    I respect the amount of detail and time you're putting into this build. The Legacy is a great platform to work on.

    From the endling brackets left to right.I get 42 inches plus the end.Links are an inch and 3/8 thick.So I'm rounding off.I need a thirty nine inch wide sway bar

    It's looking beautiful. Interested to see how the ride quality is with that coilover setup.

      So far on the quick shake down drives I have done I am blown away by them, much smoother than the strut and spring combo I had on it before. I'll definitely be posting a video driving the car talking about how everything feels though.

    I need to travel in the past and tell my past self to buy the SpecB when I was in Denver...or at the very least a LGT Wagon 6spd.

    hey man what rear sway bar do you have ? how wide is it ? I just did all white line control alarms.And JDM aluminum trailing arms and for some reason.My stock sway bar is about two inches to wide

    Do you have any clearance issues with the sway bar and the spare tire tub? Clean looking build!

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope! Bolt on application, these sway bars are LGT specific

    Hey man. I just got a 06 legacy wagon it’s NA auto not the GT. Trying to lower car on stocks and wondering if sedan legacy and wagon legacy are the same under. As in I can get legacy coils and throw em on the wagon?

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The wagon being heavier in the rear does require more spring to support the weight, this use why you’ll see sedan and wagon specific springs. With coilover, I’d imagine you’ll just step up in spring rate. Fortune Auto helped me spec my coils for the wagon and we went with 10k front and rear. I never spec’d coils for a sedan, but I’d imagine you’d usually go a little softer in the rear. So yes and no. The coils will fit, just be mindful of spring rates.

    I'm doing this FA 500, w/Hyperco springs; 8K/8K, suspension swap on my '06 OBXT as I type (waiting for " ⛅️ " to happen cuz it feels like 96+° BEFORE direct sunlight). According to my instructions, fronts get a quarter of an inch of preload and the rear get an eighth of an inch inch preload but you said you're doing a quarter of an inch in the rear also. So which is correct; you or my instructions?

      Fortune auto also told me to put ⅛ in the rear

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re totally right, it’s a 1/8th inch in the rear. I misspoke in the video but set my coils to 1/8”

    what size in mm are your swift springs ? cuz i’m trying to buy they correct swift springs and i think i’m gonna go with the 152mm length 10k springs

      inner diameter of 62mm

      I’m not sure the exact spring size as I just opted for swift options when spec’ing the coilover

    Where did you source the spec b control arms?

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I got them from a guy in the LGT Facebook group who parts out spec b’s, but honestly I wouldn’t buy from him again. He lied about when he shipped them, they showed up in a barely taped box that has come open, had no packing material, and was missing a bracket that he said he’d ship me before ghosting me. I’d check out jdmemergency.com. I bought my diff brace from him and the customer service was awesome. Plus he vapor hones the arms!

    You ever consider carbon fiber driveshaft?

    • @avengednick
      @avengednick  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hadn’t even gotten that far on this build plan yet cause I’m planning to swap a spec b 6 speed in at some point. I’ll have to do a bit more research to see if there’s any major downside to running a carbon driveshaft on a street car
