As a former reservist in the Ghaddafi (which frankly I miss a lot) the colors and paint job gave me painful nostalgic feelings. The two pilots survived, one is a prominent political figure in current Libya, the wingman is a political prisoner

I am so amazed what can be done with computer games these days. They can be and are often used to do visualisations for documentaries, both by professionals and amateurs. This was a very well made one. The level of detail on the carrier crews made me think this was DCS. Didn't know War Thunder had that level of animation detail with the flight crews :) Splendid work!

TBT, earlier on before the engagement, I was on the USAF RC-130 Recce mission, evading Libyan fighters. There were actually 3 engagements. You featured only 1 of them.
I’ve never felt a sense of “dread” while watching a War Thunder film, but something about that tactical map and the ominous music when the bogeys were approaching.. idk man that’s just scary as hell. I can’t imagine being an S-3 pilot, brave men. Great video. ❤
