Catherine, the hint that I have learned is to put 1 teaspoon of dry powdered milk per cup of whipping cream it will really stabilize it whipping cream plus I add sugar and vanilla.😊
Someone posted a video analysis of the best thing to stabilize whipped cream and it was a couple of tablespoons of pudding mix. The video showed at least 9 ingredients that are supposed to work. He photographed each one and included variables that might affect the results. I had always heard that unflavored gelatin was the best stabilizer, but the video convinced me that the pudding works the best. Taste was part of the experiment and the pudding mix passed the taste test. If you want to try it, do a search because I’m not sure of the exact amount to use. I can’t help but feel that anything is better than the frozen whipped topping at the grocery store.

I make this banana pudding for special occasions. For Christmas, I buy the Christmas-themed cookies and take my edible markers to color the designs on the cookies that are on the top. It is beautiful and well as delicious.
For an adult version, in the coffee mix my daughter adds half of the coffee and the other half made up of a mixture of Kahlua and Baileys Irish Cream which makes it really nice !!!! I don't know if you're heading for a cold Christmas, but here in Western Australia 🇦🇺 where I live, we are forecast to have 106°F on Christmas day, some places here up to 125°F all I can say is thank goodness for air conditioning. have yourself and your family a very wonderful Christmas and a prosperous new year 🎄🎁🎅🏽🤗🇦🇺🇦🇺

Some bourbon balls would be effortless and won’t heat up the kitchen. I haven’t tried them with Kahlua, but it sounds like it would be a winner. I definitely prefer bourbon to rum.
@@susantipton4036 my daughter just makes up a strong 1 cup measure of coffee & then adds enough baileys, Kahlua, either combined or just one of them enough to make it up to about 2 cups combined with the coffee, she does make 2-3 Tiramisu’s as her friends love it as well there’s no real set measured amount, sometimes there’s more alcohol added lol.. sorry.
Yummy yummy! Hi! . My sister-in-law and I go to Golden Corral buffet and I usually sit in the same spot where I'm facing the desserts. We noticed about 90% of the men that go up to the desserts get either bread pudding or banana pudding and that's out of about 50 choices! Same thing my hubby would have gotten. I make a lime cheesecake pie, I also make a orange cheesecake pie, and I also make a lemon cheesecake pie everybody loves them and they're so easy to make. I'm only seeing two of your videos so far and I'm stuck on the first one cuz I'm going to be making some of the Christmas candy this week that I've never made before. I know my son is going to love it and so are my neighbors family and friends. I'm also going to be putting together Russian tea for family and friends they just don't know it yet look that up Russian tea. Supposedly it is a good tea to use if you're feeling under the weather. Hot tea usually helps and my son really likes drinking hot tea especially Earl Gray and lemon so if you get a chance look up the Russian tea I think you might enjoy that. These all look utterly divine! Growing up, I was the *only one* in my whole (large) family who *never* liked the old fashioned, cooked banana pudding w/merengue, that my mother & grandmother always made. Some of them even ate while it was warm still warm out of the oven {{revolting}}. YOUR style of banana pudding is what I love! Cool whipped topping and vanilla pudding. Mmmm… THAT’S what banana puddin’ should be! 😋

We made ours not only with strawberries but with raspberries & peaches. Ours was always frozen instead of fresh & only used half as much cold water. Turned out great.We were preparing for hundred ➕ though instead of just a family. Thought l'd pass on about the other fruits. Have a Merry Christmas 🤶🎄❤

I made it with Lorna Dune shortbread cookies and I agree with you that these cookies stay firm and are more enjoyable to eat. The only thing bad about this recipe are the calories. These all look delicious! I use almost exactly the same banana pudding recipe, but I always use the chessman. I also put a little layer of the cream cheese mixture over the cookies first, then the bananas and then the rest of the mixture. My sister always wants me to make this, the cookies just takes it up another level!

We are in SE Texas and are looking at 82 on Christmas day. The cold weather doesn't really get here until early Jan and last through Feb.
