Lee isn’t even wearing those “in-ear” things that help block out all of the extra noise and he still perfectly delivered a strong, powerful, heartfelt message through his song…amazing
The in-ear monitors help to hear the backing track, though they also do block out the loud noise of the drums and other things on stage.
It was 2001 were they even invented then?
@@saddletramp6935 "Their origins as a tool in live music performance can be traced back to the mid-1980s". They can be connected by cable to the sender / receiver thingy that can be clipped on your belt, so they didn't have to solve how to make it small enough (like wireless earbuds now without receiver). After that it's just radiowaves, so there is surprisingly enough no difficult technology involved! :)
