Grey's Anatomy is a medical-themed American drama series that tells the story of a group of doctors in a fictional hospital in Seattle as they face various patient crises, emotional entanglements, and career challenges. The show's main character, Meredith Grey, initially starts as an intern and gradually grows into an accomplished surgeon as the story progresses. The series centers around medical cases, the personal and professional growth of doctors, and their complex emotional lives, highlighting the high-pressure environment of hospital life, as well as the bonds of friendship, love, and the moral struggles of being a healer. Since its premiere in 2005, Grey's Anatomy has not only created multiple iconic characters but has also become one of the world's most beloved and long-running TV dramas.
THAT IS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!
THAT IS WHY HE IS THE GOAT!!! THE GOAT!!!
He's literally not though lol. If he was he wouldn't have play acted for the surgeon, he would have told her she was wrong and should be ashamed because a resident pointed out her mistake. It's not goat behaviour to pretend to rouse on someone of lower rank even when they were right, just to protect the feelings of a frankly sloppy surgeon
@@scarlettletterman2667 I work as a nurse. Trust me, that was the only way she would have a chance, to keep her job.
@nemesis1108 that's really tough and unfair then, I'm sorry to hear that it's genuinely like that
being an irl Webber... we claim this Doc. 😊
@@scarlettletterman2667 Dude this is the real world. Nothing is fair and if you follow the rules you will never make it.
I love the “MY OFFICE NOW FOR A FAKE SCOLDING FOR OPTICS.”
Better than really scolding her, but he should lead with integrity and tell her off for the insult at the end but not having to pretend to scold her for speaking up, as the doctor should not talk to anyone like this neither and leaders need to publicly stand their ground on what behaviour is tolerated and why, have the hard conversations instead of playing "lets keep both sides happy" but both believing I am on their side... 🤔
@TheMissTimeless The insult was needed as that surgeon spent more time playing God than she did diagnosing her patients. She didn't care about the person, just the surgeries she could do to make herself seem more important.
My boss did that when he was gathering proof against the big boss stealing son and the hardest was not laughting while he was telling me about his new paintball kit while faking to scream in his soundproof office lol
@@Terry0590that’s gold 😭😭
It’s a tried and true method for dealing with Karen’s
That’s a real man right there. He can see between the person who does it for tea and the one who does it for the title. We need more people in leadership like himself!
Eh. Why give the doctor that was wrong and not listening the impression she was right by pretending to dress this woman down?
No he wasn't. He should have reprimanded that foolish doctor for being wrong. He whimped out
How is he a real man? Nothing changed. The smug white girl will go on to ruin more people’s lives and assume anyone who talks to her like that will get chewed out like this.
@jenelle5331 the old song. High school never ends. And from what I understand. Nurses are the worst kind of mean girls.
@@SpoiledLocGurlAlways somehow make men look like the villains❤
Bailey didn't care. She always spoke her mind! Love that, Bailey!!
This is when she finally learned to. This is when she became the nazi
She finally found her voice in this scene, because she was letting everyone walk over her and treat her SMALL(even though she is the shortest out of everybody)but after this she soon became the NAZI 😅
And I loved that we got to see the story of how she found her voice
No, she didn't. Bailey talks about how she was always shy and timid with her nose in a book. This is where she learned to speak her mind and push back
She spoke her mind and was objectively right most of the time. Do not rile people up to believe making a scene is cool. A lot of this new generation is obsessed with " Calling someone out". We need to establish that you need to be objectively right before calling anyone out is cool or right.
I love that particular episode. And that’s why Richard was such an incredible leader and mentor. Too bad there aren’t more real life people, like the one portrayed by the actor.
What show is this ?
@@Queengoddessshalondareneeit’s in the description in this short
Idk what episode tho
You don't need leaders who pretend to reprimand good workers! The bad doctor should be held accountable...terrible leadership.
@Queengoddessshalondarenee greys anatomy.
(Guys of you have time to type, you could also just answer the question 😂)

It was horrible.
She was always diagnosed with eating disorder till the point when she couldn't move anything but a few fingers.
She is much better now.

