Man, the passage of time is damn scary. It feels like it’s been three months. I’m gonna be straight depressed when they announce PS6. It’s even more odd to me because PS4 felt like it dragged on and on.
The ps5 capacity hasn’t been yet utilized fully in term of games… since the games were made for two consoles( Ps4 et Ps5 ) Don’t worry , The ps5 still has years before ps6 showing up
@@loicmk6586I wouldn't hold my breath on new games tho. We're 3 years in already and the PS5 still doesn't have at least 10 games exclusively for the PS5 console yet. Not to mention, a majority of the PS5 library of games are still shared with the last gen console. Is the PS5 experience great so far? No. Definitely not enough to feel the need to spend $500 on a mediocre yet expensive experience. So basically, you're paying for a slighty stronger console (than the P4 pro) that basically runs like PC. If it wasn't for the backwards compatibility and cloud streaming, the PS5 wouldn't be worth the 2 or 3 games it currently has in its library. Ijs. Ps I've also been a P5 owner for over a year now. It's very disappointing imo.
@@youngsmeezy1 I get that But considering what happened during the three past years( mostly empty stock + the virus ) , the current situation is obviously understandable, because of those overwhelming situations Developers didn’t really work on the console. Not to mention that developers are still supported the Ps4, not against that tho ppl should understand that Ps4 era is over . The Ps5 didn’t have a propre introduction due to those issues. I still have faith for the future all the exclusives games that I have played so far are all great , you can feel that hough hands while playing the games that there are uncovers technology that aren’t yet used. But don’t get me wrong I’m not gonna buy the so called ps5 slim 😂I’ll trust Sony for the futur
I have had one since January and it’s a big upgrade over the PS4. The load times alone make it worth the upgrade for me. I wish there was more onboard storage but I can always delete and reinstall games since my internet is pretty good and I can download in sleep mode. The design has also grown on me a bit. It’s a behemoth but if that’s what it takes to have a console that doesn’t sound like a jet engine I will live with it.
I got one in February this year. For 500 bucks it's fantastic. I've been more or less satisfied. I'd prefer developers focus more on 1440P 60 F.P.S. experiences as opposed to 4K ray tracing 30 F.P.S. experiences but that's really on me. If I really cared enough to tailor my experience to my liking I would get a gaming P.C.. But frankly my life is so busy a console is simply more convenient for me.
i have a 3080 gpu and solid cpu in my pc, it performs awesome, but for some reason i always reach for my ps5, not quite sure why. i think the ease of use (pick up controller and play), my LG C2, platinum trophies, and couch style of gaming has called me more than the performance / desk gaming i got with my pc set up.
I’ve only had mine for 4 months and I still can’t believe I own one now as I had to wait and save up. Being a father of two and still a big kid myself when it comes to PlayStation because I grew up with it since day one of the ps1. Love my PS5 💙. I definetly miss Themes from my PS4 - would love that to come back. Personally, I would love to see Dolby Vision support - at least for for Blu Rays and Streaming services. I'm not sure if it would be possible, but would be nice to see it if it is not limited by hardware. If PS5 pro comes, I hope it supports it at the very least. I would actually use my PS5 as a streaming device a lot more if it supported Dolby Vision as well as the newly added Atmos support. Also in the future, if they make a PS5 pro, I really, really hope that they find a way to make it compatible with existing side-plates, as my son would be devastated if we had to get rid of those to upgrade.
Would love one. Been a Sony kid since the original PlayStation. Unfortunately being disabled and life issues haven’t been able to keep any old consoles or get a new one. Things are stable now but almost the whole check goes to bills and food but slowly saving. Have $100 so far towards it, probably be saved up by the time a PlayStation 5 Pro or PlayStation 6 is announced 😅

I'm the one of those people who didn't buy a PS5 yet simply because it was too expensive in my country, but now it's getting a lot better an the price is getting lower. I was curious if the PS5 is still silent because i don't want another jet flying through ny room lol. Thanks for letting me know that it's still quiet.
