My wife is 8 months pregnant and today while driving she was in a terrible head-on collision. Her car was pushed 15 meters while she was inside. She was transferred from the driver's seat to the passenger seat. I thank God that she survived without any injuries except the swelling. After checking, the baby is 100% okay. God is great

My father was a WW II vet, my son is a Marine combat vet, and I spent 20 years in the Navy serving on 5 SSN's. I served proudly with other Americans of various racial, religious, and sexual backgrounds to protect the rights and freedoms of all of us and all of our children. My favorite memory of this song is when I served in the US Army and was stationed at Camp Casey, South Korea. Myself and a few thousand of my Army Brothers and Sisters sang this song together while celebrating the 4th of July in 1993. This song will always hold a special place in my heart.

My Dad Raymond Spitzer served in the USA ARMY, stationed at Pearl Harbor, discharged the day before the attack. My Brother Dorian Atwater served in Vietnam and came home in 1 piece,for some they never did or even came back. Alot of the men in my church served and every Memorial weekend on Sunday we thank them. This is 1 of my favorite songs. Regardless of what people think about this nation I love my country, we have so many freedom's, that why people want to come here. I watched it before I became a citizen. In fact, my husband made me watch it when I moved to the US. I had some pretty wet eyes after that. It's hard not to love a country and people that love liberty and freedom so much. Back in 1st grade, I sang this song for a school performance alongside my classmates. I had no idea the true meaning back then, but I liked this song the most out of the other songs performed (still my favorite to this day). Now, in high school, I realize how much of a big impact this song has on me. Thank you to all US Military Servicemen and Servicewomen, for giving me the freedom, strength, and pride to call myself a proud American.
