SAE 10w 40 is the manual recommended, ATF works better for more power but increases the risk of overheating. Also most oils work as a fine motor oil other than lawnmower 30w.
@@mxgryan Exactly, you don't know :))) 650 is how big your engine is!! the amount of oil required should be in your maintenance manual. If you don't have one you take that side 10mm bolt out and pour your oil in until it comes out through that hole!

10w-40 motorcycle specific is perfect.

It depends how cold it is where u live the standard is 10w-40 or 80-85 but it varies
