    I make my own hand soap with more simple and a little more natural. I purchase the non scented soap base and i include shea butter, glycerin, witch hazel, rosemary oil, essential oils, Himalayan salt and aloe vera oil. It's very moisturizing, many bubbles, antibacterial and smells great.

    I think the color is lovely and fitting with the more coffee leaning scent! Also, fluffy bubbles is why my grandbabies will spend 20 minutes in the bathroom with my cp bars washing their hands lol As the song says, suds and bubbles are fun! Thank you for sharing your knowledge I have a friend who's always asking me to make liquid soap. Maybe I'll try one day ^-^

    Hi Jerika one thing I love about your videos is the explanation of what ingredients are and why you incorporate them. Thank you for that. May I ask you how did you get to know so much about them and formulations. Did you take a course that you might recommend or through research only. Thank you for your reply. Greetings from the Netherlands 🙏

    Dear Jerika, you can take the tiniest amount of water solubile dye and disperse it in a small amount of water maybe 1-2 ml and add the colored water drop by drop to your product until the color is right. This way you have much more control when handling tiny amounts. For more control you can disperse the dye in more water.

    I put labels with black text on a similar dark red soap bar and couldn't see it either. I've been avoiding that dark red ever since.
    I had no idea BBW colours their bottles instead of adding dye now! That's a really neat change (especially since they can afford to do so lol).

    Stumbled across this video today, love your page! Your FO blend sounds delicious. Out of curiosity, why didn't you use 99% rubbing alcohol spray to remove the bubbles while mixing. That's what I do to speed up the blending process. Either way, your dupe looks fantastic and bravo on the label 💞

    I actually like the color, it is deep and truly fall inspired. I bet the fragrance is beautiful! I haven't tried the BS surfactant yet. It looks like it works well! I love working with surfactants. I prefer your bubbles compared to B & B''s, it turned out beautiful!

      @@carolynpalano9284 I think the point is people are trying to get away from chemicals and go for more natural and simple ingredients.
      Chemicals scare a lot of people. Who knows what damage they do in the long run?
      That is why I read labels, make most of my own body and skin products (soap, body butters, homemade shampoo et cetera).

    The issue with the color appeared because you set the desired color when adding adding the colorant, but, after, you added the protein which is brown-redish, adding to the color. Take in consideration the color of the ingredients next time, before adding the color

    Do you need a permission to copy the product of that company and making a video about comparing it to yours? In fact, why did you wanted to copy it? Surfactants and preservatives are not good for the environment. Why don't you just use liquid Castille Soap? That would be less complicated...

    • @emmalarsson8291
      @emmalarsson8291 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This is not a copy, so no permission needed. There is no real difference to the environment if you use Castile soap or other surfactants and preservatives. Clean beauty is not as clean as they say... Lots of people can not use Castile soap because of eczema. Unfortunately.

    • @elie1434
      @elie1434 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @samaiyabalogun349
      @samaiyabalogun349 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You sound really judgmental of this. This is not a copy but her version of BBW’s hand soap. Many formulators look at other big name companies products and try to make their own version of it. Yes, surfactants and preservatives may not be for everyone and maybe you like to make your stuff with Castile soap. That’s fine but please don’t get on other people’s videos complaining about the way they formulate their products. That’s plain rude. Also there was nothing complicated about what she did, just a few extra steps. Definitely not for the lazy.

    • @samaiyabalogun349
      @samaiyabalogun349 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also all matter is chemicals. The ingredients used to make liquid Castile soap is chemicals. Water is a chemical. Come on….
