Grey's has disappointed me for a long time with April & Jaggie & Towen & Bailey. But today, with this episode its all forgotten. To see all the old patients and character mentions and flashback scenes, I'm glad that Grey's has not forgotten it roots and I cried a lot especially when "Where does the good go" played. Best episode since the one in which Meredith got the award.

This episode was so great with all the Easter eggs and flashbacks but baileys speech was one of my favorite moments because it shows no matter what these doctors go through they will always remain true friends ❤️
maybe even more than friends. family. the hippocratic oath says that we shall treat our fellow doctors as our brothers. they go through a lot, as med school is rigorous and very taxing to the mind and soul. you usually come out with a camaraderie that families share.

The promo for this episode really fooled us making us think Miranda was going to say something against Meredith. Well played ABC!
I knew Bailey would stand for Meredith. I flashed back to her "I had 5 interns. 4 of you have been on this table. One of you has cancer, one of you died. You'd better not pull anything funny on me Grey." speech. Sometimes her doctors break laws, but it's always to save a life & that commitment is something Bailey instilled in those characters.
Really? I think it was completely obvious she was going to defend her, I mean it’s greys anatomy ... after 15 seasons you can almost predict those kind of storylines.

I always cry when watching this. Even though Bailey had to turn Meredith in, she appeared here to vouch for her. She has to make some tough calls as a reminder to Meredith she's not above the law, but she still cares for her. I love their bond. Hell, she even named her own son from her. 🖤
She didn't vouch for her check from the beginning while she was being question she literally through her under the bus, even Richard called her out you call Mer family but you can't protect her, while she can bend anything for you, plus she was ashamed because of people who came to speak for Mer were all praising mer for good job so she had no otherwise, plus check when the lawyer announce that Mer get to keep her licence Bailey was not happy, and when he fired Mer, Richard, Owen, and Alex the hospital lacked surgeons because they went to work in another hospital.
Owen's smirks in the back 🥺🥺🥺 we all tend to forget that he's one of the family only because he wasn't there since the pilot . But he watched Meredith grow and become the unstoppable great surgeon she is now . He witnessed that progress and he should be proud of the person she became

I always knew that Miranda loves, admires, and is proud of Meredith. Even when she seems like at times that she doesn't, I think it's just that she gets pissed sometimes because Meredith has behaved (what is seen thru Miranda's eyes)as reckless and unnecessary risks of potentially losing the medical career that Mer's worked so hard for. I don't always agree with how funky her attitude can be at times(but I can also understand it because Mer is an extremely frustrating character for me as well)but it's basically just Miranda loving Mer and wanting her to be the best/wanting the best for her. 🤗💖

I thought this too but there is one other mention and it’s by Bailey herself when after the plane crash Meredith gets told her nickname is “Medusa” and B said ‘take it from the Nazi, it’s good to be feared’ then Richard slips that she “retired that nickname” later to find out it’s now Booty call Bailey 😂 i JUST watched that episode again lol

She could have stood for her from the beginning, I remember the hearing started with her being question and she literally threw Mer under the bus because of her jealousy, even Richard called her out for that, and this move she made because everyone was on Mer side even her patients this scene when she comes to talk Richard lawyer they had to stand because she might say some thing wrong like she did on first hearing.

Even Richard said “you sound jealous” it wasn’t coming from nowhere she acted jealous, that doesn’t mean she was jealous she was just hurt instead.
I think those people were just being dramatic because they cape for Meredith. Her many 'missteps' were laid out in the episode and folks are still saying it's Bailey's fault she was there in the first place. Like Richard, they're just unreasonable when it comes to Meredith. 😄
I think she was disapointed in Meredith, and upset that Richard was constantly putting his own career at risk to cover up for Meredith. Bailey sees Meredith and Alex as her own. She was their resident, while they were interns, so of course she is going to be disapointed, when they do stuff that could get them fired, or cost them their licenes.

I still can't believe people are hating on Bailey...... if you guys expected leniency from her, thats favouritism. Meredith CONSTANTLY MAKES SO MANY WRONG DECISIONS. She has the right intent but its always the wrong decision. Yes, the little girl was gonna be alright but she put her own kids at the risk of losing their mother and DeLuca even winded up in jail(which wasnt directly her fault but it arised because of her). Bailey was right in punishing her....having her license taken away was too far but her overall attitude towards her was completely justified

Because in her actions as chief of staff of the hospital she held people accountable for their actions? As a hospital administrator, let me say that after learning this, Bailey had not taken this course of action of firing Meredith, she would have also been fired. Webber and Karev were fired because they proved they were willing to lie to cover up insurance fraud. I know it's a TV show, but sometimes they have to at least attempt to pretend they follow rules as an actual hospital does.

I have alwsys loved that Grey's is racially diverse with their main characters and women have positions of power but I hate they portray Bailey's character so mean, nasty. Look at the way She fired the resident for expressing her disappointment because Meredith was gone. Bailey put her personal feelings over this woman's education. Bailey is horrible!
@@raephaelemasirnille5794 I don't think we should confuse compassion with hand holding. Meredith broke the law. Not just a hospital rule. Meredith isn't just a doctor at this hospital, she's part owner. Actions like that could be detrimental for the whole hospital. Bailey's job as Chief of staff isn't to coddle. It isn't the same as when she was their Resident and they were her interns. So no, she's not warm and fuzzy, she never has been, but she was doing what had to be done.
Firing Kaudry(not sure if that's spelled right) was tossed in haphazardly because the actress was leaving the show. I agree it was unnecessary that Bailey fired her that way and I believe it was just added to her tirade for dramatic effect, but she was going to be gone regardless.
@@a_noelle8595 I guess as a black woman I hate that they portray Miranda as the stereotypical angry black woman. Every time I read an article or see men on a talk show the reason they give for not wanting to date black women is their aggressive, bossy attitude. Now, we know that's a bunch of bull because we are no more angry than any other race of women. I have had many white friends and none of them are docile with their men. But always showing Miranda always so angry feeds into that stereotype. I remember the episode when Miranda was checking into the hospital when she was having her heart attack and she told the nurse behind the counter she would come across that counter if she interrupted her again. It's not okay to speak to strangers that way. I wish the writers would not make her so hard.
