Old Mechanic thank you for your videos, they provide detailed instuctions on motorcycle maintenance..ie oil change, chain lubrication, final drive spline lube, brake bleed and pad removal, valve adjustment and many other useful tips, however how do you know your bike is running at optimum performance without plugging it into the tightly guarded BMW software, which unforunately is unavailable to mere mortals unless they dig deep into their pockets at a BMW (Bring My Wallet) dealer?
Great point! I listen how it runs, keep my oil consuption in my eye, and ofcourse the fuel consuption. If those are okay then i know my bmw is in good shape
Hello Old Mechanic, I ordered a 2024 BMW S1000R base suspension, non electronic for canyon riding as well as tracking a few times a year. The bike does not come with pro ride modes and DTC only with another expensive package. Do you know of any scanner that will set this up instead of bringing it to the dealer? Thank You Joe
Super duidelijk verhaal. Ik heb een algemene vraag. De bmw k1300r functioneert de esa niet meer. Met de motoscan is de esa wel te kalibreren. Na succesvolle kalibratie komt er geen esa op display. Kunt u mij hierbij helpen wat ik moet doen om de esa weer in te schakelen? Alvast bedankt. Grt, Sebas
