    Don't think plastic cement works on metal, since its only really made for melting plastic. Correct me if I'm wrong

    Those are absurdly small screws... but when you think about it the thing the puts the screws in and out is fucking god damn massive... totally absurdly huge. Those screws would be bigger then people.

      I guess using large screws the size of large vans will help secure the plates?

    Pro Tip: Never use superglue if you've painted your kit. It contains chemicals that will eat right through your shiny new gundam.

    Question: If I want to apply these metal screw heads and top coat only (no painting), which one do I do first? Will the super glue seeps through the gap and dissolves the top coat?

      First, put masking tape at the back of the part you just drilled, act as a barrier so your metal part don't drop through, then prefer superglue that come in as gel type as it won't move around like liquid one, then apply your metal part using tweezer, drill your metal part hole first, then top coat and apply those parts

    Step 1: trim your nails 😂

  • @hoebread7584
    @hoebread7584 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Since gunpla are scaled down, this would make the real screws too big to be effective. You better off using dots of blue stuff(or equivalent epoxy-resin) to mimic riveys

    Drilling a hole and suspending the screw in mid-air? More like the most tedious and mindbreaking way to do it. Videos like this turn people off to customizing because it's such a pain in the ass to actually do that. Fiddling with mm-sized bits of metal and making sure they sit right? I see you dropping shit all over the place. This is dumb. Just drill a partial hole, put the screw in and have a nice day. Will it be flush? No. But do you want to spend all day doing this shit or do you want to enjoy your model? I thought so.

      yes I do want to spend my whole day applying some miniscule shit to my gunpla
