Blender: What are normals and why are they important for 3d printing

Here we have another What on Earth Wednesday video. This time on a Sunday. Today we look at normals in Blender with a focus on what they mean for 3dprinting and why you need to care.

As someone trying to teach themselves Blender through multiple channels and tutorial series, so far I haven't seen anyone actually talk about normals, and how it affects models when creating extruded planes or organic rings for boolean cuts, so thanks for breaking that little concept down.
