- Sew along with me as I continue working on TWO I spy quilts for the grandsons.
I had to stop because my sewing machine had a very small piece break as I was quilting.
Today...I'm off to the repair shop to get it fixed.

You add a LOT to my quilting life. Many times I have watched your videos as much for your manners as what I have learned from your engineering skills. Today is no exception ... you really know scrap quilting and I am as challenged as much as encouraged to do things I have never tried before.
Thank you so much
Your grandsons will love those quilts. They will sleep well under the quilts lovingly made by grandma! I need to take my Juki in as well. I was sewing at 3 am to finish a quilt and I goofed up and broke the needle threader off. It will be a good opportunity to have it cleaned and adjusted as well. It is good to take them in occasionally for maintenance since we expect so much from our machines.
Oh Beth, those quilts are so beautiful. Love the borders…so inspirational and colourful. Thanks for sharing your talent. 🇦🇺❤️
Such a simple quilt but such stunning results! Who says quilts have to be complicated to be beautiful? Not me, not anymore since watching your videos! I absolutely love the results! Beautiful! Beth, you are such a blessing to us! Thank you, for being an inspiration to me.
Wow, thank you!
@@bethshibleyquilts you are welcome!! I mean it sincerely, you have helped my quilting so very much!
I’d love for someone to make me a quilt like this. So beautiful.
Awesome finish, your grands will love them.
Your quilts are adorable.
You’re always so inspiring. I also enjoy you showing us how you spray baste your quilts. Maybe I’ll give the table a try as well.
Beautiful! A great idea for a large boarder! I make a lot of Donation Quilts with my church and this is a great use for all the scraps I have !! Thank you!
Hope your machine is fixed quickly.
Love the quilt
2 gorgeous quilts for your grandchildren. They are going to love and cherish them.
How lovely!! These are so bright & fun from afar, then you let little 4 yr old eyes take a look up close & they’re magical & intense ❤ they are so so beautiful Beth. You inspire me to do more with what I have & help me to remember that simple blocks & strips can command a deep feeling in the soul just as much as tiny intricate patterns. Simply lovely 🥰. Thank you
thank you for your kind comment🙂
It is always something with our machines, isn't it? I am glad it looks easy to fix. The little guys are going to love those quilts!
These turned out really nice! Love watching you create. Keep them coming!
Love how these 2 quilts have evolved from all those pieces of fabrics 🥰
I am always inspired to just crack on and find solutions and improvise without fear, once I watch you make lovely quilts. Thank you Beth. Love from a warm West Australia.💖🇦🇺
Great little quilts. I love these. Good luck and best wishes for a speedy repair on your Juki.
Cute quilts, lucky grandchildren. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you! 😊
Oh so inspiring Beth ! Your grandson's will treasure these forever 👦👦
I love your utilitarian style. Great quilts. Your grandsons will enjoy those for many years.
Utilitarian, but beautiful! Only style for me. Quilts are meant to be on beds, used daily and washed often. Beth is my favorite TH-cam quilter❤❤(KH
What a great idea - I would have been sewing each piece to each piece, one by one. 😳🤦🏽♀️😂
❤thankstoyouim going to make myfavorite pattern Wonky Stars with batting watching this tutorial gave me even more confidence to do it hopefully I'll have it done by my 73rd birthday in September
Thank you for sharing the joys and even the "oh boys" of your quilting journey. So sorry your machine is in the shop 😢
Simple but beautiful quilt❤
У вас великолепные работы! И это настоящее волшебство - когда сбывается истина "все гениальное -- просто". Вы показываете, как из простых (технически несложных) узоров можно создавать по-настоящему красивые вещи. Большое спасибо за интересное и полезное видео!!
I'm glad you decided to add the borders.
totally ADORABLE!!! I also have a machine in the hospital.....don't like it being there, but this does give me time to do other things----vacuum, dust, change sheets, laundry....ya know, but need my machine back NOW cuz i'd rather be sewing........thanks for sharing your grandsons quilts......they will love them!!!
I use my car every day with few exceptions. I don't sew much. But when there is a project and the machine needs service, it can seem about equal to the car being out of commission.
I absolutely love these quilts, and no triangles!
Awesome quilts for your grandsone. 🎉❤
Love borders like this. Great choice for these quilts Beth. Good luck with your machine repair so you can finish them.👏♥️🇦🇺
I like the way you quilted using the chalk markers. Lovely quilts! ❤
That’s too bad a part of your machine broke, better to be safe than sorry. Your quilt looks great, I’m personally doing my first crosshatch ever. I’ve gone with 1 1/2 “ spacing. It’s only half done in one direction and I’m going to say it’s a lot of work. Best of luck with your sewing machine. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️🙂
Sis, I just love your quilting. In fact, you have inspired me to just do a patchwork (4 patch - 2 charm packs that I had in my stash) 🎉quilt that I finished the top to yesterday. I have now finished piecing the back and now I am making Frankenbatting cause I want this to be a quilt that used up ass many scraps as possible. Thank you for your inspiration.
Lovely quilts. Hope your machine gets fixed soon. I’m sure your grandsons will love their quilts. Your videos are very straightforward and concise. You are a great teacher! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful quilts, Beth! 🩷 Hope you get your machine repaired soon and you’ll be back to doing what you love! 😃🌷
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!
Those boys are so blessed to be one the receiving end of these quilts. So very nice.
Two great quilts for your grandsons. Thanks for the idea.
As Always! Beautiful job!
Thank you so much 😊
The quilts are great, fun, and nice use of scraps. Your domestic machine quilting is fantastic. The cross hatch is perfect for design of quilt. Super job.
This is my favorite !! ❤
Beth hopefully the broken part won't cost too much for the replacement. Or for the labor charges 🤞
Beautiful quilts!❤
♥️♥️♥️
Great job!
Your grandchildren will cherish these quilts.. beautiful work! I had the same problem with the needle bar. My repair man told there was a sturdier one available for my machine if I was interested and I did decide to have the sturdier one put on my machine.
Thanks for the tip!
I use the same batting, more economical to buy it in the large rolls.
twins... double the work, double the fun...
Such great quilts. Frustrating that a $2 part can delay ability to continue to sew! Trust it can be fixed quickly. I love my Juki!!
I also have to take my machine at the doctor. I might be a while without it.😢
I use masking tape for my lines. It works great for me.
Yes. Thanks for sharing. I also frequently use tape. 👍
It looks like you don't use a walking foot. Have any troubles? the quilts are adorable!
The all purpose foot usually works great on my juki.
I LOVE LOVE ur tutorials. Do u ever do QAYG? If so, could u do a tutorial on QAYG?
I haven’t done that… yet🙂
😺
Were your blocks 5” squares? Quilts are so cute.
