there just isn't any good reason to do this, but a lot of good reasons not to. Chief among which is an electric fuel pump that will keep pumping as long as the key is on.

I know it's been a while since you posted this video, but you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about this bike. I just recently bought one and I can't seem to get the brake lights to come on. Neither one turns on when the foot brake or brake lever is depressed. Do you have any ideas as to what it could be? Thanks in advance!

The better question is this, where the hell can I find replacement air filters other than k&n. I'm not interested in paying for a name, especially one attached to a filter that doesn't filter

neat video but not one japan bike has Phillip head . They all JSI Japan industrial standard and that is why they end up toasted if you didn't know it . Looks like but different and when you use Philips the JSI top well cam out if you use to much force on it . Neat pc800 videos .

Fyi...Never use conventional oil for a motorcycle they do NOT have the sufficient zinc and phosphorus needed that motorcycle oils have !!

I would leave the covers off, and not cut a hole in them. That way you can easily return it to stock if you decide to sell it.

Just picked up an 89 for $500 bucks with 55K. This has to be one of the industry's first attempts at MAKING people take them into the shop. Worse than a scooter.