I'm console agnostic. I owned a PS4 for last gen, and have a switch. I've held off getting a PS5 because to me, there is no must have/must play game yet. Some decent looking games, sure, but that's it. i'll wait for the Pro model and then may jump in, unless its digital only. sony's digital storefront prices are too expensive.
I've had my PS5 now for exactly 5 months and it's been great so don't see a need for a PS5 Pro imo I do agree they need to add folders to the main menu and also themes , plus would be cool to be able to customize the folders with a thumbnail image as well

Man, the passage of time is damn scary. It feels like it’s been three months. I’m gonna be straight depressed when they announce PS6.
It’s even more odd to me because PS4 felt like it dragged on and on.
Totally agree, its incredible to think how fast the last 3 years have flown by.
The ps5 capacity hasn’t been yet utilized fully in term of games… since the games were made for two consoles( Ps4 et Ps5 )
Don’t worry , The ps5 still has years before ps6 showing up
@@loicmk6586I wouldn't hold my breath on new games tho.
@@youngsmeezy1 I get that
But considering what happened during the three past years( mostly empty stock + the virus ) , the current situation is obviously understandable, because of those overwhelming situations Developers didn’t really work on the console.
@@loicmk6586I know that but the furthest it’s getting to is 2028.
Definitely need folders on the Home Screen. Gamelists tucked in the end of the row, doesn’t cut it in terms of UI
The ps5 is basically a ps4 pro s
I got one in February this year. For 500 bucks it's fantastic. I've been more or less satisfied. I'd prefer developers focus more on 1440P 60 F.P.S. experiences as opposed to 4K ray tracing 30 F.P.S. experiences but that's really on me. If I really cared enough to tailor my experience to my liking I would get a gaming P.C.. But frankly my life is so busy a console is simply more convenient for me.
i have a 3080 gpu and solid cpu in my pc, it performs awesome, but for some reason i always reach for my ps5, not quite sure why. i think the ease of use (pick up controller and play), my LG C2, platinum trophies, and couch style of gaming has called me more than the performance / desk gaming i got with my pc set up.
i got a 3070 with a 5800x3d and i am wanting to buy ps5 slim today but idk if i should i kind of got over always upgrading
I’ve only had mine for 4 months and I still can’t believe I own one now as I had to wait and save up.
Being a father of two and still a big kid myself when it comes to PlayStation because I grew up with it since day one of the ps1. The games I’ve played so far been great and you do genuinely feel every weapon and touch of grass in the palm of your hands on the duelsense.
W man ❤ w father enjoy the games
I got mine 1 month ago i came from pc but parts are too expensive on my country and honestly i was blown away because of how well the games run and look is an amazing console and now it has a lot of games to try
My favorite Playstaion game ever is “The Last of Us”. You should check it out 👍
I am saving up for a PS5 and this was soooo helpfull
Thx
It’s crazy to think three years passed it seems a lot shorter. I was lucky to get my hands on one after about a year.
Havent even had the chace to get one yet. Time flew fr
was just thinking that holy shii. time went by so fast
@@berrex5152
I'm waitin for the pro @@berrex5152
3 years and i never got the ps5
same bro, just got mine this year tho. You will get one eventually
Same dawg, my plans on Black Friday this year for a deal, if not possible, imma just cop one
Got one the same day that re4 remake came out, I love it.
