If you put Japanese subtitles in these videos as well I think your channel will grow very quickly. The Japanese learning community is huge. And besides, people who are interested in Japanese interview videos such as these probably have some interest in learning the language anyway. 宜しくお願いします!

I love watching you, you are very similar to a youtube channel in the West with your style of questioning, which makes you stand out to other Japanese street interviewers which is a delight to be honest.

Your questions a better than most channels I've seen.
I like how you start with very basic questions, but then slowly dive into the person's honest feelings.
Even when they're full on tatemae mode, your questions are framed in such a way that the viewer can judge for themselves whether the interviewee is blatantly lying or not.

It's a difference between assertive and unreasonable.

The editing on this was clever by showing what girls think guys want and what guys actually want.

A woman who speaks her mind is a good wife to have. If they are always assertive and dominant it’s a turnoff.

Funny last question but got out their personalities a bit more. Brilliant. Loved the income question too.

Personally, a strong, intelligent woman who speaks her mind is very attractive. Being an American it seems logical

Are you British? You have that kind of humor with little sprinkle of sarcasm in the interview questions.

Why would anyone want someone who doesnt speak their mind? Its not genuine if they just agree all the time even though deep down they disagree

Welcome to Japan. It’s actually looked down upon to speak your mind and “be negative” aka not agree with whatever someone says. You can complain about their opinion later in private when you go home. If you live with them, you just suck it up.

It was surprising to hear the opinions of these women, they all seemed quite assertive in their own way.
The four women together were very interesting to me, they seemed very positive, and outspoken.

I like to know where you are conducting the interviews. Would there not be a significant difference in answers if conducting the same interview in Kansai vs Kanagawa?

I think being stubborn and assertive with their dreams and goals is extremely attractive as well as when they genuinely are right (in cases where men treat them wrong). But the assertive virtue signaling masculine-trying die-hard feminists are not and will never be

My Mother was a model for DIOR in Paris in the 1950's. She married my dad, they were married happily 50 yrs...she was a virgin when she met my dad. She never really ever fought or even cursed....very feminine...but my dad would swim the ocean for her she was so sweet she would get him to do anything that seemed important to her......Women dont have to be assertive to the one they love for Love is caring and patient.

Assertiveness can exhibit many characteristics. Talking on only one of them may get negative responses.

Being stubborn and look for a man is good if the man is good. If the catch is a good fish, that is a good catch.

6:12 When they won’t say what’s on their mind, they are challenging you to figure it out, and especially younger girls have a tendency think being loved mean having your mind read.

But being the quiet woman can be for two reasons at least; the first is that they are oppressed, and the second is that they are being taken care of so they have nothing to argue about. No?