HALLO FREUND!
the way she pouted at the end sent me😂😂
I know, right!?!¿

I know this is a show, but this happens in real life. Patients going through soooo much for overlooks, quick fixes, etc and when you speak up to a doctor and you aren’t a doctor or “lesser”. You get told to do as you’re told even if they’re wrong. It’s MADDENING ‼️
Do not accept that attitude. Remind them that YOU are the consumer of a service & if you happen to be American, the insurance company will be advised of their inappropriate behaviour.
Dont forget the punts. Being punted to another doctor cause they dont want to do any effort. I was punted for 3 years cause i have a rare pain problem that usually only happens to women. 7 out 8. All it cost the doctors were MY PAIN.
I told a doctor I was prone to DKA and that I probably needed insulin soon, and he told me to shut up because he's been practicing medicine since "before you were alive little girl"(my paperwork probably said "non-binary").
Also I was thirty years old, and he may have been fortyish. My partner asked if he'd been practicing medicine since he was twelve, and said that it was VERY impressive. Sarcastic AF.
I loved that one for a reason.
Edit: just btw, you can die from DKA.
As someone who actually has Variegate Porphyria, I would LOVE to chew out the jerk doctors who said I was faking, that I just wanted attention, that I was an addict, that I was crazy, etc, etc, etc. I was FINALLY correctly diagnosed in 1997 at age 37 but only after having unnecessary abdominal surgery, being partially paralyzed and in chronic pain. I gave up on my dream of being a physician because I was too sick to continue. And as anyone reading this can see, I am still resentful about doctors not LISTENING to me.
I've always had problems with my stomach. I found out at 35 that I was allergic to barley. So many Dr's thought I wanted drugs.
Man, that sucks! I think women are treated differently in medicine. I wish you could have followed your dreams of becoming a doctor because I’m sure you would have been a GREAT one! It’s hard to let go but please let go of the resentment. It’s not worth it. It only affects you. Unfortunately, those doctors went on to mistreat and misdiagnose others and I guarantee they don’t think about any of y’all. It’s a shame how many people have stories like yours. I’m glad you were FINALLY diagnosed and treated properly! I’m glad you’re here to tell about it ❤
I am so incredibly sorry you had to go through that. There's absolutely no excuse for that kind of behavior from doctors. I still don't know what's wrong with me but after being kicked out of the ER for "drug seeking behavior" and following up with the physician later who said the baseball sized cyst on my ovaries "doesn't hurt that bad, stop exaggerating", I've honestly given up on my physical health. I do what I can day to day to try to stay as healthy as I can but I know my body. I know something is wrong. I just cannot get a doctor to listen to me so I stopped trying.
God Bless you dear! 🙏🏾
So sorry 😢
I love Dr. Miranda Bailey she's so straight forward ❤
"LOSE THE SMILE" and Bailey's Face Change afterwards 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽I LOVE IT‼️
Record saying that she still has that face to this day
That part was so adorable! She was very child like in that moment ❤😂
So cute!
I love some Dr Bailey
Right?! 😆
I love her...she is probably my very favorite character in the entire series!
I have always loved the Chief and Bailey!!!!! They are the real father and daughter on the show!!!!
Work wife and work husband!
No doctor and work wife bailey.
She's chief now
I agree. But I would amend your comment to a father with two daughters, firstborn Bailey and younger sister Grey.
I know this is just a show but I still like the way he dealt with her beautifully🎉🎉🎉
By not changing anything?
Dr Bailey is the BEST one on that show
This show must suck that bad then
Which episode
She is the best.
@@vaanmathiviswanathan7183 season six “the time warp”
@@kingcreedo6010Bailey is the one with the pink glasses. What you see in this scene is Baileys past. She was an intern back then. But she's already a surgeon on the show. She really is the best. Best heart and soul. But you don't see it at the first glance 😂
I the character of Dr. BAILEY, great actress. We need one of her in every hospital.
More than one.
There are great doctors..and indiferents ones..
That was such a cute losing of the smile😂😂😂
:gotta act like I'm getting yelled at: lololol
Faking punishment to someone who isn't wrong is wrong, he should be standing up for what's right
That’s not how things work in hospitals. They are very hierarchical and Dr. Bailey, as an intern, went above a resident to cancel a surgery without permission and went off on that resident. Those are things that do not happen without repercussions. However, Webber agreed that what Bailey did was ultimately what was right for the patient, so that’s why the fake scolding had to happen.