got one 2 months ago😊😊 i dont have regrets!!!!! the experience its unique
Love the commitment man, been a long time viewer and always loved the vids! Keep going
finally get my ps5 tmrw after all this time. super excited
wonderful console, bought it about a month ago and am very pleased with the purchase
usually if the PS4 fan is loud it means the thermal paste has dried up and wants replacing artic mx6 will sort that issue for you straight away and you can hardly hear your PS4 then
I'm surprised myself that my ps5 survived that long, covered in dust alongside my PC😂 but I think it's good it proves that this machine is much better than PS4 in built quality
Thanks for making this video, thinking about getting one for Christmas 🎁
i would like to take a moment to appreciate the comment section for spreading positivity and not being toxic. i would also like to call attention to how amazing SpawnPoiint is. he makes amazing content and even puts the sponsored segments in chapters. SpawnPoiint if you're reading this, congratulations on being one of the best youtubers.🥳🥳
The blue ps4 you got is a looker! Feels so galactic lol
Bro your timing is absolutely impeccable. Have been humming and hahing over whether I’m going to switch to PS5 from PC, but all the reviews are from 1-3 years ago. Much love!! ❤❤
I hope this helps you out! Let me know what you think at the end.
Stick with pc.
@@SpawnPoiintsuper helpful, definitely made up my mind on buying one. My one question though, would you recommend buying one now, or would it be preferable to wait until the holidays for that extra 1tb of storage?
@@denisn8336why? Do you want to get leaked and wait 2 to 3 years to play on PC? Wtf
@@itxidlebetter to buy now. SSD’s are much cheaper than they were before. The new ps5, while having 1tb of storage, will really use around 800gigs, since some is used by the console itself.
The PS5 is one of my favorite video game consoles of all time, been gaming on console since the N64, yet the PS5 feels like the absolute perfect console, the dualsense, games, fun factor all are incredible , Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, God of War Ragnarok, Spider-Man 2 and Horizon Forbidden West are my favorite games 👏👏👏😊
Love that you review technology gaming devices I really like how you record its so neat also the commentary is amazing as well keep it up spawnpoint 👍
Glad you like them!
Got my PS5 this year, and its one of the best decisions I've made in my entire life. Super hyped for Spider-Man 2.
I got mine last year and I love it to death.
Just recently (finally) got a PS5 and a 2TB internal mem stick ... It's amazing how things just as simple as load time in games you are already playing on the 4. I was playing sekiro then when i transferred it to PS5 it plays so much smoother and load times cut down a ton.. Then PS5 exclusives are just incredible .. FF16 was awesome .. plus the upgrades to PS5 games like RE4 etc just makes them so much better ...
How do you know the PS5 Pro will be released next year?
Fall this year is what I’ve heard.
Oh my god. YES. Folder on the HOME screen. I've been saying this and yet seem like no one understands. Every one just tell you you can group your games in the library. Thank you for mentioning it and hope Sony did hear about this.
having to pay to access online is a disgusting business practice
I remember online was always free on PS3 right? I bought a PS4 while I was working on a cruise ship and payed single player games in my cabin. Was shocked when I got home and had to pay to play online.
Got ps5 in 2021 for 800$
Now bought 1200 series ps5 on may 2023 due to overheating
Loving this console and I wish they add Dolby vision soon
Spider-Man 2 is coming in 6 days! I can't believe it!
It’s actually coming in 5 days, 8 hours, 5 mins and 40 seconds from now
Ps5 better start making some real games because Xbox is taking off like a rocket honestly
@@JoJoMcFly7 no they’re not. Wow they’ve bought activision. But they’re only really acquiring old games. Only big thing that’s came out of Xbox recently is starfield. And it’s shit. Along side forza motorsport
@@JoJoMcFly7bro what. Ps5 already has good games and more to Come. I dont see xbox going anywhere atm. Starfield is already silent. And FM8 was a major dissapointment for many.

what's the TV you're using in this video? great video btw!
Thank you, it's the 77" LG G3.
Hi Spawnpoint!! What an awesome video you just made, excellent structured, please remember that there are subscribers that do appreciate the efforts you put in the creativity of your videos, we just love them. ❤ BTW when is the PS5 Pro releasing?
The Slim is releasing sometime next month.
