Why didn't you do this in the daylight. bit hard to see when moving that fast

I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a simple corner. This works like a charm. Thank you!

It still doesn't work for me. It wants to go straight still, i even tried what you did somewhere else just to see if it was the area i was building in but it still didn't work, did they release a patch to fuck the building mechanics up more than they already were?
Edit: nvm got like what you did to work but I'm trying to build an inward facing corner.

Thank you! This was so fucking annoying to figure out. Corners almost look better built this way anyway.

Some times it will work placing a roof on it then the other corner. Both are not solving the corner problem I have now.

First, you put the floor down first then the walls, otherwise you may get a buggy ceiling. Second, if you're gonna do a video about building, film it during the day so ppl can see the video.

here's hoping that for fallout 76 they just asked the Bungie and/or 343 guys who worked on Forge how to make a building system with something resembling actual competence.

You gem! ive been raging about how to get my corners right, while this works for the base one could assume if you remove the floor piece and use the prefab you could get corners for rooms aswell... another way is to look at the floor and it will clip slightly (thats how ive been doing it) but damn using that will help alot and make things faster.
    Cheers bro.
P.S its not a bug just a shitty game design decision.

Didn't work for me, it only goes straight where I don't want it, even when there's another wall next to it in the same direction as what I want.

this was over a year ago man i have no idea how the game is nowadays.

Ziron2008 I think it's that specific wall I used, the patchwork wall with the blue bit.
I got a mod to add more walls and they work better, not perfect, but better.

Not really a bug!... if you put a floor down first then you can put walls around the floor. The walls will snap to the floor. I know that it works with wood floors and walls.

+greatway2start Nope, does not work for me. I still get the same result. Fallout 4 is frustrating as **. They need to fix their game. Even the thing in this video does not work for me, the does not let me build my corner. This game makes you wanna put a gun to the head and shoot..

+greatway2start *i've read this in a steam forum via googling, and this guy showing off "duh its like real life you have to lay the foundation first blah blah" its not necessary true. With your method you still can run in the same buggy problem*

    • @GawrGurasBathTubPizza

+greatway2start *after playing with the prefab 'flood and roof' it seems that even if you put down the floor technique you mentioned the reason why it fails is the programming is strict thats the reason why it clicks and NOT clicks, the length of roofs/walls/floors must be EQUAL, using the prefab is still a good idea to judge size*

Thank you very much. It must be a bug that the actual corners cannot have roofs on the inside.

Thank you! I have OCD when it comes to building, and not having working corners was bugging the heck out of me.
