The way i see modern rap is there’s a divide from fans of nas, j cole and jid then carti, uzi, future etc. Then there’s trav who has a good mix of both. He had the fein song with carti which was the biggest song in that sub genre last year then he had lyrical songs like my eyes and skitzo which were some of the biggest lyrical songs of last year or atleast mainstream they were. Most artists fit into one of the 2 groups now obviously there’s others in both like drake and yachty dabbling in both but travis doesn’t have many filler songs, if he puts out a song it’s complete
