It is these very people from Channel 9 that transformed us from just viewers to connoisseurs. Great to see Chappelli alive n kickin' And Tubby with his usual useful insights. 2 great captains, great cricketers, great minds, great commentators ...a delight for all original cricket fanatics ❤
Ian Chappell sir, you’ve been a guiding light for cricket fans like me, even though I never saw you play live. Your commentary, filled with honesty, wisdom, and a rare lack of bias, has always stood apart. In a world where many follow the broadcasters’ agenda, your voice remained genuine, echoing the true spirit of the game. You’ve shown us what it means to be a true cricket warrior, not just with your bat, but through your words as well. Respect, always. Your legacy isn’t just in your runs or leadership, but in the way you made us see cricket with integrity. You’ll always be remembered not just for your skill, but for being a voice of reason and respect in a sport we all love.
Wish Ian Chappell could come back to commentary, his commentary is at another level unmatched ! Although heard he has health issues so good luck to him, but he still can speak so good..
God Bless Chappelli… I am a great fan of him when ever I am down and out I go to ESPN Cricinfo column and his videos on the platform to cheer me up. And Tubby is the best captain ever in Test Cricket…
I'm here today after the Perth test. India's bowlers not only showed good form coming in directly from a 0-3 loss, the batters also were scoring runs, esp Kohli who got highlighted (rightly) as not having runs under his belt in recent matches. This win in Perth came from far left field and took many by surprise. Bumrah was outstanding, Siraj bowled well to complement him and both were supported well by Sundar, Reddy and Rana. Not only that, there is news that Shami is with the squad and most likely play at Adelaide. I'd continue with the same team, only replacing Rana with Shami. Rohit/Gill both sit out for now.
I like the way Chappell is treated with "kid gloves" by both Taylor and whoever that journalist is (why do they do this) when he is the most knowledgeable by far and also the best to ask an opinion on anything cricket. Is it due to the fact that he is old? Better watch our Taylor, your time is coming!!!
Great segment, well produced. As others have mentioned, always great to hear Chappelli call it like he sees it (with which, personally, I tend to usually concur)
starc gets a free pass from all experts in Australia. only great Shane warne spoke truth about Starc's ability in test cricket. Australia 2 bgt loss at home is very much on starc's shoulders for his wayward bowling
i'm confused, why do they think not playing konstas against india mean they'll have to play him against england? he's still so young, you can wait till after the ashes when khawaja is likely to retire
India was very confident vs NZ at home and paid the price for that. India vs Australia - both sides have batting issue but with Shami not available India have headaches in bowling too. Australia favourites to start with.
well the guy has only played 3 FC games right now so pretty small sample size, plus only an opening position is in question. the rest of the order is pretty set at the moment.
@@nikinfo25t49 only jaiswal is in form rest are not. we have taken rahul as back up keeper who is not able to put bat on ball, rishab pant looks injured. Bumrah is bowling well but siraj is not, shami is unavailable. If we still win the series oh man that will be the greatest joy for us. Let's see
Good to see Chappelli. God bless this South Australian legend.
You mean complete muppet
Absolute legend
@brotherben4357 South Australian legend. First and foremost.
@@larrygerry985 respect and acknowledge. He did his but for SA cricket way before the test team.
No legend acts the way he did when botham offered the peace deal. Silly stubborn fool.
Chappelli always provides excellent insight, doesn’t talk rubbish and the good thing is that he likes cricketer who are aggressive.
Listening to chappel after so long. I was surprised that he knew Akash Deep to begin with 🤯. Legend for a reason 🙌🏽.
That's my reaction everytime an ex-cricketers from other countries take Akashdeep's name. I am like, “they know his name!" lol, dunno why that is. 😂
@@VividhKothari-rd5ll cuz of his skiddy nature maybe. His bowling on those hard Australian pitches gonna determine how far are we going this time.
He's like Kerry O'Keefe. Watches everything
Why don't we have Ishant Sharma?? If Aussies pace squad is same from 10 years why not India's? Ishant is still in form and was amazing in IPL 2024
Nab i miss cricket, Mark taylor was not only a great commentaqtor but was a gret captain and a great brain, and Ian Chapple tells great stories
No analysis in Australia is complete without Ian Chappell. Always love to hear him speak
Great to hear from Ian Chappell! A cricketing and broadcasting legend.
Chappelli still going strong. Good to see

Always loved Ian Chappel commentary and analysis. Miss him in the comm box. Very underrated and calm explanation
Just love Hearing Ian Chappell
Sad to see chappelli getting old
Wishing him Good health
You are getting younger?
@Nothing-kr5hn no one does mate but the point is when someone whom u like a lot starts getting to very old age u start getting a bit sad that's it
Any day Ian Chappell is the best commentator in my books, good to see him.
Ian has always a bigger vision than average of us. Absolutely enjoy watching him talking about cricket.
I love listening to these two.
Australia two greatest captains over the last fifty years.
I’d pick Waugh and Ponting myself, but two great captains none the less.

13 wickets and a run out from santner. Amazing match. Go NZ
my all time fav greg chappel childhood memories nostalgia as a commentator but looks really old now as i m also touching 40 now. surely time flies
That's Ian not Greg
@shaynewest8757 my mistake u r right ian chappel

Mark Taylor doesn't age, he looks the same as 30 years ago
Ian chappel and mark taylor❤ greeting from srilankan fan

Love the frankness of the Australian Media.
Put cricket back on channel 9!
Two Great aussies two great experts of the game Ian Chappell and Mark taylor absolutely brilliant as always
Our good old Chappelli getting older. Last of the legends.
Wishing him a good health
What a pleasure to hear 2 of the smartest cricket brains in Australia
Ian Chappell breaks things down better than anyone.....straight to the point.....