@@seanalexandersimpsonstill, the resident should have faced consequences for this. One thing is to get scolded for hierarchy reasons, another is to let an important misdiagnosis just go away , especially if the resident wasn't listening. The aren't (or shouldn't be) mutually exclusive.
@mtclauraamaral2201 What's to say that didn't happen (the other scolding)? Not everything happens on screen. 😅
This brought tears to my eyes, actually seeing a doctor who cares
Why cry they aren't doctors but actors
Such a rarity nowadays 😢
There are a lot of doctor who care!
Once had a doctor tell me my extreme PMS issues were “all in my head”. I know how you feel 😢
I knew I liked Dr.Bailey 4 a reason. She doesn’t hold her tongue 4 NOBODY and she doesn’t care who it’s about or who she’s telling it to. Me and my dad bonded watching Dr.Bailey. Thank u 4 making wonderful memories 4 me and my dad. He’s no longer w/ us, but I still hold him close 2 my heart. Whenever I watch Dr.Bailey, I see him in her.
Good for Bailey! And that surgeon should have her license revoked.
That surgeon is lucky she didn't get sued for malpractice
Quick ,fast ,and in a hurry ! We got so many Dr's. that don't actually do their due diligence, either from incompetence or prejudice, or they're just to tired to give a damn .😢
She needs to have her eyebrows revoked
But she didn’t and she is gonna go on to do more surgery.
Nothing changed 🌈
Exactly! Terrible leader to reprimand a good doctor for doing her job while ignoring the problem surgeon because what? To save the face of a terrible practitioner!
I absolutely love Dr. Bailey 😘🥰😍
"Loose that smile" had me howling 😂😂😂😂😂
Lose*
😂😅
I love Dr Bailey. She is the best at a good “chewing”!
We love Dr. Bailey❤❤❤❤
I love her fake frown after he tells her to "lose the smile!"
Lawsuit for the snooty, ignorant, toxic Doc that cared more about being right than helping her patient. Kudos for caring Dr. Bailey ❤
But they didn’t sue.
And she kept ruining more people’s lives heart❤
THERE ARE A LOT MORE DOCTORS THAT SHOULD SPEAK UP LIKE THAT; REAL OR TV❤
True!!!!!!
I LOVE how much he respected her.
What a very nice surprise, a person in authority actually doing the right thing!
Did he ? That woman had several unnecessary surgeries that she shouldn't have and nothing happened to that doctor.
I hate going to hospitals. I was very ill back 1981 and at one point the doctors tried to talk my folks into sending me home. Saying they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I had dropped from 190 to 100 from acute throwing up and diarrhea. My folks refused. I think they threatened the hospital. The hospital finally found out I had Chron's Disease of which I needed surgery. I almost died on the operating table. I had to go back for a 2nd surgery when a nurse dropped me on my bed opening my just 1 day open stitches. She had been mean to me before this. Turns out they hadn't properly done the first surgery right.
I was so happy to get out of there.
Even though I never watched the show i can confidently say i am already inlove with doctor Bailey ❤❤❤
I still think that Doctor needed to be reemed for not being thorough and doing unnecessary surgery because she had such a high opinion of herself. That patient should sue her if possible for pain and suffering. All that surgery had to hell.
I work at a hospital and doctors really act like this, the higher your position is the more rude the people get. Especially the doctors, while going around to check on patients they barely even talk to them or let them talk, or ASK them anything.
More than 25 years ago, I had to have back surgery (just the first of many). It just so happened that my orthopaedic surgeon was the head of the ortho dept. at the hospital. The first time I went to see him, he barely looked at me, and I felt like he wasn't listening to me. So, I had my sister, a retired nurse, come with me to the next appointment. When he came into the exam room, she closed the door, and leaned up against it with her arms crossed. He looked surprised, but just smiled, and said "I'm guessing you have questions?" After that, he was always "present" if you know what I mean. We've both grown old together, doctor and patient, and now he's getting ready to retire. I told him he's not allowed, at least until I get his replacement trained!!!😂😂😂
Yes they are I have experienced it multiple times as a patient it's been like 8 years I've been going to the hospital trying to figure out whats wrong with my stomach they never really listen and just treats me like I'm constipated when it's something much worse than simple constipation no matter what hospital i go to its always the same if you don't have a lot of money and good insurance they don't care about you they just give you meds they may not work and toss you aside
Ok. But Why?
