In my opinion, the PS6 should release in 2028/2029 bc technology is advancing slowly unlike the PS2-PS3 days. If the PS6 releases soon the upgrades won't be noticable and it'll lose its speciality just like Iphones
@@federicoleoni8342 ohh wait I meant games that push the ps5 to the limits. Only ps4 seems to be the one being pushed to max and almost all games being cross gen until 2023
It’s a mid gen refresh, not a whole new gen console😂😂😂. The PS4 pro was the same, that’s why no one bought one. Literally just made games 4k; checkerboard 4k not even native😂😂
Bought my ps5 fat in 2022, holds up like the day I bought it, I’ll wait on the pro version, always go for the 2nd or 3rd revision of a console is always best.
There won't be more revisions I don't think, still the most important thing is that as a launch ps5 owner. If Sony decides that digital is the way to go, and ps6 is digital only, I will buy the ps5 pro when it reaches its lowest along with the disk drive as my final disk console. Xbox is already obsolete and pcs are better than ever with Sony games also coming on it.
Yes they will revise the ps5 pro console. For example, the launch ps5 is a 1000 series. After a year and a half or so they made the 2nd revision the 1100 series. Still the ps5 fat, but different heat sink. They will revise the ps5 pro internally. They do this to every games system through its life cycle. Typically the final revision made on any system is the best(definitive) way to own a system.
I have the fat version and don't plan on upgrading for a while. PC is my next venture, but I will upgrade to next gen consoles in 2030 at the earliest.
Funny you mention the regular 5. I went out last week and brought a slim with drive as the drive is want I want the most. It was $130.00 0ff. And the drives are hard to get here. More are supposed to be on the way. But I am coming from a PS3. Which I fired up the other day for the first time in about 5 years. Still works and looks good. I don't think for me $1200.00 is worth it especially with no drive. looking forward to playing the 5 slim on my day off.
They should release the Ps6 in 2029 or 2030 some people still have Ps4 and a few people are still on ps3 because they can’t afford a ps5 yet, I don’t even have a ps5 yet and I am thinking of buying a Ps5 Slim disc version on black friday or December

Good video. Agree with a lot of what you said. Though I would say that the ps5 OG model sits perfectly into my media set up and doesn't stand out at all. I have a creamish and walnut wooden two tone coloured cabinet with my 55 inch QLED and one connect box on top, to the left of it is my xbox one x, to the right my ps4 pro and on the shelf beneath the TV is where my ps5 sits with room for me to neatly connect my external storage to move my games back and forth and there are cut outs compartments with sliding doors to store over 20 of my xbox one games on the left and over 15 ps5 games and over 15 ps4 games on the right side of the media unit. So with the ps5 it depends on your overall set up and decor for your room space. As for games that blew me away, so far I would have to say Ratchet and clank rift apart on my current HDR calibration set up looks phenomenal and works wonderfully with my current TV settings. I honestly couldn't imagine the game looking any better than how I have it.
There should be NO discussion about the ps6 bro the ps5 is only 4 years old and the console doesn’t even feel like it’s been taken full advantage of. The ps6 shouldn’t come anytime soon if anything it should release 5 years from now
Have had my PS5 for 2 years and haven't had a problem. But I've already had to replace 2 controllers from stick drift and I take great care of them. Never had this problem before with my other playstation controllers and had them 8+ years
My first console was a PS1 fat. Then my dad bought a Ps2 fat. I bought my PS5 fat last year. I love my consoles Fat. Helps with the heating too, slim versions are notorious for cooling issues, and ps2 slim put scratches on cds.
Just wondering why blame Sony for poor game optimization? Most games that launched with issues were on all platforms. Look at Elden ring and Jedi survivor for a couple. And upscaling technology has been on the rise for pc before consoles. Great review, I think you nailed that the slim disc version is the best value to get for your buck.
Superb work with the very decent arguments my friend. Basically the 5pro is a optional choice for those who wants to play in full speed kind of console level and the don't want the pc gaming mentally. The best pre meal of the next generation of the ps6 the 5pro.

Everyone keep saying how the extra gpu on ps5 pro won't be worth anything but don't realize how blurry the image can be in certain fps games where it's 120 hertz for example apex legends, and in that game you're left with less aim assist if you choose to have higher framerate despite losing out on higher resolution, as if EA forgot that we're still playing on a controller with less detail, so if apex actually runs out a patch for ps5 pro this would mean that owners of the console wouldn't have to choose between performance mode or resolution... making it pay to win (meaning you don't get less aim assist because you're not chosing a mode and just get 120 hertz anyway)
After one and a half year with my PS5, and a new TV, I tried my old PS4 fat, with my old TV out again, just to see and feel the difference. And yes, there is a BIG difference, especially with a good TV, the graphics, the performance, the loading speed, and also the fan noise difference! Oh was I sick of that. I mean, there are games that are "next gen" for sure, not only talking about the graphics, because the leap is not as big as it was time ago, we know that, but on other fronts. I think if you have a PS5, or want one, then you should also thinking about upgrade your TV, if you don't have it already the last years. Then yes, it's a difference, often times a big one, others less, but anyway.
I'm ok with my phat PS5. There is nothing interesting about the PS5 Pro with that price tag for what you get in my opinion. I also have the PS5 for 4 years and had no issues with it. I also prefer physical media and it will be a deciding factor to get the PS6 or game on PC.
Do you own a PS 5 Pro? How can you evaluate it without one? Is this another video where the console /PC owner backs their own machine? It sounds like it. Certainly that's the line most people should take if they want to feel good. Why not?