Love this show so bloody keen for the summer!!
💪
I am from India , ian Chappell is legendary commentry person and cricketr 🏏
Reference of what Harsha Bhogle spoke with Ian is bang on!
The fact that the experts feel it will be 3-2 and not 5-0 says a lot about what they feel will really happen which is 3-1 in favor of India
Bleed in young talent, the team is old and needs the future to start playing ASAP!!!!
Yes australia should groom young players
Dont be afraid to lose a test
When Ian Chappell and Mark Taylor talks we went to hear again again and again
Thank you sir chappel n Sir Mark Taylor speaking out...i really enjoyed every word of my great legends 👌🤟👍🤝❤
What about poor old Jye Richardson? Superb bowler who never gets a break. He's got and in form I believe, and should be one of the reserves.
I believe even though he is in form, therebwas a comment made on concerns for consistency due to injuries.
he'll probably just be a odi/t20 specialist. feel bad for him, but he's had too many injuries and too fragile.
Always nice to see chappelli …. A great cricketing mind
Benaud ,Ian Chapel & Taylor were good commentators & analysts .very informatve
Always a pleasure to listen to Chappeli, my favourite commentator. Hope Star sports onboard him for this BGT.

I don't quite understand how it was kid gloves? I felt like it was just massive respect for Chappell's words, just listening.
Akash deep must listen to the chappelle statement and must be inspired from this
I love Ian ..he has so much knowledge that any other bloke alive.
Ian Chappel & Nasser Hussain are great analysts
Ian chappell always spot on 👍....luv from india 😊
Has Ian Chappell wrote a book on cricket? If he has, I want to hear him narrate it.
Since he's aging you can use AI.
Ian Chappell analysis of the cricket 🏏👏🙌 Loved it 👏
Maaan I ❤ Ian Chappell.
One can listen to Ian Chappell endlessly!
Fantastic talk to eachother
Ian Chappell at 81, great to listen to👍

Australia 2 bgt loss at home is very much on starc's shoulders for his wayward bowling
Starc gets a free pass because he plays for NSW...and only a Victoria legend in Warnie had the guts to tell the truth...
Chapelli, love him.
Ian Chappel 👏 👏 👏
Correctly said about reverse sweep option by great Chappel ❤
Ian Chappell has never been one to dodge an issue
The "ASHES" keep test cricket alive..💪
Can we have more outside the rope please?
For India,both
Abimanyu and Harshit will make their debut in Aus.,in my view
And we know ,Aus is a tough place for debutants.
what better place than Aus than a damp squib at home against weaker opposition!
Gill, Kohli debuted in Australia. And survived. Australia also ended the careers of Devang Gandhi, Bhardwaj, kanitkar,
Great Nice insight!
Ian chappell great analyst of the game
The old TV cricket reports were a joy to watch 😀
Love the talk from India
Who else to call Spade a spade but Chappelli!!
Never ever underestimate 🇮🇳 cricket
More Chappelli please.
Akashdeep should be the happiest man today !!
Love Tubby and Chappelli. Don’t mince their words and speak a lot of sense.
This is how a cricket show should be run. Both former captains who know a thing or two about winning, and captaining a cricket team
Good yarn boys. They should go with the young fellas .
My 11 for Perth test
Khawaja
McSweeney
Labuschagne
Smith
Head
Marsh
Inglis
Cummins
Starc
Lyon
Hazlewood
Pure magic ✨
Intresting summer. I believe Australia should win this time. However, dont count india out yet.
Great discussion
Good point chappel don't understimate akashdeep,he should play ahead of Siraj
Akash Deep is more consistent with line and length

I feel better to lose test rather than win all tests and finally India lose in wtc finals😂
Need an aggressive opener to match uzzie
Mark Taylor is legend
Bring two new young opner batsmans for future test team . Also bring a young middle order batsman in BGT. It is very important for Aus.
nah mate ussie is the man for now but otherwise agreed
As much as I want India 🇮🇳 to do well in Australia 🇦🇺 I agree with Mark Taylor, I think Australia will win the series by 3-1 this time
Surprise no one mention Connolly. Dude averaged 68 in Shield and can offer handy sla.
He is a future all 3 formats super star Cooper Connolly is a very young batter who knows how to play according to the situations
well the guy has only played 3 FC games right now so pretty small sample size, plus only an opening position is in question. the rest of the order is pretty set at the moment.
Channel 9 cricket is back!!
I missed mark Taylor commentary from India 🇮🇳
With the current state of mind of Indian side. It ll be great even if they win 1 test. The WTC final chances are slim
If the Australian bowlers can swing the ball they should win comfortably.
I say it’s gonna be 4-1 in Aussies favor. It will be end of Kolhi and Rohit
Can the interview guy understand his role. To extract insights. His opinion means as much as mine.
Don't know why go for Taylor's nostalgic ,you can easily make an episode on it in separately altogether, better to restrict it on BGT .🤫
Bancroft must play after 3 years of total dominance in Aus domestic cricket.
.
Done nothing this year so far!
Ship sailed as far as Bancroft is concerned
@@bensantowski467 his ship has sailed after total dominance for the last five years?
Out of form
Outside the Rope is back for 2024/25.
Ian Chappell is the Shelby Foote of Australian cricket. Or maybe Shelby Foote is the Ian Chappell of the American Civil War?
Seeing Indians current batting form looks 5-0 in favour of Australia
It was the same prediction (4Aus-0) whitewash by pundits wen India toured Australia 2020-21 with kohli announcing his unavailability for 3 tests
