I don't think Rakna will be in the base game, but it would be cool to have her in the expansion. If World can have almost every flying wyvern known to man, then we're allowed to have a Temnoceran family reunion for one game.
Um we have no evidence of oilwell basin being a layered structure, like what the rotten vale uses, as of right now. With how the weather/environmental system works, any part of the map will be in any of the 3 states as those effects move through the map. It probably won't be sectioned off like the vale. There would be no reason to do so with this system in place. Gemma is probably just an Easter egg, with an design inspired by the smithy from MH4. They've implied that they don't like to restrict themselves by making hard connections between games. GU was the exception because it was meant to celebrate the games, or generations, that came before. Congalala was obvious. Kut ku was a bit more mysterious, in it being an Easter egg or not. The lala barina thing is possibly a connection. I still don't think that nerscylla is guaranteed but I would like to see her. I do agree that we should see more spiders. I would also like the same to apply to snakes, bug, and crabs. Yeah, we haven't had more than 2 snakes in a game either, 1 by your logic. That doesn't really mean anything. Um, every game has had a ton of flying wyverns. Even a fair few new ones, save gen 2; MH2 where no new ones were added and portable second only had 2 new flying wyverns being tigrex and akantor. Again I am using the same logic you did. Those may be webs, I'm not 100% convinced though. No, rakna doe s not do that. She can shine again later. Yep. Rakna is, herself, a wlaking nest. She's a wolf spider/assassin spider hybrid, do to how her neck works.

it looks like either a small monster or endemic life. Kind of reminds me of the Ceanataur which is a small monster crab and is a baby of a Shogun Ceanatur that is the Large Monster. They normally reside in hot regions so it would make sense for them to appear here if they are returning.
Tbf I do think you have a point, especially after they did say that they wanted to add monsters that didn’t get a chance to reappear in World, Rise and Sunbreak. They do already have the rig in game too so this could very well happen too Let’s just hope your predictions come true

Visual and thematic similarities to past games doesn't mean that Nerscylla will return. The "web" from the trailer could be webbing or it might just be rock structure. I'd need more than this to be convinced. But, I do hope we see more Temnocerans (and Neopterons or Carapaceons).

a huge hint to what monsters are coming is always the animations and rig of whatever is teased. agnaktor, lagiacrus, nerscylla, possibly rajang seem likely.
I think Nerscylla has a very chance of being in Wilds, either she’ll be in the base game or she’ll come in with a title update or possibly the G rank expansion but I’m hoping she’s in the base game
I really hope she does return or even a new temnoceran because they are going crazy with the weapon and armor designs, I can only imagine what they’ll cook up with something so anticipated.

At first I to was skeptical of Nerschylla ‘s return, but I’m more convinced now that we know that a proper cave map is in the game, and pretty big one to see Nershylla climb around on the pipe The thing I’m no longer convinced about is Gipceros’s return, since Rompopolo seem to have taken its role, but this might be a good opportunity to expand the lore, to say that the Nershylla in Oilwell Basin hunt Rompopolo instead of Gipceros for their elastic back skin
Gypcerso still can offer a lot to the ecology that Rompopolo can't. For example, he can play dead for 1 and 2nd he can also flash his enemies and yes 3rd he has poison. Rompompolo is also a NEW 2nd Brute Wyvern besides Quematirce who is also a NEW Brute Wyvern. We only have Bird Wyvern right now and its a return of Yian Kut Ku. Haven't even seen a single new bird wyvern, hope they have one and I do believe they can find a way to slot in Gypceros in Oilwell Basin as one of the returning Bird Wyverns into that locale. Similarity to how Yian Kut Ku is the returning Bird Wyvern for Scarlet Forest.
@@RathalosWatch I don’t know Capcom usually don’t put similar monsters in the same map and for what we saw Rampopolo and Gipceros seems to be on the same tier fight wise, also Gipceros isn’t really a fan favorite like the Kut Ku, also (personal opinion) Gipceros gimmick are more annoying than fun

But if Rompopolo's skin in game is said to have similar properties then I can see them omitting Gypceros, maybe slightly changing the design of Nerscylla's back skin at least in colors to reflect it's Rompopolo skin now.

Seems like there's a very high chance of Nerscylla coming back, and it would be awesome if we got spider monsters in 3 different locales, with Nercylla on occasion switching from scarlet forest and oilwell basin. I was also thinking about something that if another monster might take over Nercylla's nest while she's gone, like a new Neopteron. It's been forever since we have gotten a new large Neopteron monster. Maybe it could still use silk, but also use blast, where it turns you into a human dynamite stick if it wraps you up in it or something? Anyway, if Nerscylla comes back, I'd be all for it. There's just one con that comes with it, and that's Gypceros. I'd really want to avoid fighting that ugly chicken if possible, but you can't really have one without the other.
Tbh I only really believe Nercylla will make her return because Ryozo mentioned how the team is trying to bring back more older gen monsters that fit into the game. If by theory the oilwell basin is in fact a locale that changes because of human intervention, it would make sense for Nercylla to have originally lived there before being forcefully removed due to sudden harsh circumstances, though that is personal story speculation with no real concrete evidence. That and it would be a real shame to throw in a new temnoceran monster without using the skeleton to add returning monsters like Nercylla. Despite what little evidence is out there, I do hope she does make a return.