Because profit-counters have determined how many minutes they get to spend per patient.
When it should be TENS of minutes or even an hour.
Are rhey arrogant, sure. Most skilled people are. (And others😂).
But at the end of the day, its Time/$ Pressure
Lose the smile loll 😂😂😂
That had me rolling
Bailey is the doctor we all need. No nonsense, but also human, and doesn't cut into a patient needlessly.
I desperately need a Dr. like Baley😢🙏😢
Me too 😷
I love the way this man handled the situation you go brother
I've never seen this show but I support & appreciate the use of "supercilious" 😅

Oh how I love this. It is my absolute favorite scene of everyone. I’ve seen so far.
That smile at the end was hella wholesome
My favorite character. Love Dr. Bailey.
“Lose the smile,” and then the look on her face was priceless. 😅❤
One of my favorite scenes from the entire show
So fantastic. I also love it when a show de-ages and then re-ages characters with hair and makeup changes. Great job.
Love Richard and Bailey
BEST...EVER!!! Love them both!
Bailey is GOAT😂❤❤🎉
So I have Acute Intermittent Porphyria, which is the porphyria they’re mentioning here in the show….there’s different types of porphyria, but I will say this scene is incredibly accurate to how hard it is to deal with this in a hospital! I had my first attack at 13, and even AFTER being diagnosed at 21 (which is incredibly young/rare since it normally goes undetected for decades), some doctors STILL say I’m an addict, faking for attention, it’s not “that” painful, have you tried Tylenol, etc. etc. The problem comes in when the medicine to get out of an attack is literally $10,000/vile and you need 4 of them! I had 12 viles in 1 year and trying to get the insurance to cover was incredibly difficult! House did an episode on Porphyria as well, but this scene really captures the TRUE experience we get in the hospital, as well as so many people struggling with acute chronic pain! My whole life has been flipped upside down and I can’t work because of this, and it pains me to know that this experience isn’t unique, and only continues happening! 🥺
The last 2 times I was in the hospital, I was treated so badly that I told my family that I would rather just die at home instead of being taken to the ER. No one around me can understand the trauma of those hospital experiences! 😢😢
"Loose that smile" had me smiling 😂
She so adorable 😊
Baylow shouldn't have ever been a surgeon. At all. She was a fool and never listened.
She looked soo cute, after losing that smile❤❤❤😊😊😊

That's the most highly level of leadership I ever seen... Amazing 🤩 he is the Man.
She shows her concerns for others and not about just making money
Always loved Richard and Bailey!❤❤❤❤
As someone who's been chronically ill for 25 years, non blk doctors are absolutely awful to us. 95% of the time Im treated like Im not even hum@n. Ive been called names I cant even say here, physically harmed, gaslit, threat3ned, one nurse tried to unalive me and another nurse conspired woth a doctor and overdose me on morphine to force me to sign paperwork giving them permission to do an unnecessary, invasive, damaging surgery for money.
And with that last one, I had a witness that heard them too. I called her whenI was OD'ing. She also heard them talking about their plan right outside my room when she got there and made them leave me alone.
⚠️ Also, audio record your hospital visits and try to have an advocate. ⚠️
Yes they are I have been told by plenty of doctors to stay off of Google while I was explaining to the my issues they only care about who's paying more not about helping people
Bailey is such a Cuuuutie 💖💖💖💖
Let’s go Bailey!!! 😊
I love her so much that she speaks her mind 😅😅
Aside from the malpractice, those eyebrows were the real crime
That’s just the late 90s early 2000s era

😂 I’ve been in that position before. My boss pretended to scold me so my manager won’t think I was getting a talking to. His office was transparent so we DID smile and laugh 😂😂😂😂
Loved that pouty face after lol he's a great person to give her a new found sense of hope and pride ❤
From a patient that's had 9 medical mistakes. I hope you roasted. The doctor haven't seen the show, but let's hope you did. Because seriously, I'm a real person. 9 at different doctors, different hospitals, different states, 99 woke up in surgery, almost lost a leg, had a caspit on wrong, had a bladder cut when they took my ovary out, we could go on.
Love this guy and her and whole show❤!😊
