Having both. Finding a great shooting gun is also hand loading to match what it likes. I have a NEMO Arms Watchmen that is amazing with hand loads. I also have 6 arc with a proof research barrel that is amazing. But I also have a 6 arc bolt and a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt that are awesome. It's hard to get a great shooting at thana bolt but I like harder!
What are your thoughts on the Henry Longer ranger (express) or the Browning BXR? This seems like a good balance of bolt gun accuracy with slightly fast follow up shots? Thank you
Nowadays I would have to say they're about the same. If you are that meat head that wants to crack clack clack off rounds looking for that Precision Slow steady and precise is more of the answer with a semi auto Speaking from experience being an 0 3 80 in the Marines . . At this day and age I do not think they are much different if you are smooth and steady other than the simplicity Of the bolt gun The boat gun I would always choose but. But that's also at the price point of a semi auto . I think a cheap bolt action can shootout a semi auto mid. Price point rifle all day
I find a bolt gun just more pleasurable. Its cleaner, simpler, classic lines, just something about them...

Don’t have any experience with those.
My sorry as state doesn't want ar's and 30 round mags are illegal now hell we cant even have a 20 round mag. 10 rounds only
Sounds like it's time for you to move to a free state
What zero are you using. For the 6arc from the last video
200 Yard Zero.
Have you tried a captured or hydro buffer with low mass bcg?
Very little, gonna lean into that more this summer.
@@txpredatorhunting no spring sound or vibration and very noticeable lighter recoil impulse. I won’t do a build without it now.
Yall ever try one of those Jerry Mitchlec magnetic buffer weights?
Good talk!
I gotta say both you guys voices sound like you are made for podcasts.

I'd say that a $500 bolt action will usually out shoot a $1500 off the shelf "mass produced" AR 90% of the time.
