, including mobile phones from ten or even twenty years ago, which is difficult to do anywhere in the world. But there are also many profiteers in it, I hope you can distinguish clearly.

The reason you won't find Android parts in a backalley store is because the is no need for that, you can order replacement parts directly from the manufacturer.
The entire reason this market exists for iPhones is that Apple refuses to sell their parts to shops and individuals that don't want to pay their apple certification fee.

UPDATE: I finally sat down and totaled up the prices for all the parts. And I'll post it later this week. But first, I want to see how good you are at guessing what it cost. Leave your guess on this post: th-cam.com/channels/O8DQrSp5yEP937qNqTooOw.htmlcommunity?lb=UgyGG1Fq1ROMQUOW_P54AaABCQ (not as a comment on this video), and the closest guesses will get a shoutout in the video this coming weekend!
Don't worry, I hear you guys. I'll put together a full list of the parts and prices. I did keep track this time, so I have a pretty complete and accurate list. I've been at the LTX conference all weekend though, and had zero time to sit down and tally it up. But I will, I promise! I also have a bit of a surprise in store - I had the phone I built looked at by some professionals. And it turns out, not everything was quite as it seemed... Video about that coming soon!
