Canadian here. Seeing this, I patted my wife's head. She patted right back, no questions asked. So, I know my marriage is rock solid, ..weird but solid.
Just don't ever pat someone's head in Thailand. I heard it's really offensive to do so. I figured I'd mention it since someone might get the wrong idea and think head patting is a more universal Asian cultural thing.
Also read this. Apparently it’s to do with Buddhism and the head being the highest point to the divine, or something. Also why it’s rude to show the holes of your feet to someone.
IDEA NEW VIDEO. Ask Japenese women, if two men asks them out, one is a handsome, successful businessman and the other is a strong and brave Samurai, which one will they chose?
I was on a train in Japan recently. I accidentally conked a girl on the head with my elbow. Without even thinking about it I patted her head and said gomen nasai. Later I thought maybe it was weird for me to do that, but after watching this video I think maybe it was perfect. I hope so. Always hoping to be extra polite in Japan.
there doing it wrong you need to first complete the quest with the garbage man then go to the nearest elixir merchant to get the love potion give it to them then perform the dance ritual in order to seduce the mate with only a jockstrap then roundhouse kick them and show respect by bowing afterwards. then you can ottome ponpon while there passed out on the ground, you can also do it do drunk salary men that are passed out on the ground at night in kabukicho lol

is not a trend, the Japanese have been doing this for a long time. The purpose is to show affection and support to your girlfriend or a child for example.
@@themobileprepper5730why would anyone need it? Because some of us in the human population like it and would want some affirmation and care. It's fine if some part of the human population doesn't like it as well. Just understand on a mental note that some of us like it and all is fine.

That's a seriously good idea for a future #Interviewing Japan video. Ask girls why they cover their mouth and if they'd like to unlearn that unconscious habit.
I like the humor in your videos 👍🏻

Lol that's fantastic. You know you got a good one when she returns your kindness.
Which "head" was she patting ? ...if the result was "rock solid".

Yup could be the last thing you do before you meet your maker, very serious disrespect in Thailand.

Very interesting, as a male, I always feel very insecure and uncomfortable when someone tries to pat my head.
That's because you're a guy. Girls like it more

I don't understand why anyone would pat a woman on the head .....it may be okay to do it for a dog.....but a person? That's patronising quite frankly.
