Nice trip down memory lane. We rocked up in a rented 6 berth motorhome to Cosy Corner South (just north of Swimcart) late one night a couple of years ago and couldn't really see anywhere to park and ended up just staying in the turning circle right by the path to the beach. Caught sunset over the rocks which made the red colours just stunning! Early morning was gorgeous too! Walked up a bit north to some stunning rocks (cosy corner north?) before driving down to Binalong. I think this impromptu spot was one of my favourite of our whole trip. Can't wait to go back again in our own caravan, just the two of us! BTW crayfish pizza looked divine. Making me hungry!
Had painted crayfish pizza at a little takeaway shop at Punsand Bay on our cape york trip. bloody awsome so we had 2 lol.We are doing 4weeks in tassie in october cant wait to show my family my tassie i knew as a kid.
Quote "Its pretty impractical to carry a pizza stone around with you". Yet you have a thermomix and a very big coffee machine. 😂😂 A pizza stone takes pizza to the next level. I know what I would pack first. Always enjoy your videos 👍👍
Must admit I miss good company where I spend the winter season this year. I make up for it following several people/ couples for years, sailing, driving, globetrotting. You are the aussie family alternative. I am a slightly disabled senior citizen, so it suits me fine to be in TH-cam free of charge adventures! I really appreciate your special adventure! Some years ago (2004-2008) crisscrossed whole of Australia, up to 3 months each time, including Tassie!
A lobster has two large claws/pincers 🦞when crayfish don’t. A good video, love the pizza idea, don’t have a thermomix so what recipe do you use for the pizza base please.
Well there you go! Pizza Dough 220 g water, room temperature 1 tsp sugar or malt powder 2 tsp dried instant yeast (8 g) or 20 g fresh yeast, crumbled 400 g strong white bread flour 30 g extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for greasing 1 tsp fine sea salt
Lobster & crayfish are the same east coasters as you know call them lobsters & the Mexicans, and the convicts (Tasmanian’s ) south Australians call them crayfish
Absolutely loved this one guys. Perfect mix of exploration and life on the road. Thank you.
Love Bay of Fires caravanning and so lucky to live here x
It's incredible!
Great episode, Tassy Seaford oh how good.
For sure! Thanks Neil
The pizzas looked amazing
Spot on pizza. We loved exploring Eddystone lighthouse. Just up the rd. We clambered over the rocks from the boat ramp to the lighthouse.
Ah, bugger. We missed the Eddystone lighthouse. We ran out of time!

Thanks for sharing Carla. Often the most umplanned parts of travel are the most memorable.
