I just buy S1K with 7k kilometers and i hear some wierd noice when shifting with clutch...i write how it manifest... When i change gear 1-2 2-3 3-4 etc...after i put in gear and when i releasing clutch a little faster (80 % clutch lever released) i hear some sound from clutch basket i think like "CLUNK"...I feel that "CLANK" on my clutch lever....if i release clutch a little slower,gently,there is no any of sound... Shifter,bliper,works perffect. Is that normal or i should worry about it.? Bike have been serviced once in BMW service on 1000.km and really is like brand new. Thanks
Thanks for the clear and fantastic video. When I use the uniscan and select the s100xr, the reset does not work? When I select the s1000rr the reset is working??? Any idea what could be wrong? Thank you for the help.

But a bit strange you have to start guessing what type of bike you need to select to make it work and bikes in the software are not corresponding to the reality. Maybe because I use the UCS2100 module and not the UCS2000? (Praat jij toevallig ook Nederlands? 😉)

Hi Old Mechanic, i have a question about resetting the service light on my bmw r1200rt (2013 former police bike) I have bought the software and the dongle, selected the K26 and did all the tests. but when I reset the service light by changing the date to 8-9-2023 or 10k (what come first). When I then pres the update then i see the dashboard blinking , the service text dissapear and turn on again. when i switch off the contact and switch it on it apears again. But the service date says sept 2023. Do you have any idea what i do wrong. thanks for the support. btw i love your videos
@@stefanjochems3855 Hi Old Mechanic, Problem solved. i had the wrong data in the Date Motor cycle. I put there the future date of 4-9-2022. Changed that back to the day of today and now the Service message is gone by the wind. :-) :-) thanks. :-) Do you have a link or info od all the other settings in the tool? When you scroll down the tool there are a lot of abriviations that make no sense to me ( so not touched either) :-) :-) Do you have any experience with the BMW R1200 RT ( former " overheids fiets" ) where they differ from the normal RT?? Thanks again for the help. ....maybe a tip/question?? can/will you make a video about all the greases and oil you are using? When i watch your video you are a real grease fan ( so aplied that as much as possible as well) But sometimes get lost on the slippery pads of grease and where / how to use. same as with engine oil ( use now the 20w/50 syntetic oil for Boxers) . thank and keep op doing the videos :-)

The service light on mine has been there for over a year I have the motoscan app but it always tells me it can't read long codes, I now think I need the 'Ultimate' version not the professional one
In my BMW S1000R, I put 100% Synthetic Castrol 5W40 oil. Can I use 10w40 instead of 5w40? Note: I don't take the road, only in the city. A minha BMW S1000R, Eu coloco óleo 5W40 castrol 100% Sintético. Eu posso colocar o 10w40 no lugar do 5w40? Obs: Eu não pego estrada,Somente na cidade.

From what I can see/research, the MotoScan app is only available for Android phones.
