Oh wow! That's great to hear. Thanks so much for the kind words. I sold my PC in 2011, but was just thinking the other day that I still have a spare trunk up in my attic! Guess I'd better make it up there one of these days....
Hi I'm a new PC 800 owner I wanted to say THANK YOU for posting such awesome helpful videos those plastics were kind of an enigma to me before your video thank you!! P.S you have the cleanest bike I have seen. Charlie
@NHfreeenergy it monitors my charging system. Green means all systems go, which it usually shows. It mounts "in-line" on the charging system, and the light bulb sticks up through a drilled hole in the plastic, with some silicone glue to hold it in place. The PO put it on some years ago as the PC has known issues with electricity.
I recently picked up a 1996 PC 800. Having a lot of fun with this bike. Your videos have been extremely helpful in getting to know the ins and outs of this bike. I am trying to pull the front fender and/or brake caliper covers off. Is there a trick to doing this? I don’t want to risk breaking any plastic. Thanks!
I never worked on the front calipers, and I sold my 96 PC years ago. Wish I knew where it ended up! Best of luck to you. They're great bikes. I rode mine all over the country.
Now I know why the center covers on my "new" 89 PC800 do not fit together in the middle. Should be an easy fix now that I know why. BTW, are there any bibs on the carbs or intake to attach vacuum lines to balance the two carbs?
I sold my PC 10 years ago next month, and honestly can’t recall balancing the carbs. I know I did it! Just don’t remember how I attached the manometer. Good luck with the ‘new’ bike from the year I graduated college. Haha
I think that you will find they are JIS screws, not Phillips. Honda (most Japanese) use JIS screws. Use a JIS screwdriver and find the job so much easier.
@ludatuner1 Thanks. I traded in my shiny PC back in August after trying to sell if for a month or more! I ended up getting a BMW R1200RT, which in my opinion is the perfect PC replacement bike. Unfortunately, I've got to figure out where everything is all over again now...
To replace the starter motor I need to take the carbs off. After unscrewing the connecting tubes bands screws do I have additional screws/bolts (I can't see) to remove prior to pull out the carbs? Tx
neat video but not one japan bike has Phillip head . They all JSI Japan industrial standard and that is why they end up toasted if you didn't know it . Looks like but different and when you use Philips the JSI top well cam out if you use to much force on it . Neat pc800 videos .
The better question is this, where the hell can I find replacement air filters other than k&n. I'm not interested in paying for a name, especially one attached to a filter that doesn't filter
I hope you know 13 years later your videos are still helping people😭😭💪 I just got my first Pc800

Excellent video despite it being on here for many many years. Looks a lot easier than I thought it would be. Thanks
Hi,
just bought a PC a few months ago and is about time for an oil change.
Nice video.
Thanks
I really enjoy your PC800 videos. I refer to them often even for just getting plastics off correctly. DONT stop making them.
thanks
All your videos are most helpful. Many thanks and long live the PC 800

P.S. These videos have saved me a fortune in hourly fees.
Make a small contribution to your local greyhound rescue organization!
Or mine...Keystone Greyhounds. Every little bit helps.
Thank-you for these quality videos!
Thank you, thank you , thank you. Was so intimidated till saw this video.
Great taste in music too...
This is invaluable to me, as a prospective PCS buyer. Both in terms of understanding the beast, but also for inspecting a bike before I buy it.
No problemo. Happy to help.

Silicone spray clips and grommets makes removal a bunch easier
Fast Forward to June 2021. I paid $45 for my air filter . Strangely, a set of rear brake shoes costs about the same thing.
Whoa! They’re 45 bucks now?? They must be made out of virgin Canadian lumber. Haha
thank you for this helpful video....now i need to learn how to remove the battery too from a 1990 PC (newbie here) thanks for any tips!
You don't have this motorcycle anymore but what would you say would be the first to get modification. I'm getting a used one for a commuter bike

It would be a good idea to also change the plugs now that you have all the panels off.
Well done.
THANKS for going through all the trouble of filming and editing. I know it isn't easy and often takes hours.
Mehatestaxes no problemo!
Thank you !)))
Just bought a new Honda air filter today, the price is up to $43.75!!! The K&N is only a few dollars more...less than 50.
Thanks for the helpful videos! As an aside, what is the three color LED for?

True, true. The one in the PC toolkit is best. Not sure why I didn’t just use that one.

Never did that fix, and I traded my PC in on an R1200RT back in 2011. Best of luck to you!
can I have a video for cleaning the carb bowls please? I have a stuck one leaking ;)
thanks

Thanks et help a lot
Omg all that for a air filter.
