took me 200 hours of playtime before i docked my first vessel and the mission took 3 hours but now i can do it in like 10 mins

@@dannycnoble You should consider rebuilding the Rocket then and make it a bit more stable
@@dannycnoble then it's probably top heavy. Try adding wings on the side for stability or add RCS thrusters with fuel tanks. It isn't hard when you know how to do it!
i still take a hella long time to dock but ive increased effiecenty instead of having to turn basicly the entire thing with 2 GAINT engines on the sides

You can make crew go on EVA and then smack them on the full speed against that corner, so it will push those parts to each other. That would be very Kerbal way of solving issues.

Sadly the falcon 9 is not fully resusable, only the main stage booster thingy, the second stage is expendible, along with the fairings

I can't just do it because I can't even get something into orbit let alone a station.
you'll get there in time, it took me quite a while to get it right as well. If you're not doing it already, I recommend messing around in sandbox mode before trying to do the career.
fourth panda I was having that problem too until yesterday were after hours of tinkering I made a good orbit and now I have debris in space to make my job hard from now on

I am listening to a random guy talking about allergy tests and hay fever while I am lying naked in my bed cooling a toasted bagel on my nose. This is amazing. I feel good. The bagel is so fresh.
Great idea and well executed. The ONLY thing about this space station that bugged me was having more than one of the multi-docking ports on each corner. Would have looked a bit cleaner to take up 2 stages without these attached so as to have only 4 of them with 1 at each corner.

I learned docking through the stock in game training lesson, it was more than enough to get the basics. From there, just training
Yeah, many people I've met seem to refuse to do any of the lessons, saying, "I'll just wing it," or, "I can figure it out myself." But they're really useful, and can teach you everything you need to know to get started.

I tried to wing it for like 30 minutes before doing it the way Squad intended to. And I'm experienced in flight sims.
Refusal to do tutorials is just basic "muh gaming pride" thing. Like it's somehow a shame to learn something before going head first.

When I did my allergy test they did it on my back and I was allergic to everything too, The gave me three different prescription pills, a nasal, spray, two epipens, and weekly allergy shots

Awesome. really cool work you always do. If you put 2 of the parallel stations on top or bottom of the other 2 docking ports you could remove some of that gap between the asteroid and the station. Not sure if that makes sense to others. Sort of like a square stack of logs you would make for a fire pit. So if the length of the station is in the X axis and the other length of the station is the Y axis, the docking ports would attach on the Z axis.

Gahd, I wish I could remember which video had this station explode. My entire Minmus outpost spontaneously blew up (two automated miners, three LH2/LOX holding tanks, one active crew station with three Kerbals, and one broken crew module with no one in it) as I was trying to rename one landed module and all I could think of was the music that played as your station exploded...

i had so much cetrozine one summer that it no longer affects me at all. Also the sunglasses trick is amazing i find, it doesn't feel like it would stop anything but it works so well
i feel ya man, i have a bad case of hay fever too and just taking pills and using sprays no longer does much so i now need to inject medication with needles, not very fun but helps a lot

In the last video you said something like "a space station around the asteroid", and I had a brain fart and thought that you meant that you were going to use the gravity of the asteroid to orbit it, while that orbited Kerbin! Wow I can't believe that's what I thought you meant!!

I actually 24/7 had a stuffy nose that dripped and a sore throat for years. I remember frustratedly making the comment when I was 5 years old that I was probably going to be sick for the rest of my life. It went away when I was about 13 after a couple years of living in the desert. Before that I lived in the rainforest.
3 years later and I definitely take only having a stuffrunny nose for a few months in the spring very much for granted lol

I have the exact same experience with hay fever. I had the grid on my arm too which showed I was also allergic to animals with fur (cats will kill me). I've been prescribed eye drops and nasal sprays too. Loratadine seem to work for me

I feel your pain, suffered for as long as I remember, I use a mixture of cloraphenamine, (not sure if that is spelt right) and loratadine or cetirizine. I only have one of the cloraphenamine, (can take up to 4 per day, but they have a drowsy effect), and the other tides me over till the end of the day
I watched a shit ton off tutorials about docking and roindewous but couldnt doit but when i watched one of tour mothership and seperate lander videos i managed do do it first try

It is possible to create a closed loop with docking ports though, right? Or does the alignment need to be so perfect that you can't actually do it by eye without some form of post-docked editing? It's almost like you would need to be able to rotate the docks after they've connected.

I deal with a lot of allergies as well. I’m mostly allergic to a large number of pollens, two different species of dust mite, house cats, and dogs to a lesser extent. But mostly cats by severity and pollens by sheer amount of available allergenic material.
I was prescribed allergy drops, sorta like allergy shots but just a drop of fluid under the tongue that I swallow a minute later, and I can’t eat or drink anything within 15 minutes before or after taking the drops.

You've done space ships to places, you've done bases to places, you've done stop carrying a large amount of kerbals to places and for that I say very well done. But.. what if you re-directed asteroids to places, like the asteroid space station you have now, attach an engine onto it and refuel it with the asteroid drills and redirect the whole thing to a low ealoo orbit for future refueling at ealoo. Just a thought.
I took the exact same allergen test you took. I did not swell up as as large as you describe but I was also allergic to “everything”

You should continue this and make a story line where this one asteroid is able to support a butt ton of life and you just keep expanding on it
For hay fever I apply pressure around the bridge of my nose and put pressure on the roof of my mouth.... After of course the medicine. I find i still have congestion after meds... And after years of searching for the angle to lay at to allow things to drain. I found that on TH-cam and it helps... But of course medication and pressure points...
7:12 I wish that was what they did with me, but no, I had to get 55 allergens tested in a huge grid on my back. then the next day, the doctors realized that they had forgotten 3 allergens so I had to go back and get those done.

i had actually found a blue magic asteroid once and my parachutes didnt work and also crash landed itno the water somehow destroying it and when i reverted to where the asteroid was suposed to sill exist but i couldnt find it no matter what and i swear i almost let out a tear and even screamed

Docking is much easier if you place your RCS properly and dock north-to-south instead of trying to match whatever random alignment your craft and station are in..
There may be a way to get a perfect ring built in orbit, but you probably have to send it up one quarter at a time if you want to keep it stock, and you ned two docking ports on each end to guarantee alignment.
My hay fever started one summer with sneezing attack so bad I had to be carried out from hay stack(I was 9). later I was diagnosed to be allergic to grass pollen. It ended suddenly 22 years later.
I get your pain with the hay fever me myself I have hay fever and also got prescribed nasal spray and eyedrops and cetherizine but nowadays it’s fine with just the cetherzine

You can't make a "circular" (or in this case square) docking because each craft in KSP is internally represented as a tree of parts. Each part can have 'branches' and 'leaves'. There is always one root of part which does not and cannot have a parent.
