The people in Osaka are way more conservative(which is good) compared to Tokyo. From the videos I’ve seen, people in Tokyo think cheating is normal while people in Osaka hate the thought of cheating. Very interesting to see the difference.

Thanks for the comment. I hadn't considered regional differences in attitudes towards cheating but it's definitely possible.

To be more precise, most of the videos asking about cheating are shot in Shibuya and Shinjuku. To be honest, most people who go to Shibuya and Shinjuku are promiscuous. I think you'll hear a very different opinion if you ask them in the suburbs of Tokyo, for example.

@@ALLKASDLLS-mg4lu its because people in tokyo mostly are cold to stranger. they wont accept interview . probably only 1 in 20 will agree to be interviewed. shibuya and shinjuku are more open for stranger since its a place for nanpa.

Yeah there's definitely some selection bias. People in Osaka are known to be far more open in general so these interviews are probably easier to do, while most interviews done in Tokyo are done around the Shibuya/Shinjuku areas where the most open people are - but also all the seedy nightlife culture. Would be interesting seeing interviews done elsewhere in Tokyo, and maybe in other nearby cities like Yokohama or Chiba.

No, surely not!! There's no way someone who asked you out on a date could interested!

It simple don,t touch, ,,unless she trips and falls flat on her face. Two take her somewhere nice,, but not what you think is nice but she thinks is nice, hint she won't tell you,, you have to read the air. Three read the air again as to share the cost or you pay. Any failure here is a deal breaker. But she does expect you to pay so choose carefully. Uhh, if she shows with a friend for the date give her friend all the attention eat the food, look at your watch, stand up go pay for all and leave. If she texts you just tell her it was the best date ever and move on.

@@Patrick-s1c4p just my experiences in the mine field of dating in Japan. If you are gaijin she will agree to a date but she will always bring a friend and want to go somewhere cheap. Meaning you are,nt expected to pay!! Read the air is in play always!!! It,s a part of tatemae,, the false front. The example I gave is when you have decided to cut your losses.

I dated a girl long time ago from Japan here in the states and she told me she wished I was more tactful. So I don’t believe these gals.

You need to make a part 2, you forgot the most important question: kiss or no kiss on the first date?
