As a retired Technical Teacher I always learned to teach what should the correct method be not the worst. If you have a video on the best exercises for what I believe I suffer from 'Cervicogenic Dizziness' please indicate which videos to watch. Thanks
I had terrible dizziness and first went to a chiropractor….got adjusted and the dizziness was gone. I know not everyone likes to go to a chiropractor but just wanted to put this out there for those who do and may be experiencing dizziness!
I’ve seen patients who have been with chiropractors for 6 months and have cervical spine weakness and cervical spine stability problems and still having cervicogenic dizziness. Some chiros don’t refer out. I’m a vestibular PT and I will refer patients to orthopedic PTs to reduce pain, improve strength before they return to me. These are whiplash injury , milf brain injury / concussion patients who often have co existing problems contributing to dizziness.
A certified vestibular rehab therapist is trained to rule out the neck contribution before initiating vestibular rehab and knows to refer out to orthopedic PT to fix the neck. It may be that the PTs who have initiated vestibular PT have taken one course but not certified.
Thanks for watching. That would be the ideal situation. Unfortunately, I can't even remember how many patients that I have treated that were given the wrong PT and it only made them worse (and cost tons of $). Thanks for your comment!
I had a hypofunction of the ocular reflex from being stiff from cervicogenic dizziness. Yet your caught between medical people denying the last persons views or denial. EGOS. While you cannot work they tell you go back to work with machinery.
does sjogrens disease cause dizziness or complicate this? when you have numerous things going on the specialist don't consider each other, who is a synthesizer? it is not the pcp
I had vng test and shows left vestibular weakness. Should I avoid these 6 exercises? Have numbness in left hand pink and ring finger. Any suggestions. CT scan shows some degenerative disk.
I found out have cervical vertigo. I think i got it thru doing dumbbell shrugs or poor posture. There's stiffness back of my neck cause dizziness & weakness in my arms i thought i had anemic. Neck massage helps, good posture avoid exercises that harm back of neck is need to avoid it
I've found out I had low diastolic pressure in blood pressure reading which caused dizziness when I seating then standing. It also caused Stiffness to neck & traps which like cervical vertigo. High cholesterol caused clog in my heart arteries. I unclog it by using reducol & co-q10 supplements now feel better now
I also feel the same I feel little Dizziness when Laying down and neck pain I also go gym I also used to think that dumbell shrugs can lead to this. Can you Please Tell what I do To feel better??
@@nikhilsingh5797 make sure you're not low blood pressure or low sodium level & have normal diastolic pressure if you have it could contribute to neck & traps stiffness makes you dizzy & could make your arms weak. Proper warm up & execution also helps

If you have symptoms of neck pain and dizziness, you could give the exercises a try. If they make you feel worse don't do them. Best of luck!
