My husband and I are empty nesters after raising our seven adult children and now we’re crazy about our six grandchildren ( another thank you for helping us keep them happy with your dessert recipes). Your show is a gift to many families out here and you make sure we are clear on the ingredients and that they are not going to put us in debt and today that’s becoming harder and harder with inflation making it almost impossible to make anything extra like dessert. I truly believe that Catherine and her cute and funny family are just good God loving people too, and you're right about the things that are so hard to come by with this crumbling of the Country and Aren't We So blessed to have the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior and I am so thankful that I have that choice and I pray more Young people will accept Christ too. I know that you will plant that seed in your little ones. My oldest son was brought up in the Church, but became a Methamphetamine addict and he has been out of the Church for a while now and he also gave me my FIRST GRANDSON and I have only seen him for about 30 minutes after his birth, but my son has hard feelings about me not giving him money for his addiction and I have never been allowed to see my grandson ever since, he is 4 years old now, but I honestly believe that my son has that light inside of himself and the Good Lord will see him back to the light. I guess I would like you to say a prayer for me and my family to be reunited and I will know my grandbaby boy. I can imagine how you would feel in that situation. Sorry for writing so much, I just felt that love in you and your family and I am hoping you can say that prayer. I hope you will keep watching Catherine, my whole family just watches her all evening on most days. Anyway Merry Christmas to you and your family.🤗💜

I have made the sock it to me cake for over 50 years, only once I used the filling, I make it as a plain pound cake and everyone loves it! It’s a very old Duncan Hines recipe made with the yellow Butter box
You can make a simple, warm weather cake using a 15 ounce can of crushed pineapple, undrained, and a box of angel food cake mix. Simply replace the water called for on the box with the undrained pineapple. Mix per the package directions and bake in an ungreased angel food cake pan for the indicated time. After baking, it comes away from the pan when you run a knife between the pan and the cake. Unmold it as usual and serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