I got the PS5 MWII bundle two weeks ago, first ever console I’ve bought, and I’m loving every millisecond of it 😍
SPIDER MAN 2 ~~~~~~~~~~
Stayed to the end. PS5
I’m happy with mine. A year and a half in, don’t play as much as I’d like but slowly getting there. From my NES I got in about ‘87, to my PlayStation I got about a decade later, I thought that was a massive shift. PS2 was my first and last console I bought, until the 5. From 2 to 5, now THAT’S a massive shift!
Love it. The graphics and feedback in the controller are awesome. PSVR is next and that looks mind blowing as well.
Hey spawn point I’m a good fan
I'm getting mine on my birthday in 2 months. I'm soo hyped
I love your videos spawnpoiint well done
Thank you!
Going to buy one this xmas, took me 3 years to afford it and actually have them in stock. But im let down with the limited games
PS5💙
It's still kinda wild that the PS5 has been out coming up on 3 years, 2020 really knocked the passage of time out of wack.😅 I don't have one yet, but hopefully, I'll have one next year.
Just got mine in march of 2023 for my birthday, so i hope we still have at least 4 more years with this console.
Straight up awesome review keep up the great work 💯👍😃
86 platinums is impressive im on 32 we will catch up hopefully 😢
I own my ps5 since December 2020,the best console experience ❤
Great video! I've loved the PS5 and I'm super ready for Spider-Man 2. But I'd be interested to see a review of the Hori Alpha fightstick with the new versions for Tekken that are coming out!
The PS5 really reinvigorated my love for gaming again! Ever since I’ve been using it, it has been a game changer for me! 💙
@@ps4games164 Lol, negative.
I just recently got PS5 like a few days before and loving every bit of it.
The only reason I originally wanted a ps5 was because Spider-Man 2 was ps5 only and since then I’ve ended up buying over 150 games since getting it last year 😂
150 games, that's incredible! The PS5 is a great buy too.
Most 150 games must be PS4 games lol
Watching proudly on my PS5 😊
I'm getting this just so I can play Spiderman 💀
Going from ps4 slim to ps5 was worth it for me. The load times too really does spoil you when you play your backlog ps4 only games
Literally one of my favourite consoles ever. Being able to play PS4 games at a higher framerate is fantastic and the PS5 library is building as well.
I’m on my 2nd PS5. I have a day 1 digital only console but sold it for a disc based PS5 in June. I’m really happy for the future of this generation
Why did you sell your digital only PS5 tho? Mine will delivered next week and I'm kinda worried, that it was a wrong decision to buy the digital only one...
GETTING MY DIGITAL PS5 THIS CHRISTMAS 😊🎉
Let's goooo!
I've had my PS5 💙since December 10th of last year, and I really enjoy the games I've played on it. I'm excited to see what the PS5 will offer in the future.
Common PS5 W, common Spawnpoint massive W 👌💯🏆
ah thank you man!
Man the prices have increased so much for the PS 5 here in South Africa its crazy
I love this video
Thank you Kenny!
No problem my dude I love your content so cool 😎
I'm the one of those people who didn't buy a PS5 yet simply because it was too expensive in my country, but now it's getting a lot better an the price is getting lower. I was curious if the PS5 is still silent because i don't want another jet flying through ny room lol.
Thanks for letting me know that it's still quiet.
3 years and I still don't have one😭
Upgrading to the ps5 tomorrow. I’ve only been more excited about 1 other thing. But this is my top 3 most exciting things Ive done so far
Same with me. Switch for portability and ps4. Nothing from ps5 is enough to get me. Played elden ring on ps4 and it was still amazing
Same here with everything you said
I've had my PS5 now for exactly 5 months and it's been great so don't see a need for a PS5 Pro imo
I do agree they need to add folders to the main menu and also themes , plus would be cool to be able to customize the folders with a thumbnail image as well
I bought a ps5 about 3 weeks ago.anf it has definitely been a big upgrade from my xbox one. I enjoy using the console and its features really syep into the next generation of gaming
