BROKE DOWN! ~ Sleeping Overnight At A Chevy Dealership ~ Urban Camping!

- Hey everyone! In this video we encounter some issues with the truck, and was literally broke down right in a chevy dealership parking lot, and had to stay there overnight. Luckily they had what I needed in stock and was able to hit the road again and do some exploring in Estes Park Colorado.

Dropped a fuel pump one time and the dealership towed us plus our travel trailer right into the garage on a Saturday! We cooked lunch for everyone while they swapped fuel pumps and sold me a spare. They got really nice tips!

Yeah I like easy free fixes haha. But almost left us stranded out In the middle of nowhere. Once we shut it off at the dealership it wouldn't start again. But back on the road. Thanks for following!

Haha yeah, watched one to many of those commercials I guess, and it just came out haha. But yeah all is good now, not to bad for a overnighter, but would definitely find a better spot if available.

I had A/C belts on my 05 Tahoe. The clicking noise is the start of the A/C pump failure. The trick I found was only run the A/C when traveling faster than 30. You need the air flow to prevent over pressure in the A/C system.
Hmm, it hasn't acted up since it happened. And only made the noise while the battery was failing. Since the new battery no issues. It did take a min or two for the compressor to kick on again once I changed the belt, like it was locked up. Hope the compressor isn't going, don't need that bill haha. But It has been not blowing to cold when at idle, specially when I first start it. Once I get moving it blows cold and stays cold. Been trying to figure out the cause of this. Could be exactly what you said though.
Could be worse.... if your camper was on a Ram you'd be spending a lot of time camping in dealership parking lots.
Lol this true. Dodge is one truck I'll never drive. Maybe if it's got a cummings but not likely ever.
@@UprootedAdventures Unfortunately with Rams it's not just a motor issue... it's the entire truck.... made that mistake! Never again. Use to be a die hard Dodge guy.... not anymore.
