When I was In middle school, I gave major credit to Toby Keith for inspiring the American patriotism in me. I listened to his music on a weekly/daily basis for years… and after hearing the news today, I came back to this song. As I listened, I felt young again and I remembered how I used to feel about this country - proud. Truly and naturally proud, and not faking it.