Oilwell Basin being a successor to Sunken Hollow makes sense but it’s another one of those MH4 parallels like you’ve said, and we already have a temnoceran to replace Nercylla to make up that MH4 Parallel. So besides MH4 parallels and a patch of spiderwebs there really isn’t anything else to prove she’s making a return. I would think that constitutes as little evidence. Though little, still considerably substantial to the claim. Once again however, I’m still holding out hope and huffing about as much copium as a Silksong fan at the Game Awards for her return. Could you imagine watching two temnocerans turfing it out!? Coolest shit to ever live rent free in my head.

I think as far as editing goes, it would have been really cool if you showed a map of the location, so we can see where area six is, and what Primal Forest looks like. Otherwise, yet another good video!
I wanted to show the map but could not because the emulator emulates 3Ds and the map is on a 2nd monitor screen, so it was only recording 1 monitor. I probably should have just grabbed an image somewhere of the map itself and used that as a still frame for a few seconds. Sorry, did not really think about it that much, I was more focused on getting my points across more than anything else to be honest.

Ehh not sure if I agree with that and I am not sure if Capcom agrees with it either. Temnocerans are considered arachnids for Capcom and as I far I am concerned I am gonna have to go with what Capcom says. It is their game after all. Lala Barina is a spider, it's just a fact.
We already have the temnoceran skeleton with lala balina, so they have to bring nershylla back, i personally hate spiders irl, but i really want to see this one return in wilds🕷
Nerscylla is a cool spider and it'd be incredible to have her back, but if I had to choose then I'd prefer Rakna Kadaki to return as I find her to be more awesome than Nerscylla

To be honest I would rather have another monster but the web like substance does hint to a spider so I do believe she will comeback and I am excited to see if she will or some different one will come back.
Unrelated to the video but I feel like deviljhoe would be perfect for wilds Think about with all the things that we know about wilds it makes more sense to include them in and then just leave them out. To me in the world he didn't exactly feel like the world eater because yeah he would attack the small monsters randomly but he never outright killed and eat them unless he got hungry when he is a monster that is described as usually being constantly hungry but now in miles what's the amount of small monsters in the area at once and the herd mechanics and all that good stuff joe could actually be the world eater he was always meant to be

@@RathalosWatch the reason why i'm 100% confident that Nerscylla is back because of the new system in WILDS called GROUP SKILLS which gives you set bonuses in wearing armor set of the same monster class type.
@@RathalosWatch because the only way for the GROUP SKILL to work is by wearing mix sets of the same monster class, that means Lala barina won't be the only Temnoceran in the game.
I really want to do it. Yes. But the issue and the reason why I have not done it is because Capcom have never posted an official render of it. We only have few seconds of gameplay and you can't even see its entire body with all the colors in its full glory. So I am waiting until we get more material.

Ehh not sure if I agree with that and I am not sure if Capcom agrees with it either. Temnocerans are considered arachnids for Capcom and as I far I am concerned I am gonna have to go with what Capcom says. It is their game after all. Lala Barina is a spider, it's just a fact.
Temnocerans are my favourite monster class, I really hope all three of our web-weaving gal's make an appearance

Nerscylla is a cool spider and it'd be incredible to have her back, but if I had to choose then I'd prefer Rakna Kadaki to return as I find her to be more awesome than Nerscylla

I pray thay she comes back in wilds. I would love to hunt her in a modern game. I wanna make her awesome as hell Charge Blade and other weapons. Think about with all the things that we know about wilds it makes more sense to include them in and then just leave them out. To me in the world he didn't exactly feel like the world eater because yeah he would attack the small monsters randomly but he never outright killed and eat them unless he got hungry when he is a monster that is described as usually being constantly hungry but now in miles what's the amount of small monsters in the area at once and the herd mechanics and all that good stuff joe could actually be the world eater he was always meant to be

@@RathalosWatch the reason why i'm 100% confident that Nerscylla is back because of the new system in WILDS called GROUP SKILLS which gives you set bonuses in wearing armor set of the same monster class type.

I really want to do it. Yes. But the issue and the reason why I have not done it is because Capcom have never posted an official render of it. We only have few seconds of gameplay and you can't even see its entire body with all the colors in its full glory. So I am waiting until we get more material.
