This is absolutely insane because I was diagnosed with cervicogenic headaches and went to physical therapy for months. I spent thousands of dollars and they instructed me to do these exercises you said not to do. I got minimal and short lived relief before I gave up on physical therapy. Now my back, shoulders and neck are even worse. The headaches and vertigo still haven't gone away and I've been dealing with this for 5 years now. I've found more helpful information on the internet than I have gotten from any of my healthcare providers.
Thank you . That worked! Also just to say dizziness diesnt really describe my condition. I have been walking unsteadily, lurching to the left and right. We need a better label for this.
Hello, I have done it all. My last treatment was with a cahiopractor compression dr. He use to lay me down and work in my neck and back.I did at first go to physical therapy for 6 month and the excerices your showing not to do is what the therapist had me do. Now I feel worst then ever. Had this going on 7 years. Now I am going to try this what your recommended.
Due to lack of resources being in a country outside of the US i've had to deal with constant inbalance and dizziness without going to a Doctor for almost two months after a vertigo crisis that lasted hours. It's not fun as you can imagine and i've been all over TH-cam looking for alternatives to at least alleviate the symptoms. I started experiencing a bit of hearing loss like a month ago mostly the left ear and a very subtle buzzing in my right one. I've been doing mostly exercises for BBVP and even the techniques are slightly different from one video to another lol. The amount of info can be puzzling but now that i've watched a couple of your videos i get a different perspective and what NOT to do which included some of the gazing ones, needless to say i stopped because i'm sure my vertigo came from being in a bad posture while in front of a computer for years. Hopefully this week i'll finally get it checked out and i hope the Doctor doesn't put me through further hell and i'm diagnosed accurately. Wish me luck! and thank you for probably saving me from more dizziness while desperately looking for relief (From Venezuela).
Can you do a video concerning cervical fusion 4, 5, 6 im a year out of this fusion and I've been doing all those excercises you demonstrated. Thank you.
I have herniated discs at all the Cs on an mri . Had no dizziness at all until I gave up work and began seeing an osteopath who was very gentle but then my dizziness started 24/7 . I have brilliant balance and no ear issues, I was diagnosed with a rare brain cyst when they did a neck mri and told absolutely impossible cyst is causing dizziness. They say its probably anxiety. I'm almost pain free in neck an have a pretty good range of motion ..so can cervical dizziness last when relaxing and laying down or could this be anxiety dizziness ..Trust me to get a brain cysts diagnosis to throw things in to the mix ! It was a very stressful time as originally told ot could be brain cancer , then a tumour then finally a rathke cleft cyst. I use a. Balance board easily , even doing squats and one foot balancing and progressing to eyes closed . Thanks
@@physiotipswithmarrow5836 I have an update on my neck . While looking for answers to the tight musels in my neck and the constant crunching when trying to turn it , I came across a video on using Castor Oil for arthritic joints .So I tried it . Rubbed the oil on my neck and using a heatable bean bag for about 50 minutes . That was at 9am and right up to 4pm that day 90% of the crunching had gone , I could turn my head compleatly both right and left . Spent the next two hours telling everbody I could how great it work lol. That was two weeks ago and I do this every day now and the change is a miracle . It has done nothing for my dizziness which I am working on and can't thank you enough for post your videos . Up untill I saw the first video the doctors had me tag as severe spinal stenosis that they could not do anything about and that they had now idea why I felt dizzy . You gave me the name Cervicogenic Dizziness and that now has given me so much more understanding of whats going on . The other part of this is , do to going to the ER and having an MRI trying to get this worked out , a 7mm colliod cyst in the third ventracal of my brain was found . The first sergery was a failor , so they will take another shot at it . The Canadain health system is very far from a good one .

thank you so much for sharing some great tips have had dizziness for over 10 years and early years also vertigo , specialists couldnt decide if it was labarynthitis not Meniers no hearing loss, in fact have amplified hearing and tinnitus but for over 20 years felt like I was carrying a heavy yoke on my neck and shoulders, saw a chiropractor for a few years but now am a full time carer so not able to go out these have helped so much, can cervogenic neck problems also contribute to tinnitus and saw jaw, headaches ?
Thank you for those exercise - I have stenosis due to whiplash, a couple of falls, degeneration and age! I am 69 - do you think that exercises for the surrounding muscles will help or is this pain something I have to live with?
Thanks for the videos, I've been looking at all sorts to find out more, and these help a lot. What's your opinion on whether flying can affect cervicogenic dizziness/and or problems? I mean the altitude and that sort of stuff.

Hello sir
I'm suffering from cervical postional vertigo due to cx spondylosis [c4 to c7 mild disc buldge due to bad posture ]+ bbpv can I do this AXIAL LOAD ex
With disc buldge
Thanks
Yes, as long as the exercise is pain free. Best of luck.
How many reps through the day should I put pressure on the top of my head?
Great idea. 4 oz. weight on center of head, walking w/ neck in neutral for 1-3 min. 4-6x/day. Symptom free only of course. Best of luck.
When I walk up or down stairs, I feel dizzy afterwards. If I'm in a slightly elevated place, I also feel dizzy. My doctor is confused and can't determine if it's related to my neck or if there is an issue with my vestibular system. i am also confused
You could always try some of the exercises on my channel as long as they don't make you worse. Best of luck!
Hi doc, i have cervical vertigo but I can't say that I am dizzy..i have neck pain (right and at the back and bottom right of the neck) and feel that im unsteady like falling or swaying/tilting...will this still work with me?
Good chance...just keep it pain free/dizzy free when exercising.

YES. Upper neck problems can cause dizziness, headaches, jaw tightness, and tinnitus. Glad the exercises helped. Best of luck!
can i also do head isometric exercise
Yes, i would keep it pain free.
Can this fix a misaligned atlas? I was told i needed my atlas adjusted but i felt worse afterwords!
Thank you for those exercise - I have stenosis due to whiplash, a couple of falls, degeneration and age! I am 69 - do you think that exercises for the surrounding muscles will help or is this pain something I have to live with?
There is always room for recovery. I treated a lady that had suffered neck pain and daily HAs for 60 yrs and made an amazing recovery. Hang in there!
Thanks for the videos, I've been looking at all sorts to find out more, and these help a lot. What's your opinion on whether flying can affect cervicogenic dizziness/and or problems?
I mean the altitude and that sort of stuff.
I would say the lifting your luggage and sitting for a long time on the plane would more likely bother you than the altitude.
@@physiotipswithmarrow5836 Thank you for the reply. Much appreciated.
