Gday all, sorry for the long delay but here's my longest ever cinematic like you have requested, i hope you enjoy this and expect more like this in the future :)
Would like to give a special thanks to DancingToWolves for voicing Castle and a special thanks to STEIN_THE_LYNX for piloting the Su-22 as good as he did and for taking some time to help shoot these scenes.

good job btw. especially considering that WT replays can be choppy and the provided camera options are a bit limiting when it comes to paning shots.

Great cinematic, it's probably one of the most beautiful videos i've ever watched about war thunder! It looks like someone got inspiration from the DCS Cinematic "The Ghost", haha!

I was also thinking it was inspired by ghost, I was expecting a mig-29.
It would have been awesome now that both jets are in the game but it could probably be a copyright problem. Still is a great video, props to the Su22 pilot for enduring against the F16

This is so cool dude. Only thing I will say is when doing the voices and yelling, you gotta actually yell instead of pretending to. just makes for more immersion but that's me being very very pick. Love everything else about it dude, keep it up

Love the cinematic, well done! 2nd thought, why was there an SU22M3 (Syrian) in the fight when this took place in Iraq?
Very DCS "The ghost" inspired cinematic I see. I'd hate to suggest my ideas aloud as they might as well get stolen as a matter of fact but I would have liked to have seen an F-14 running the search for missing RAF Tornados. Just an interesting idea. The interception by Mig-29 would also be cool. I did find the idea funny that a Su-22 was used kind of drawing from 1981 F-14 vs Su-22 intercept incident where the tomcats splashed both after being fired upon. Thinking over it even more it kind of perfectly gives background as to what could have happened to the F-14 tomcats. We're going into a little bit of science fiction but it could be like a final countdown moment to where those aircraft were sent back in time. Both the F-14's and Su-22's could have swapped places. The first Su-22 spotted could have been the same aircraft to have fought the F-16 in the first battle, splashed. Second Su-22 could have spotted the flaming aircraft of his fellow wingman and decided to go toward the fight. This is where both aircraft meet their end. This comment might have steered weirdly from its original intent but I couldn't care to delete or re-write this comment. XD
biggest comment of 2022 right there ahaha, yeah i didn't want to keep it as historical accurate as i would have liked it, being the fact war thunder itself isn't historically accurate, didn't want to give any new players the wrong idea about war thunder.

I use an audio editing software called Audacity to change the voices.

Nice work but it looks more like a warthunder remake of DCS.THE GHOST the whole story line is a copy and past except few lines here and there
Was basically what I was going for but could only do so much due to war thunders replay function being very limited

Ролик отснят хорошо(за это лайк👍), но правда тут возникает несколько не стыковок которые портят всю серьёзность к фильму(без политики). 1-Почему пилост Сирийской су17 не выпускпл ракеты снова когда ф16 был на прямой перед ним, а затем дал себя спокойно под огонь, так ещё не отстреливал ЛТЦ, хотя у него таковы были. Становиться из за этого просто смешно с ролика😂

Program called Audacity, used eq filter and high pass filter the just added some static over the top in davinci resolve

Video amazing, but audio coming from left ear it's kinda annoying to me
For some reason my editing software would only let me ply voice overs through the left ear and not both, I feel ya it was very annoying.

@@aussie_kangaroo6138 Legend actually has it that they landed in the middle of the desert and proceeded to drink the night out and listen to great balls of fire over the forever repeating radio channel somehow still operating. XD
Alternative: Legend actually has it that the USN retired them mid-flight and they vanished from the pages of history.
