N🔥CE Setup 💪🏽, my installer was going nuts! 😆......on his first install on a Truck. He had to do "his first truck and a boat." Did thousands of cars but never a boat or truck.
That customer was loaded with money, then he wanted him to do his entire house next!😮 🤣 Something else he never did, but the man had faith in him since he did all his hot rods 👍🏽

Here's a possible comment in English for the TH-cam video titled 2022 Peterbilt Stereo System Setup:
Wow, this is an amazing setup! The sound quality is incredible and I love how you were able to get everything set up so nicely inside the cab. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

Go Bigger on Sub Tho... His mid-range and tweeters are going to blow those subs out! I'd definitely go 15's or 18's ....12s are good but 2000RMS watts or more to combat with that big motor 💪🏽

Aww & the subs are firing at him! Reminds me of my first box install😆 (nothing against you fine gentlemen).....
My very first install went that way. I had three 12" W6V2's w a RF T1000 Power. I specifically said to my guy "build a box w all 3 subs firing towards the back-trunk 3.5cu ft or a 4thorder(if it's firing towards me thru ski rack hole) or a fiberglass box, if he wanted to go smaller......(If not 4th order then do a cutout 4X10" in the backseat center console). I also told him, I don't care about space or spare tire... anything, use the whole Trunk!
So what he do, he built the box for only two subs firing at me @1.0 cu ft for both🤦🏽‍♂️..... (I mean when I took the subs out they barely even fit.) I asked him "wtf why did you do that?" I didn't buy 3 subs to run 2 🤨.
He said "oh it's because those speakers are very expensive, so I put your spare sub down with your spare tire & made this lil cool board (a damn thin piece of cardboard) that blocks your speakers & your amp in your trunk." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 & That'll be $1,500. 😮 Im really like WTF, after a $450 quote!
I told him "no immediately" & tear that sh!t down "make my box how I asked."😡
He said please drive around the block and hear it, trust me you'll love it. So I did, immediately came back, asked for a screwdriver & started taking it apart. Got my crowbar out, tore that damn box out in front of him "it wasn't even 3/4 MDF" It was some cheap type of plywood....that was only a half an inch & 1/4 in some spots 🤦🏽‍♂️. I swear you got to watch these schemers & scammers. (Not these gentlemen here tho, this customer probably asked for the install that way)
So after a bunch of argument and me refusing to pay, he refunded me my money & I went my way. (NBA Audio Van, WA. Guys a ripoff)
It came out that this guy was just very lazy, he liked to do sh!tty half-ass jobs with cheap wire.
That was my fault I should have reviewed this guy before I went to him. But you live and learn.
Oh I went to Home Depot baught a sheet of mdf 3/4's, cheap table saw and jigsaw, just built my own box. That was 13 years ago and I still have the box 💪🏽

Were you able to retain the steering wheel controls for the radio? If so what product did you use.

How did you power the 12v system from the 24v truck?

Have you ever heard of anyone converting the 4x6 above the doors to 6x9? Not sure if there’s any merit in doing it but curious if it’s a possibility without serious modifications

They value is good and lots of people like the android software. But we have found these radios are have more tablet features vs radio features. The radio in this semi is 2nd to none with all the sound processing features on It and sound quality. But if someone is on a budget those android radios bring a lot of features to the table at a fraction of the price. Hope that helps