Great review! I’ve been using the PS5 Digital Edition for a while, and while it’s awesome in terms of performance, I’ve definitely noticed the heating issues people talk about. The slim design on the Digital Edition looks sleek, but it seems like it struggles a bit more with heat dissipation compared to the standard PS5. During long gaming sessions, I can definitely feel the system getting hot, especially around the disc area (even though I don't have the disc version). Anyone else facing this? Hope they address it in future hardware revisions!
I have the disk version and yea it does get hot. And these systems are meant to get hot. As long as you give it breathable space you should be fine. There's no wonder everyone is saying these things become a personal heater in the winter season
As someone that primarily plays on the switch the pro is completely pointless to me. The performance and visual quality of a game mean very little to me, I’m primarily looking at if the game itself is fun to play and If it’s a good game. The base model is good enough for me and my needs, and truth be told I only upgraded to ps5 so I don’t miss out on any games, I was perfectly fine with my ps4.
being an owner of the launch PS5. I have to respectfully disagree with your verdicts on the PS5 Pro. And yes I have the PS5 Pro. And my OG PS5 is still with me which I am kind of struggling on deciding if i want to let that go since the PS5 Pro is definitely here to stay. While I do agree with the point that if one is to pay $700, it is fair to expect every essentials are there in the package eg the disc drive and even the stand. Selling the stand separately even for the Slim model is extremely lame IMHO. Technically that is like some kind of a hidden price hike which makes you pay the same but giving you less. with all that said... after playing around with the PS5 Pro on multiple different games, whether PS5 games that have not been enhance (yet), or PS5 enhanced games and even older PS4 titles. While i do feel some mix bags among them, the overall positivity actually outweighs the negativity. It is a better than what many assume pre / post launch. And to be honest I am also one of those who assume it being lame when it was first announced. And the $700 price tag, is that overprice? Actually no.. but without a doubt it is expensive. The PS5 Pro is not a perfect console, neither is the original PS5. Both have tons of flaws. In fact i dont think there is any product out there that is ever perfect. As for the PS5 Pro specifically, I do find the extra $200 worth it, Or $280 if you want to factor in the disc drive. As using it, I know where the money actually goes to. Because when you play the right game, it would makes you not want to fire up the same thing on the OG PS5 again. It can be pretty obvious especially if you couple it with a decent TV. One thing I am pretty certain, if you do not have a TV with 120hz, and VRR support, just stick to the regular PS5. Whether you are coming in this as a new owner or you already own a PS5. Dont bother with the Pro even the slightest. But if you have a decent enough TV setup with you PS5, with the right game, it is quite an obvious upgrade. That is as much as i can tell you. Watching TH-cam video is pointless. Only experiencing it in person with the right equipment will truly let you know their difference.
I don't know about that. I've personally never had stick drift on any controller I've owned. I assume the most common result of stick drift is lack of cleanliness based on what I've seen from people with stick drift. I'm aware some of the sensors wear off over time, but I surely would've experienced it by now knowing that I rack up more hours than some people I've seen with drift issues.
If PS5 is at the end I'll never bother with the PS6 when PS4 gamers are still doing so good. Nothing will blow your mind or be revolutionary in PS6, and it won't make you believe you're witnessing the future of gaming It'll be just nothing more than a reskin with a small software upgrade lol! 😂
Exactly. The only reason I am getting a PS5 is some of the games I am playing are only available on PS5 lookin at Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, Project Mugen, etc. If they made a good PS4 port, I wouldn't bother upgrading to PS5.
I have the original PS5 and planed to wait for the Pro to upgrade… but 800€ without Disc Drive or a stand is a disgrace… so I will keep my „fat“ PS5… And maybe the PS6 will be only digital (I hope it wont be but you can never know) and I will keep the original PS5 till it dies

Stop waiting for the PS6 or buying PS5s, just buy a $1000 PC with 32GB DDR5 ram
9:11 if your dual sense controller is still working after 5 years then you're not gaming at all😂
I don't know about that.
@@NoCluYT Do you mean internal cleaning and opening the controller?
ive managed to not buy a ps5. lmao. i told myself i will buy one when GTA6 comes out. that is the game that is gonna make me get one
*I'm not gonna upgrade to the PS6 until 2033. Besides I just got a PS5 Slim Edition Bundle for $600*
Very minimal software upgrade is all it will with a new case lol
I think i well wait for ps9
I even heard PS5 original as PS5 ametuer, fat after the PS5 pro release
The PS6 should be delayed from 2028 to 2029
I so regret the 3,500+ hours I’ve gotten out of my ps5, I’m so sad.
nice sarcasm
I purchased ps5 fat 6 months ago should I regret about anything?
Make up your own mind
I have the original PS5 and planed to wait for the Pro to upgrade… but 800€ without Disc Drive or a stand is a disgrace… so I will keep my „fat“ PS5… And maybe the PS6 will be only digital (I hope it wont be but you can never know) and I will keep the original PS5 till it dies
PS5 SLIM DIGITAL FTW!!!
DLSS, Frame Generation and all these new stupid gimmicks literally Killed PC gaming and consoles aren't much better but on PC is a Complete disaster sure it's mostly cause of Diversity Hires replacing Real Devs with Leftover women Feminists but NVIDIA literally created these gimmick to allow studios to release garbage Unfinished games
most games on PC can't even do Native 1440p at 60fps on 4080 which is Insane 980 was running new games at Native 1440p at 60fps and much more the Moment NVIDIA launched the RTX GPUs PC gaming literally died
Lol what specs of pc do you have? 4080 can run games easily at 1440p above 60. Wtf. I have 4070 super and I can do that as well. Stop lying man, I think u only have a console
