    Bro real life saver. That $20 difference would’ve cost me a lot in the long run. I had just ordered the 770 because Walmart linked it o me but I was wondering what’s the difference since the 850 was recommended. Thanks to your video I brought the correct one and cancel the other.

    Great Video and it's going to help many gamers and others looking to buy a ssd for a gamer. I've watched basically all the Ps5 SSD videos made by you. I do have 1 question. Do you recommend in all or most cases to use a approved spec. SSD without any heatsink in combination with a Heatsink that takes the place of the oem m.2 cover?? Say rather than a Built in OEM heatsink SSD? Like the Firecuda 530 with built in heatsink. Thanks for all the hard work making these videos.

    Thanks for this! Just picked it up at Best Buy for $80. Haven't installed it yet waiting for the heatsink to come. Can't wait to test it out! Just picked up God Of War to so going to test it with that

      @@8butsideways295 hey man! Yea it worked like a charm! I wanted the higher speed ones. But at less than $100 it was to good to pass up! I installed it the PS5 read it and I was able to install God of War no problem!
      It did take awhile though a few hours to fully install the game. Not sure if it was because it's only 5000mbps or if it was just the install of a new game.
      I moved Returnal to it no issues with the transfer pretty fast. Played it and I couldn't tell the difference between it and playing on console storage.
      So I think it's a good budget pick up and saved about $30-40 from the WD 850

    even a pcie gen 3 nvme on pc is still fine for most people but the fact that sony have gone for gen 4 is great but in terms of loading times the differences have been minimal between gen 3 and gen 4. The only place where is makes a real difference is copying speeds which you wouldn't be doing that often.

    • @simonpreston
      @simonpreston ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It will work. But if it gets too hot it'll likely slow down to ease the heat, which you'll notice when gaming. Just get yourself a heatsink such as the Eluteng. It's cheap and easy to put together. You'll only want to install one later on, so you may as well do it at the same time.
