair flight 111 that crashed into the ocean off the coast of Peggy’s Cove in September 1998. 229 people perished.
Crumbs, we didn’t know about that. We spoke in length to the gentleman playing the horn and he was a lovely guy, but he never mentioned it. That now makes perfect sense, thanks for sharing ❤️
Your videos are just so wonderful. I ❤ your love for the “posh” yet you both just seem so sweet and down to earth. So Christina of course always looks amazing. As a guy getting ready to do his first 6 Star (Seabourn) cruise in November just wondering if you’ve ever done a “men’s” packing lists for a luxury cruise as you always look very smart as well?
@@craig7597 Hi Craig thanks for the great comments. To be honest for gents it’s just smart casual so trousers and a shirt most nights, jacket optional, but I usually wear one on the captains dinner. Seabourn is relaxed, which we love. Have a fantastic time on Seabourn! 🥂🍾
You really seem very impressed with Regent and I’m wondering your thoughts regarding Regent versus Seabourn.. Also, one of the reasons we chose Regent was to not have young noisy kids running around. We were wondering whether there were any children on board your cruise?
There was one family onboard and we didn’t notice them as they were so well behaved. Must do a video Regent vs Seabourn, they both have their qualities. Seabourn great for a relaxed vibe and events, and Regent win hands down on the dining options! 🎉
@@theposhtravelblogThanks for getting back to us so quickly.. as I said on the previous video, my wife and I are really enjoying your insights into Regent and looking forward to our upcoming 2 cruises! When we reviewed our options, we thought Regent would have the best overall experience, particularly not having noisy and boisterous guests, and the smaller ships definitely tick that box. The other things we found was that if you factor in all the inclusions, Regent finishes up cheaper than other “Premium” options. We are particularly looking forward to the wining and dining on board, but after looking at the Rib Steak Stuart managed to demolish, we’d better start training our stomachs, as well as begin the “Research Work”!😂
Thank you both for giving us such a detailed tour and review of the ship! I’m curious-how would you compare the food and overall experience here with Seabourn? And have you thought about trying Silversea as well?
@theposhtravelblog it's terrific. Msc virtuosa, 5 night from southampton worked out to be 200quid per person per day(inside cabin). Very classy stuff, but you'd hate the rest of the ship. Loads of chavs. We ventured out for 10 minutes, couldn't wait to get back to the sanctuary of yaught club. Only thing is, is that it's very limited in space. The beauty of the cruise you've just filmed, is that the whole ship is classy.
Hi Stuart & Christina, I really do enjoy all your videos but would ask you a question. All looks great on this ship and other luxury and ultra luxury ships, but you also enjoyed your cruise on Fred Olsen the food , the staff etc somy question is, is it really worth so much more money for a cruise such as this one where is the value most of the food is the same as I said most of the food.
Yes we really enjoyed our Fred Olsen cruise, and thought for a 4* cruise it was excellent. However it can’t be compared to the 6* ships for the fine dining options, all inclusive luxury drinks, plus the brand new ships with the finest fixtures and fittings, it’s a different kettle of fish. We like to give praise where praise is due and that’s what we did on Fred Olsen. Thanks for watching ❤️
True to a degree but most normal people do not eat those foods at home nor would they even want to my point is that little bit extra food and a few more staff worth the thousands of dollars extra that you have to pay. Maybe you eat at home like that but most people do not. In other words it certainly does not sound like value for money.
Very well done kids! Like the three parts, delivers a very thorough package. Cheers
@@timdavis1877 Thanks Tim! 🤗
Loved all 3 parts, such a lovely ship and the food is just the best, looking forward to your next adventures.
Coming soon! 😂🎉
Love the video. Great job. Also love the way you paid tribute to the various staff members. 👍👏
Thanks❤️ the staff were amazing

If you're in the UK you could cruise across the pond with Cunard. Then jump on another cruise from NYC.

I wish you showed us the final dinner you mentioned with caviar and lobster!
We’d already filmed Compass Rose and we need to keep the videos to a watchable length so decided to omit it. It easily a lovely meal though ❤️
